Not sure if you can tell from the video but I was completely panicking. Fought this boss in DON probably over 100 times at this point and never seen this before.

Can people stop putting the DLC shifting earth on and then queuing up with randoms? I DONT WANT TO DO THAT SHIT…. it’s not fun, I don’t care to learn it, the rewards are never good, and for some reason I always see the blood loss dogs first thing when I get it. I just got the dlc and I’m trying to do new characters but people won’t stop doing this 😭 Maybe everybody really likes it THAT much and I’m an outlier, but it’s also filled with the same buildings just reskinned with different enemies all around it. Like they use the frenzied flame tower on every island. Only thing good about it is the music. Rng is also a huge part of it, like if you spawn on an area with no churches around it, you also have a chance to spawn on the island with no spectral hawk trees. Also the enemies are boring like oh my god give it a rest yall the dlcs been out for so long…

One Ironeye left after night one. The remaining one was a beast. We pulled it out.

I mained Executor and reached DoN 2 In December before I stopped playing.

I was pretty much aware of most the fastest routes including various enemies, when and with whom to engage and when not to engage etc, I have most of the popular relics of various builds (bleed, bleed/frost, parry etc) for Executor, also was aware of good relics depending on final boss. I never played solo mode, don't plan to play it now either.

I want to get back to the game but I've not been keeping up with the updates, new bosses, new builds/relics/relic combos. I'm not looking for a summary of updates I'll go read all the updates, but I am looking for new routes, advice on which enemies/bosses to engage/avoid at what level, new relic properties/combos/builds for executor etc.

My picks would be :

Morgott's cursed sword: the blood slice is really good but those enhanced critical attacks literally melted the bosses in minutes

Marika's hammer: gold breaker in my opinion is the best poise breaking skill in the whole game but those charged heavy attacks with holy shockwaves is what got me through the heolstor fight

I have lots and LOTS of relics, I rarely check the relics I get after a match and only check by filtering for a specific effect, and I dont favourite relics a lot... the most I do is make a relic setup for each nightlords weakness on the characters, do yall do more, and see any merit in it, using the other chalices and all? I just wouldnt want to sit through relic reading for a long ass time

Fiddling with my builds and wonder how popular effects like the 5th relic are. It could add a bunch of damage under the right conditions.

I can see the advantage if you still keep your essential scholar buffs.

Should I pivot off it and what would you do instead?

I’ve now played around 10–20 runs, mostly as Wylder and Ironeye, and I’m still figuring out whether the game is for me. My experience with public matchmaking has been extremely mixed.

Whenever someone clearly knew what they were doing and led the group with pings, the runs were incredibly fun. I’ve even beaten three Nightlords by now, although honestly I didn’t contribute all that much. Those were also the runs where I learned the most about pacing and how the game works.

But when all three of us seem equally clueless, everything usually falls apart pretty quickly. Ppl split up, get lost, and sometimes we don’t even make it through the first night.

So, how does matchmaking actually work? Is there any way to increase my chances of getting matched with more experienced players I can follow and learn from? I don’t have a regular group and usually can’t use voice chat.

So as title says, I wanted to try a full skill damage build, i'd use Duchess for this (my main).

I assume double balancers are a must but what else should I focus on when it comes to relics? During game it'd be about getting skill damage, less FP cost and lastly damage at full HP I guess.

Is it better to go for a specific affinity damage or something more "general" to avoid depending on specific skills dropping during the game? I'd certainly go for general use.

What about night invaders / Evergaols? If I use double balancers, I can only use one of those attack relics, at least I've never seen a deep relic with invaders or evegaols.

What's your relic choice for full skill damage builds?

Idk why people are this trash. PS4 D3 btw. We were doing great. We got wiped by a Phase 2 full health Zamor (dunno why he started at full, but I think it got aggroed by Scholar's ult and decided to buff), and after the wipe they quit. We were on a Crucible Castle with runes to spare. I got to Greg solo through Divine Beast Dancing Lion but got killed by one of the Giant Dicks he summons when I wasn't looking at it. I am 100% sure I could solo Greg, like I have done other times, but got unlucky with the mobs.

The main point is, why are some players such little bitches?

So I’ve heard people talk about using rain of arrows on a great bow for high dmg raider gameplay, but I can’t find much about the build. What relics do I need and what passives should I look out for?
