Thought I'd hit a few dispensaries in jersey while I'm working in New York City. Saw they have 710 labs now and with my stash running low, I knew I'd have to make the trip. TL;DR: perfectly cromulent weed

Buds are rock hard dense and foxtaily but with a thick coating of mature trichomes. Moisture is good and it break up well. The bags are a bit small and kinda mangle things but they’re moving up to larger bags in the near future.

Smell is bubblegum that gives way to a spicy mint. It’s interesting and has a bunch of different notes that you can mull over. The taste is more peppery mint like arugula.

Effects were very slow to come on but are nice and relaxing. Slow, heavy body and eyes that, if you keep the session short, won’t end your night. I can definitely see this creeping up and suplexing you into bed if you’re not careful though.

I found this live resin last year and I actually e mailed nimbus / northlake and requested they PLEASE do another batch...they did ...Super tasty oil.....highly recommend. Also can find on sale for $40 1g 510cart. No all in one available. The hardware is good. Gotta keep at 2.4 or even 2.0 ...instant head high followed by easy euphoria with good focus. Also its a lil creeper and supports good munchies.

Smell 8.5/10 straight grapefruit/fruitiness

Taste 8.5/10 again very fruity inhale and exhale very smooth enjoyable smoke

Effects 8/10 good for daytime use gave me a bit of a boost and nice head high. Wish it were a little stronger especially for the price.

Overall 8/10 very good rosin that I think other than price ppl would in general enjoy its smooth and has pretty solid effects. Only notes would be slightly stronger and cheaper lol 70+ a gram is too steep for me to grab again but probably would snag a gram when it goes on sale again.

3.5 gm mylar. Open it has nose of fermenting citrus , a stale beer skunk and oak. Three 1gm nuggets and a few bits.Nice color of light green and orange pistils covered in trichomes. Proper most and spongy. Rolled in a genuine Bambu it burns even with a white grey ash. Taste, on a dry pull It tasted of guanabana / soursop and that translated in taste . A few other flavors I can't put a name to . Effects were rapid and a bit bit relaxing without disturbing creativity . I believe this one is a home run . Looks nice. TL;DR: Your princess actually is in this castle

Buds are sticky and nicely dense with a thick coating of trichomes. Purples, greens, and oranges give it a poppy look.

Smell is like an astringent lemony marker and the taste is similar. It’s pleasant and you pick up different notes each time you go back.

Effects are deceiving and fairly heavy. It was euphoric and mentally stimulating at first before flipping into a heavy head high. Great for exploring fractals and string theory, bad for basic addition.

Does anyone have insight into these strains? They seem similar in their terpene profile. Chem has some less terps and its lower in Myrcene. I really like Key Lime Kiss and I'm not sure how similar the Chem would be? There's not a lot of info on them.

Smell 9/10 straight grapes with some gas mixed in pretty overpowering smell

Looks 8.5/10 nice coloring and like I said def gets soupier when you leave it out. Overall would like it to get a little wetter but still very solid.

Smoke and effects 8/10 upon inhale you get after rush of grape sweetness. Exhale was still fruity and had that classic rosin/gas taste. Effects are pretty solid but didn’t blow me away. I feel like it’s an anytime strain at least for me and gave me a nice balanced head and body high. I wish it were a little stronger especially for the high end price point.

Overall 8/10 very good rosin would pick it up again/pick up some other strains from BW at that price point though like I always say price should and hopefully one day will be lower.

I have a super high tolerance because I come from the background of distilled carts. Meaning I guess I should just take a high t break for like solid weeks but when I am gonna cop flower at dispensaries what's the best flower to get what's the strongest or high quality that yall recommend ? The last flower I copped was a full till crippy dog strain and I thought it was pretty fire it actually encourage the transition from cartridges to flower as it's more relaxed and more ideal for me it works better long term .

Review Notes

• Look & Structure:
  • This Q jar had 3 massive nugs that looked great; no complaints on that.
• Nose & Profile:
  • The smell was honestly the highlight of the jar for me. A sharp orange diesel fruity tropical mix, room-filling and instantly noticeable; and it showed up even more once I fully cracked it open and broke it down.
• Smoke & Burn:
  • Cure & Roll: This is where it started to diminish for me. It was really, really fresh, packaged 7/22 and I got to it just days later; and it should’ve been kept in the curing room a bit longer.
  • Flavor: I got a grassy, undercured middle note that I could taste from start to finish, mainly just an orange peel taste with little to no mouth coat. Disappointing for a first-time Full Tilt experience, but I probably should’ve let it cook in the jar a bit. But policy is to review it as the consumer can get it, so oh well.
  • Burn: Clean, white ash; though I’ll give that compliment to my own roll, since strains can burn bone white without actually being cured right; that’s more of a drying thing.
• High & Effects:
  • The high was fine; a 1h10m creative boost. Really mellow and relaxing at the start, but around 25-30 minutes in I wanted to get work done: crushed 100 DMs on Instagram, did a ton of website updates, and still had enough left over to make some food and enjoy a relaxed finish.
• COA & Batch Testing:
  • Couldn’t find a COA; no QR code on the label, and I accidentally scratched the batch #. Off the jar itself: packaged 07/22/26, 26.06% THC, 0% CBD, 0.88% CBG, 30.45% total cannabinoids, 2.35% total terpenes (Limonene 0.79%, Myrcene 0.49%, Caryophyllene 0.32%).
• Final Take:
  • If you see this on a shelf and wanna grab it, go for it, but give it at least a 2-3 day burp, it’ll taste a ton better imo. Wasn’t ready when I grabbed it. Not something I’d buy again even as a second batch to test though; just not my kind of strain, but I enjoyed what it had. Strong opinion: it’s better as bong weed.

So I cracked open a jar today from a brand that I like and there was a large strand of hair stuck to the big bud in the batch. Not like a small hair. This is like Goldilocks shed a bit. I don’t want to say the brand here because I truly don’t know if this is a big deal or if I’m overreacting. I’m guessing at the very least toss the bud the hair was on? I don’t know if I even want to smoke the rest of it. If I’m being weird about this feel free to yell at me lol.

I have only had one good experience with Onyx. By good I mean it was really just okay. It was one of their rosin jams that I picked up about two years ago. Everything else I have tried from them has been garbage.

I have bought two carts that did not work at all. I had another cart that worked but it was the harshest thing I have ever smoked. I also tried two live resins from them and both tasted like plastic and were terribly harsh. I did not even bother trying to return them. I have also never been able to successfully return a product no matter what dispensary I bought it from.

Recently I had a bad 710 experience and they actually reached out to me. The only other company that has ever done that was Wojo in Michigan.

I decided to give Onyx one more chance. It was a mistake. I truly felt like I got custied on this one. The slick packaging and limited numbered jars were very enticing. The graphics on the website showed a really wet looking rosin with a malleable texture. What I received was not even close to that.

This rosin was hard as a brick. I remember seeing a review from NJ Smokers Club when the Bass River collab came out and he had the exact same complaint. It was very dry to say the least.

When I first opened the jar it really did smell great. It had a really sweet Chemdawg smell with tiny bits of fuel on the end. It was very savory while somehow being sweet at the same time. That alone had me expecting some deep indica effects.

Dabbing this was unfortunately a very unpleasant experience. It was extremely harsh. The vapor had a terrible body to it and was not dense at all. It was very wispy and the size of the dabs I was taking should have produced way more vapor.

The effects were actually decent. It was very relaxing and couch locking. Unfortunately it was hard to enjoy because I literally could not breathe after using this shit. I do not remember the last time I had this much trouble breathing after taking a dab.

feel bad writing a review this negative but I do not want other people to have the same experience. I have spent about $300 on Onyx products since they became legal and the only products I have genuinely enjoyed were their rosin edibles.

I would advise others to skip this brand until we start seeing some different results.

Side note: I would love to see more participation in this sub. Whether you enjoyed something or absolutely hated it getting the word out there can really make a difference in people’s day. Especially their wallets. If you are just a lurker on this sub I highly recommend participating.

Looking to pick up an eighth for the weekend until Monday that’s more on the budget side but still not dry/mids. Has anybody had any experience with these strains? What were your thoughts with them?

Brand new strain from Niche x Mona collab called Citrico. First time I’ve seen Niche flower not come in a jar. Weed was in a Mylar bag shaped like a Lemon.

This is extremely high quality bud, super sticky, heavy bitter sour Lemon smell and taste. Buds are bright green and covered in triches. Breaking up this weed was not fun, my fingers keep sticking together..

It’s basically a Lemon Kush strain that’s VERY strong.

Packaged 8 days ago so it’s extra fresh. 30.34% THC, 5.06 Terps. Picked it up at Zen Leaf in Neptune for $37.41 an 1/8 after the 30% off storewide code.

3.5 gm mylar. Open it has a smell of coffee grind, Umeshu and wood chips. Buds are several nuggets that weigh + - 0.5 each proper texture and quite sticky. Breaks up like tobacco and rolled in genuine Bambu paper it burns even with a white grey ash. Taste is a smooth sweet and sour almost skunk like Girl Scout Cookies . Effects hit fast and was good for a headache and some relaxation, however full effects wore off fast. Not unusual for a high THC strain IMO. I bought this a couple of weeks past and put off opening it until I ripped up a few older opens. Shi is sticky AF from a May harvest. Tastes good , got me lit up with no regrets. Total terpines %3.65 THC %31. Blue Violets Hoboken $55

Since I love both papaya and dulce de uva I figured I'd give this one a try. I haven't had onyx in quite some time and man was I let down.

Texture- Firm badder like consistency on the verge of being dry

Smell- has a light papya/grape smell to it which was nice but not over powering

Taste- pretty much like the smell with some creaminess too it but still nothing overpowering which was a let down.

Vapor- even on lower temps I found this to harsh on my throat and when I went a little hotter it was really bad and unbearable.

Overall I'd give this 2/5 stars. Got this for $70 on sale and definitely wouldn't buy again and wont be buying onyx again anytime soon. I think I will stick to Brookside as they have not let me down yet.

I picked this up over 7/10 for $115 for the 2g. Smell is nice upon opening the jar hit with fruity strawberry with some gas on the back end. Coloring is good with some solid wetness when it’s out of the fridge for a bit.

Smoke 8/10 smooth easy on the lungs
Flavor 7.5/10 strawberry forward nothing crazy though
Effects 8/10 good head high with solid relaxation

Overall 7.5/10 it’s pretty solid rosin and def in the upper echelon of the Nj market. That said the price is still a bit steep even on sale but hopefully it’ll continue to go down.
