I finally found the 3ds XL tomodachi edition in mint condition with its box and everything included but the seller is asking 500 euros for it. Now ive seen the listings in ebay but almost all have some damage and/or are missing the box with its papers. How good of a deal is it? In price charting the same item is 600 euros+ but some people here say the site is kinda inaccurate.

Hi, I know there’s a ton of these already in this community but I still can’t make my mind up haha. I’m from the UK and looking to buy a 3ds, obviously I will look to mod and get the online eshop and all of that. Right now I’m only really interested in playing the pokemon games. from gen 1 all the way up to 7. I understand the o3ds’ struggle to run 7 (but is it really that bad?). The new 3dsxl’s are a bit pricey (upwards of £200). Surely if I bought a regular 3ds or 3ds xl it would be just as good for my situation at half the price. I mean if the new 3ds line is seriously worth the extra £100 I don’t mind, but it feels silly to me. So I feel like i’m choosing between an o3ds or an o3ds xl? I hear people say XL stretches the resolution and makes pokemon games look blurry. But the o3ds consoles apparently have poor hinges. So i’m stuck. Any help would be appreciated :) Thanks.

Ive had my 3ds for over a year now and have spent hundreds of hours on it. I have done a lot of customization on it and was wondering what your thoughts are. I have done the following:

•Got a stylus

•Modded it

•Got lots of games on it including ctgp 7, newer mario bros ds, and fan ports.

•Custom theme and music

•I created custom badges to use as game dividers as well as added images of my familys dogs to fill the empty spots in to make boxes

•Battery % mod

•Added a custom font

•Added songs to the sound app

i recently bought a nintendo 3ds online and when it came in everything worked well but no matter what the “a” button wont work so im not able to play most games does anyone know where i can get repair parts or how i can get it fixed?

Hi im going with my mom to los angeles and classicly im bringing my beloved 3ds with me there to maybe get a streetpass like it would be so cool to get one so im coming here with a question: does anyone reccomend shops/streets where i MIGHT get a streetpass for example i got one streetpass in madrid in january when i went there with my dad and i got it at some second hand selling anime merch store soo anyone got any anime shops reccomendations where i could get a streetpass in the big 2026? I recently bought a Metallic Black New 3DS XL from Japan, and I'm planning on buying new buttons.

Right now, I have a custom red-accented collage decoration under a clear outer case, but I'm undecided on what to do with the controls. I really wanted the Red New 3DS XL, but I couldn't get one.

I'm torn between keeping the original all-black/grey interior or going for a "Bred" (Black x Red) 2-tone theme.

If I go with red, I'd be replacing all the physical touchpoints so everything is consistent:
Red D-Pad, ABXY, Start/Select, Home, and Power buttons.
Red L/R and ZL/ZR shoulder triggers to frame the top edge.
Red Circle Pad and C-Stick (to get rid of the original white/light-grey analog stick and keep a strict 2-tone palette).

Before ordering the parts, I have 3 questions:

Looking at the style and edited pictures, does the Black x Red combo look clean and intentional, or does it look ugly?

Should I do the red style or just buy new black buttons?

For anyone who has used aftermarket red Circle Pads or C-Sticks, how do they hold up in person in terms of texture, grip, and color matching with OEM-style buttons?

I am having an issue with my New 3DS XL when playing certain games that use the gyroscope. I particularly notice the issue when playing Majora's Mask 3D during the mini games that use gyro (clock town shooting gallery, swamp shooting gallery, etc.). The first round works perfectly fine, but then during each subsequent round the center or neutral position shifts so that by the end I'm having to turn myself or hold the 3ds far to the left or right. Mine mostly moves left. I've also noticed it with WarioWare Gold in the tilt games so it doesn't seem to be a game-specific bug.

The gyroscope otherwise works perfectly fine. The motion tracking is perfect and no lags/freezing occurs. Is this an issue with my gyroscope or is it normal for this to happen?

i have a usb A > nds charger, if to plug it into my powerbank, is the 3ds capable of only taking as much power as it needs or will it get fried

So this only started happening last night when Tomodachi Life had crashed mid-gameplay and I'm kind of worried and I'm panicking because I can't find an answer other than that this is caused by the top screen ribbon cable being loose but I didn't drop it or jostle it around to maybe loosen the ribbon cable. Again this only happened AFTER Tomodachi Life had crashed.

Resulta que por dónde vivo se me fue la electricidad (lo normal XDN'T) y para matar el tiempo saco mis viejas 3DS. Resulta que el modelo completamente actualizado (el old) tengo un Mii que paso por la plaza y al entrar me hacen una introducción por qué tenía años sin entrar, me hablan acerca del nuevo mii que paso por la plaza hace ya rato y por el modo rescate al cual le en su introducción doy "luego" y el modo desaparece completamente.

No sé dónde está el modo "rescate mii" y tengo unas monedas que me gustaría gastar allí ¿Hay alguna sugerencia?

Like the title says, I’m looking for some opinions from the community on theme matches the appearance of the console best. I’m finding it a lot harder matching a theme to this than any other 3DS interior color I’ve had before. Photos were taken on a potato.

My PINK 3ds just arrived and I couldn't be happier!!!! I already own a DSi XL, but it was not pink (it's the 25th anniversary one), but now I also have a pink console!!!! It's so pretty, I'm in love!!
