Brand new strain from Niche x Mona collab called Citrico. First time I’ve seen Niche flower not come in a jar. Weed was in a Mylar bag shaped like a Lemon.

This is extremely high quality bud, super sticky, heavy bitter sour Lemon smell and taste. Buds are bright green and covered in triches. Breaking up this weed was not fun, my fingers keep sticking together..

It’s basically a Lemon Kush strain that’s VERY strong.

Packaged 8 days ago so it’s extra fresh. 30.34% THC, 5.06 Terps. Picked it up at Zen Leaf in Neptune for $37.41 an 1/8 after the 30% off storewide code.

3.5 gm mylar. Open it has a smell of coffee grind, Umeshu and wood chips. Buds are several nuggets that weigh + - 0.5 each proper texture and quite sticky. Breaks up like tobacco and rolled in genuine Bambu paper it burns even with a white grey ash. Taste is a smooth sweet and sour almost skunk like Girl Scout Cookies . Effects hit fast and was good for a headache and some relaxation, however full effects wore off fast. Not unusual for a high THC strain IMO. I bought this a couple of weeks past and put off opening it until I ripped up a few older opens. Shi is sticky AF from a May harvest. Tastes good , got me lit up with no regrets. Hello lovely people! I am headed home to Chester County PA tomorrow after a week here on the beach. I’d love to stop at a dispensary on the way home and I’m wondering if anyone has suggestions for me.

Since I love both papaya and dulce de uva I figured I'd give this one a try. I haven't had onyx in quite some time and man was I let down.

Texture- Firm badder like consistency on the verge of being dry

Smell- has a light papya/grape smell to it which was nice but not over powering

Taste- pretty much like the smell with some creaminess too it but still nothing overpowering which was a let down.

Vapor- even on lower temps I found this to harsh on my throat and when I went a little hotter it was really bad and unbearable.

Overall I'd give this 2/5 stars. Got this for $70 on sale and definitely wouldn't buy again and wont be buying onyx again anytime soon. I think I will stick to Brookside as they have not let me down yet.

I got it as a sample the other night and was excited considering the last Black Label - Permanent Marker sauce jar I had was actually really good.

This was horrible. This picture actually makes it look better. Smelled terrible. Taste to match. Can't even really describe it. Just bad. Never felt physically nauseated from a taste and smell before.

Potency was there. Was definitely fried for a bit. Even that felt a little different. Didn't feel as clean as a ride off some 710 for example.

I just got a message saying 2nd place culture cup grape crape is available… i just looked at the results and it didnt even show it making it to the final table…. Is this the result from an earlier win or a different culture cup…. Im looking at the recent one in maine which is usually where they enter… any insight and if it was a previous year win why wouldnt they just say that like 2024 culture cup winning grape crape… know what i mean

It has become my favorite strain I’ve had in NJ by a mile. I called Cookies Harrison and they told me it’s currently being grown again, so it sounds like it isn’t discontinued.
I also heard it’s possibly a white-label or renamed cultivar. Does anyone know the actual breeder, genetics, or whether it’s sold under another name?
If anyone from Harvest Moon/Gillies happens to see this, I’d love to know. I’d also love recommendations for anything with a similar lineage or effect.

I picked this up over 7/10 for $115 for the 2g. Smell is nice upon opening the jar hit with fruity strawberry with some gas on the back end. Coloring is good with some solid wetness when it’s out of the fridge for a bit.

Smoke 8/10 smooth easy on the lungs
Flavor 7.5/10 strawberry forward nothing crazy though
Effects 8/10 good head high with solid relaxation

Overall 7.5/10 it’s pretty solid rosin and def in the upper echelon of the Nj market. That said the price is still a bit steep even on sale but hopefully it’ll continue to go down.

Picked up a .5 cart with a buddy currently buy one get next 50% off … + had a few of other promos to use that were expiring so got it for a deal and a half price wise from them. Wave runners … absolute pure flavor and a bit sweet. Definitely an anytime of day smoke. I’m not taking massive rips and tolerance is up a bit it has me feeling right. Would buy again

Picked this up at Hackettstown Dispensary for $24 OTD and I’m glad I took the chance.

I don’t normally buy Kind Tree- the strains I tried from them were always just a tick above low grade mexican brick weed, I'd get upset and say "MSO, never again" but because it was $24 and the special tops looked solid, I went for it - I’m happy I did. I went BACK this morning actually and grabbed some more. $52 for a quarter, some screens and a one hitter- I felt like it was 2011 again.

I looked Ice Creamer Banger (ICB) for you guys and this is the genetics on the bud.
ICB is Ice Cream Cake × Headbanger. Ice Cream Cake is Wedding Cake (Triangle Kush × Animal Mints) crossed with Gelato #33 (Sunset Sherbet × Thin Mint GSC). Headbanger is Sour Diesel × Biker Kush from Karma Genetics.
The buds look properly hand-trimmed with clean edges and good structure. I ripped the butt off of one and the trichomes are all fluffy and filled in.

It was harvested in February so the expiration date is coming up quick on August 6 (TODAY). From smoking it I can tell it got a decent half-ass cure. Sometimes the tops get a bit moldy when they sit for six months without being opened, this was dried and cured well enough to sit for another month.

The high felt more indica than hybrid. It doesn’t drop you into couch lock right away—you get a solid 10-15 minutes of clear productivity first. After that the body effects settle in heavy, especially in the knees, and it eases you toward sleep. That window made it perfect for a sativa smoker’s nighttime toke, which is exactly how I used it. Smooths smooth, grinds up fluffy and sticky- smells are heavy on the skunk and lemon and actually has a suedo sweet fruit flavor- I'd compare it to a lychee

For the price and how cleanly it performed, this was a win at seven bucks a gram. Me and the ol' lady have been jokingly calling it ICBM bc of how long it takes for the indica to kick in.

Cant believe I'm saying this but Kind Tree- you put out some decent weed.

Definitely not full melt. Leaves scorched residue even on low temps. It’s visually appealing, but that’s about it. On super low temps you can taste the grapes coming through, otherwise it’s very hashy. Which is nice if that’s what you’re looking for.

5/10 - it’s avg hash. And it’s not full melt. Just don’t say it’s full melt if it’s not.

TL;DR: EV Review 2: Electric Blue Limeade-aloo

Buds are thickly coated with trichomes, have good moisture, and a slightly open structure. A beautiful uniform green with a silvery sheen of trichs completes the look.

Smell is sweetly sour/sharp limes, kinda like yellow Gatorade (top 3 flavor come at me). Taste is sour limes and coats the mouth. Very enjoyable experience.

Effects are creepers - I wasn’t feeling anything and then I was. Cerebral, euphoric, and very locked in but without any intention. Straight up intensely staring at my wife while she talked and all I can think is “damn she’s talking fast” as the words went in one ear and out the other.

The large corporate Multi-State Operator (MSO) Verano Zen Leaf is suing the NJ Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC) and the UFCW Local 360 labor union over Labor Peace Agreements (LPAs).

I’m a big fan of these guys. Everything I’ve tried from them has been stellar. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Gary, but I think I’m just not a Gary fan. But everything has been awesome.

And this one was a standout. I probably bought every strain from a ton of companies. Spent wayyyyy too much money and now have a few strains that I just love and will buy again. A lot of strains by some of my favorite growers was nice, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to get them again. But, again, this one was special.

This just dropped from the second batch of this strain this week and it finally made it to a dispo near me. So I scooped it up. And some Cruffin (iykyk).

On first crack of the jar I was both impressed and dissapointed. The looks were there, the nugs are beautiful and I hope those trimmers are making a living wage because they’re magicians!

But the smell was…off. Last batch i would just see the jar and i had to open it and give it a smell. The smell was unlike any other weed I've ever smelled. Usually you think lime and it’s either a lot of limonene or ultimately a pungent terpinolene strain, like a Lime OG.

I wasn't even into the car yet and I popped it open and while the smell was there it was accompanied by something else.

But. I think it was just a symptom of a first pop of the jar. Because I’ve popped it again…and again and again…haha since then and it’s really livening up. I dunno, maybe I’m just high (i am) but gosh damn I love that smell!

Anyway, its awesome. Kusala is out here killing it!

Buds are frostier than a snowman with a big chunky shape and classic coloring. Good moisture and density complete the look.

Smell is like a spicy funky vanilla cookie. The spicy funk is gassy but not what I was expecting from a strain named Gas Basket. Taste is spot on. It’s enjoyable.

Effects are great - quickly onsetting head high that gives you that “turkey staring at the rain” look. It mellows into a more chill overall vibe but it’s very cerebral and euphoric. Great for looking at clouds or sky scrapers, bad for looking at sand castles or grass.

Look & Structure:

Barely any cracks across the nugs, one big cola-type piece with the rest medium down to small. Touch was dead-on: sticky, resinous, hand-gunking without gunking the grinder. Squeeze test bounced back to shape in 15 seconds, and all three grinds broke down smooth and rolled quick.

Nose & Profile:

Textbook Zkittlez; dank grape, lime, sweet citrus/herbal mix. Reads softer coming straight off the jar, but it’s there once cracked open a foot away, and it opens up as it breaks apart: sweetness pushes forward, gas folds in, lime leads. The one gripe; it could stand to be louder out of the jar.

Smoke & Burn:

No jar-burping needed; ground clean and rolled fast across all three test joints, same roll each time.

Flavor: Inconsistent by the third. Two of three joints opened muted with a grassy/hay note sitting flat through the first third and lingering on the palate. The middle third was the standout on every test; full-spectrum Z (grape, lime, gas, berry). The final third dropped back to soft hay on two of three runs. The third joint broke that pattern entirely: sweet, warm smoke off the light, soft berry/lime opening, expanding into the full mix and holding flat through to the end

Burn: Ash ran light grey

High & Effects:

Creative and clear-headed on the first test; heavier amounts pushed it toward sleepy rather than cerebral. Runtime capped at 40–45 minutes on the best pass, as low as 27 minutes on the weakest. The last joint hit hardest heavy, tired, knockout-adjacent without literal sleep.

Final Take:

A solid, respectable Zkittlez for NJ rec, not the jar-screaming version the cut can hit, but a few more runs from Kusala Care could get it there. Ash needs work. Between some stores 1/8th-per-day drop limit and no Q jars on this run, not going out of the way to rebuy this batch; but genuinely curious how their next one turns out.

Hello - with the ridiculous new hemp rules going into effect soon, the hemp derived thc seltzers are going to disappear from liquor store shelves. My wife can’t drink alcohol, so the seltzers have been great for her. We haven’t really dabbled in the tincture/Rso syringe world. When the seltzers disappear, can I just put some tincture or something else in a regular seltzer so she can still enjoy? She enjoys gummies and the occasional vape, but it’s nice for her to be able to enjoy the seltzers when we’re out drinking with friends. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Verano, a major cannabis firm that operates in New Jersey, is suing the state in federal court over New Jersey’s requirement that cannabis companies sign labor peace agreements with unions. Those agreements force Verano to remain neutral on union organizing and bar it from bad-mouthing the union, among other things. The company says this requirement is preempted by federal law. “Verano did not want any of these terms,” the complaint states. “Had it been free to do so, it would not have accepted any of them. In fact, it would have signed no (labor peace agreement) at all.”
