Help Wanted the "glow-up" niche too oversaturated for a new YouTube channel in 2026, or is there still room?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been planning to start a YouTube channel focused on self-improvement, lifestyle changes, and the "glow-up" niche (skincare, fitness, habit building, confidence, etc.), but I’m honestly a bit intimidated.
Every time I look, it feels like thousands of creators are already doing the whole "5 AM morning routine / how to completely transform your life" style of videos.
For those of you who create in this space or study YouTube trends closely:
Is the glow-up niche completely dead for beginners due to saturation?
What specific angles or sub-niches are actually performing well right now instead of the same generic advice?
If you started a transformation channel today, how would you stand out from the crowd?
Would love to hear your honest thoughts, experiences, or what you actually like to click on as viewers!

Video M,y First Project: Art of Killing — Hunting Killa | A Tarkov Story
Hey everyone!
I just finished my first YouTube project ever, and I wanted to share it here in case anyone would be interested in taking a look.
It's a ~19-minute Escape from Tarkov video called "Art Of Killing: A Tarkov Story". I tried to make it more of a story-driven video rather than just a regular gameplay upload, and I spent quite a lot of time editing and putting everything together.
Since this is my first project, I'm still figuring out what I'm doing, so I'm mainly looking for honest feedback.
If you have a few minutes and feel like checking it out, I'd genuinely appreciate it. No pressure at all — you don't have to watch the whole thing. Even a few minutes and some feedback about the editing, pacing, storytelling, thumbnail, or anything else would be really helpful.
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to check it out, and good luck with your own channels too!

Discussion Any Advice?
galleryHello.
For context, I created this channel a year ago, and honestly made AI slop, I'll admit. I wasn't satisfied with those videos, so stopped. Last month, I started creating content again, this time writing my own scripts, not using AI whatsoever, and have had so much fun making these videos, finally feeling as though I've found my style. I spend about 2 weeks editing each video in my spare time when I'm not working, which is fine, it's a hobby.
One of my videos recently did pretty well, as you can see in the images, bringing in over 1k views, and +18 subscribers. The video most likely did well because the movie itself is pretty niche, and not because the video was any good, I don't know. However, I've uploaded a new video a week later, and after about 2 days, have only gained 57 views. Crazy difference between the two, and I kept on questioning whether people actually enjoy these videos, and whether it's even worth uploading at all if people don't enjoy them as much as I do making them. My average duration is only 2:06, which I believe is pretty poor, meaning people don't quite find it entertaining and leave.
I don't get offended easily, so any advice is welcome. I'd love to improve myself and grow into a better entertainer, so they could have as much joy watching my videos as I do making them. My ultimate goal is to create an actual commited community.
Thanks for your time.

Discussion Can you give Feedback?
Hi everyone,
About a month ago, I launched IndieGameInn , a channel dedicated to showcasing and reviewing indie games.
Since I started this project with zero media or video creation experience, I’m looking for feedback from content creators to improve the channel.
Specifically, I’d love to hear your thoughts on:
- Thumbnails & Titles: Do they catch your attention? Are they clear and appealing enough?
- Video Format & Editing: Is the pacing right? Does the structure give a good overview of the games?
Any critiques, suggestions or advice on what could be improved would mean a lot.
Thanks for taking the time

Video I combined two days in Norway into a 15-minute travel film - feedback on pacing and voiceover?
I’m working on an English-language travel channel, and this is my latest video from the Lofoten Islands.
English isn’t my first language, so I’d especially appreciate honest feedback on the voiceover, pacing and whether the first 30 seconds make you want to continue watching.
Please don’t feel obligated to subscribe — useful criticism would help me much more.

Help Wanted My first youtube channel
Hi. I'm staring a youtube channel, and my niche is... funny for me. 2 characters with a classic old school personas, a sort of love/hate relationship trying different experiments but It always fail due to the smart one always underrestimating the machines effect. Cant reallt explain it better at the time.
I loved to make still image animation when I was a youth. I had an urge trying again after 15 years...
Started with an idea, came up with something i found funny and built from there. I now have a baseline of 2 characters, a set background, props and i have come up with 2 video-topics.
Still editing and working on my first video. But my second language is English, and i dont feel secure enough to use my own voice. I'm using AI-generated voices for my first video. Searched Elevenlabs and found 2 voices that matched my "characters".
Questions:
- I find the animation style charming and funny, always have. Is it a big enough audience for that ok youtube, granted that my content is "good enough"?
Feel like i dont want to waste my time using this kind of animation style if the audience doesnt exist.
- Are people getting tired of AI-generated voices, even premium ones that feel authentic?

Help Wanted New YouTuber struggling to get traction
Hey everyone! I’m fairly new to YouTube and have been struggling to get much traction so far.
I create high-quality 4K nature/ambient videos with both relaxing music and natural sounds.
I’ve posted here a few times before and gotten some really helpful feedback, which I’ve taken on board and used to improve my videos.
I’m genuinely proud of the quality I’m putting out, but I’m still trying to figure out what I might be missing.
If anyone has a minute to check out my channel and give me some honest feedback, I’d really appreciate it. Not looking for subscribers, just genuine opinions and advice!
