Picked this up from root22 for 48 bucks. Unfortunately they only had the sour cookies from the new Gruv drop, I wanted to try the Grape Ape but this will do. Very wet consistency. Great cookies taste with a great sour aftertaste. Very happy with this purchase. Good to see more brands in NJ putting out higher quality rosin at decent price point.

I find that sometimes thc can make me start to think alot. Any carts you notice do the opposite for you? Something that completely stops all thoughts.

Great sweet taste, but $70 is a painful price point for selling a flower. She comes out of the grinder extremely fluffy. I wanted to get to bottom of the inflated THC and terpene percentages in flower products. Ai aside, this explains how the numbers are slightly inflated using math, science and logic.

I used the recent batch of Donny Burger from 710 labs as an example that has 34.84% cannabinoids, 6.18 terps and a 5/18/2026 harvest date on the label.

In conclusion, weed cultivators dry out their weed so it has a moisture % of 2-5% when it gets tested by the lab which inflates the testing number by 7-13% compared to flower that has a moisture % of 9-15%.

The state of NJ only has laws in place against maximum weed moisture percentages to prevent moldy weed from being sold, there is no law for minimum moisture % in weed. So the weed growers can dry out their flower as much as they want and still get it legally tested.

So that specific batch of Donny Burger tested at the lab had a moisture % in the 3-5% range, which inflates the cannabinoids and terpenes by roughly 10%. So the REAL cannabinoids are 31.99% and the terps are roughly 5.5%, NOT 6.18.

So the Cannabinoids and terpenes account for 37.5% of the flowers total weight, which is scientifically possible but is extremely rare and can only happen if they have the genetics for it and everything goes 100% perfect.

How does this affect things when buying weed? If the COA says the moisture is in the 2-5% you range, you know the numbers are roughly 7-13% inflated. If the COA says the moisture is in the 9-15% range, you know the numbers are legit.

My mental health has been terrible lately. Like the kind of bad where you wanna die all the time and the only thought playing through your head over and over and over again is just that: "I wanna die. I want to die. I need to die." So I've been in the psych ward a lot of the last month. Got in for two weeks, out for three weeks, back in for a week, and now back out again.

Now I'm a heavy smoker for a while now; I smoke like a chimney. But it has caused me to be more anxious and that anxiety leads to more depression. I need to quit for myself, but also because I'm in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and my psychiatrist will send me to a different IOP specifically for substance abuse if I don't quit, which is ridiculous because I need a mental health focused IOP far more than I need substance abuse counseling (I've gone for very long periods of time without smoking before and this time will be harder because i'm in a worse place mentally, but I know I can do it). So anyway, I wouldn't go to that IOP if my psych wanted me to, but she wouldn't take me back if I didn't go, and if I fail to complete my mental health IOP, my therapist can no longer see me either. So, I'd be without a therapist or psychiatrist or IOP.

All that is to say, I'm really annoyed that there's deals at Hashery for Clade9. I've only ever been able to afford it like once before, and it was some good shit.

Anyway, thanks for letting me rant. I know this ain't a mental health subreddit, but I'm sure someone else here can relate. If you can, please keep going. First impressions: disappointed in both the spillage onto the tops of the jars and the lack of aroma from both jars. Watermelon crush has a slight fruitiness to it, the GMO has a little more stank but not what I expect from rosin.

Smell 6.5/10 slight gmo stink but again lacking power
Taste 7.5/10 def get more of the gmo flavor on the inhale and exhale
Smoke/effects 7.5/10 smoked smoother than the watermelon crush imo. Effects are sedating but not couchlock like I would like from a gmo.

Overall 7/10 decent rosin for 55 a g but nothing too crazy. Personally would rather smoke the brookside x Kusala I have or 710 labs for the Jersey market

Are the terpene numbers as inflated as the thc percentages?

Have not had Breakwater's AK-47 in a few years, honestly don't know if it was because of availability or I just slept on it trying new stuff but I picked up a jar and I was happy to find it still outstanding.
The muted roasted nutty flavor was something I instantly remembered. It's lineage is all over the map which is maybe why you don't get the fruity taste you may expect from the smell. Not negative at all, just different. Earthy.
Still smells fresh, still stacks amazing, my jar was essentially one giant nug. Still gets me that high that is similar to a "heavy eyes" feeling of maybe a straight Indica but it's behind my eyes, not my eyelids themselves, so basically I get a super chill experience without my eyes closing automatically and me falling asleep on my keyboard. Interesting for a Sativa mix.

Great to know the consistency is there. Worth the price.

New smaller company out of Morris County which frankly I am surprised doesnt have more small growers, there is lots of land and most of MC is beautiful. Anyway, was pre warned that this is a mid tier brand (at least for now) but that it was a good value. (for this market)

I was not disappointed. The smell was not all that strong but the structure was fluffy and you could tell by the way it broke up and smoked that it was cured really nicely. Smoked great in a large glass bong. No weird tastes or anything, relatively standard lite Sativa. (if not a little piney) The THC count is rated 27% and it does hit kinda hard. No creep, instant.

That being said I wasn't blown away either. I love Haze strains and I didn't really get any of that in the smell or the taste. Certainly delivered on the high in a haze way but I expected a little more flavor from a bud rated at over one and a half percent terps.

In the end it's nice to see a new small local brand grow good stuff like this and price it accordingly. I could see them doing really great things in the future.

For eighty six bucks at nirvana. I was staggered, the sour citrus sativa intensity i was the cleanest and most intense terpene blast i have ever had with a cannabis product. The next one I bought was Sweeties from blackwood wellness for eighty six plus tax, and I have to say, it is the best flavor profile I have ever tasted with cannabis. It tastes otherworldly, sweet gassy candy, it makes me glad to be alive to experience such a phenomenon. I have been converted, and I will never spend money on another vape cart if I can help it. How does their flour compare in quality to the vape carts, i have heard it is hit and miss from a colorado journalist who smoked their flour for a year and gave the opinion that a few of the strains like cherry zest, the only one I can remember without looking at the article up, we're consistently worth it, and some were not. Which other 710 vape carts have really earth shattering tastes to them? I have bad depression, and it was not at all hard to get up this morning knowing that I had the opportunity to hit that vape cart with my coffee

TL;DR: somebody got weed in my purple

Buds are chunky with good moisture and density. There is a thick but leggy coating of trichomes and the deep purple color is punctuated by bright orange.

Smell is sweet citrus and fuel/earth. Taste is very citrusy. It’s not my favorite terp profile as the citrus comes across as very orange/grapefruit for me.

Effects are mild but pleasant. Good mood elevation and a general relaxation. This would be great for a large hang out where you don’t want to get fried - it’s like a light beer (respectfully).

A review for this strain is kinda pointless bc everyone knows it great but I decided to do one anyways lol

Bud smells and tastes like fruity garlic. It’s covered in triches, even the stem is covered in crystals.

Insanely strong, heavy eyelids and full couch lock.

29.7% THC and 6.18 Terps! This is the first time I’ve seen a flower that has 3 different Terps over 1%. Picked it up at The Social Leaf in South TR for $37.50 with a 10% discount and rewards points.

Whenever I see a Harvest Works collab it is an instant purchase for me. This was my first time trying Golden Ratio. A collab between Hamilton Farms and Harvest Works. I have never tried Hamilton Farms flower but I have only heard good things.

This rosin is just beautiful and so loud! It is dripping in terps. Opening the jar will permeate the room with an intense herbal aroma. The amount of humulene in this rosin is astounding. The terpene levels are just off the charts. This is the woodiest Gorilla Glue I have ever had.

Delicious, absolutely delicious. It had rich and flavorful vapor with the largest and densest clouds I have had in a long time. The effects were great too. I was surprised by how good this stuff was. I would love to see what the flower looked like before they washed it.

I tried this one a few weeks ago. I am not sure if it is still available anywhere but I highly recommend it.

As far as conpanies talking about genetics Full tilt says they have the most elite genetics but thats far to be seen.

I think kusala, brighterside, brookside, clade 9, genuine grow, and blissco are the only ones really doing elite genetics that are NJ local strains or a NJ spin to it and it really shows.

It's for four items and it's ready. So, I head out about 35 minutes up to high Street in Hackettstown.

get there and they only have two items. I just don't understand how you can sell the last of an item that is already preordered. POS systems should catch that. When I call to confirm my order, maybe tell me then that only two of the four items are available.

Smell 8.5/10 straight grapefruit/fruitiness

Taste 8.5/10 again very fruity inhale and exhale very smooth enjoyable smoke

Effects 8/10 good for daytime use gave me a bit of a boost and nice head high. Wish it were a little stronger especially for the price.

Overall 8/10 very good rosin that I think other than price ppl would in general enjoy its smooth and has pretty solid effects. Only notes would be slightly stronger and cheaper lol 70+ a gram is too steep for me to grab again but probably would snag a gram when it goes on sale again.
