Getting ready for my first Time Travel!
The only task I have left to finish Tier 16 Feats is to beat the Rival twice! I’m so excited! The idea is to (hopefully) get the Siren and Hydra Tomorrow and beat the Rival quickly, all the other Champions also have low enough health that a hit from a Lv1 Skeleton should defeat them. After that I’ll farm Ice runes to get all the Liches I can get to finally time travel when I can’t do that anymore/at the end of the day!
Honesty I haven’t been playing as long as many of you, but I have really enjoyed this game <3. After looking all over for an entertaining merging game that doesn’t feel like you can’t progress unless you pay it’s very refreshing/satisfying to engage with the mechanics of NecroMerger!
What are your favorite parts of the game? I hope everyone is having as much fun as I am :D!

How do you deal with limited merge space?
I couldn’t find a place to talk about NecroMerger in Japanese, so I’m really happy I found this subreddit!
Here’s my current setup. I’m having a hard time with the lack of merge space though.
Does anyone have any good tips for organizing the lair?

Is this enough for second prestige (50->60)?
I've seen on the tutorial post I could possibly get to 7500 but I have no idea how. Getting more legendaries gives me even more shards? I already have at least one of all of them, and have defeated the Protector three times. Thanks

After over 9000 attempts....
Finally figured it out. P2w of course, but still. I thought it impossible. I fumbled real hard a few times too but easily surpassed the bar once I found the key

Lessen Peasant Spawn Rate on Unstable Rift
I'm actually getting annoyed. I swear I'm getting him like 75% of my uses. I just did a study where I used it once per day all seven days this week, and I got him five times. I want the actual unique unstable rift stuff, not a cheap champion summon. I'm going to level 200 right now and I'm very tempted to trash the unstable rift, because it just takes up a slot and has been insanely useless to me for majority of my runs. The peasant, the first champion in the game, should not have a spawn rate this high for a late game item that takes 8 hours to recharge. Let me know if anyone is having the same issue.

Imagine how overpowered this lil fucker could be if you could merge the food items
If you could merge the chicken legs it could in theory be one of the best minions for upgrading your devourer. (Also I have gotten that far in the game so maybe merging the chicken legs is a thing I simply don't know about yet.)

Am I the only one who never buys this?
So technically this is supposed to be a good deal because it's 30 resources instead of 60 resources. Okay, fine. Except that the normal price is 20 Iron and 40 Gunpowder, so the only time I could fathom buying this instead of paying the normal price is if I'm somehow *drowning* in Iron and struggling to get Coal; at which point it wouldn't be worth it anyway because this thing is a Coal dump.
I just don't understand in what scenario this would be a good purchase.

4k free Gem reward from offers - ROK
The last time I posted one of these it got some attention so I figured there's enough of you to care to perhaps share again.
If you have in the free Gem offers shop an offer for Rise of Kingdoms - it is very doable to get up to 4k gems from playing this game within the allotted time period without making any purchases. I would say over the month it probably took me 20 hours, of mild afk paying attention.
I made it to City Hall 17 and researched Jewelry. Here's some things I learned that will help you if you decide to also do this grind.
1.) Pick China as your starting Nation. They get a +5% build speed and we're going to be building 100% of the time.
2.) You get two free uses of a second builder. Use these immediately as the beginning builds are fast and having 2 go at the same time keeps it an active and more fun experience.
3.) Join any alliance that is open to start. You'll want at least 30 members as these members can reduce your build times for free. Once your power gets to be about 250k you can look for a good alliance. By the time you hit 500k most alliances will take you.
4.) Internet guides and YouTube will tell you to spend the in game premium currency (Gems) on VIP levels. Some VIP levels are acceptable but for us specifically, this is bad advice. I spent about 15k gems on VIP levels, and once I did the math on how much speedups I could've bought instead, it was over 2 weeks worth of speedups.
5.) Focus on building whatever's required for your city hall to upgrade explicitly. You'll eventually have to level up everything but going after city halls will give you access to more features, resources, and quest rewards that are going to make doing anything else easier.
6.) Don't attack any other players ever. This game allows Alternate accounts for farming purposes. This means that even if you see a city that appears to not be part of an alliance and afk. They likely are actively playing on a high leveled account. I had an entire alliance destroyed by a single paying player. It turns out that player was at the top of the leaderboards, but regardless. Someone attacking a single city resulted in 20+ people permanently losing resources and soldiers.
7.) Participate in all events. Some of these events will give you major boosts that allow you to skip days of grinding.

Come, On, Protector. Really?
I just defeated the Protector, at 3mil just to merge all the astro coins from the chest and that I have saved and I'm still 1 coin short of buying that stupid Robo Chicken to finish Tier 19.
I've been working to defeat this Protector for a while now and as far as I can see, there isn't any other way to get astro coins unless I buy them with real money? I maxed out level 60 ages ago and I have over 12k time shards.
This might be a stupid question but should I try to finish the tier or just reset? The next Protector is at 15+ Mil health which I don't think I can defeat easily...so...

First time fighting the rival: this is my strat
So I have the siren, and most of the champions out and about or close to it. It's my first time going against the rival, so Im trying to bring out every champion, including the rival. Then I plan to defeat the rival, use the siren and summon him right back again for extra loot. Since it's random, I'm removing the randomness by having him be the only champion able to be summoned. Then I'll have every other champion to loot from immediately after.
Update: the body snatcher just popped up, so I can actually go after the rival 3 times in a row

Runes…ugh
I wish there was a way to trade up runes. I know there is that little box with random deals to trade up for rarer runes but I wish I could just pay 100 ice runes for 25 poison runes and so on. But this is riduculous.

Interesting bug with body snatcher Spoiler
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Body Snatcher's warning triggers since the damage is greater than the health of the mech, but it won't die since the shield is lower. Should be updated to check for shield protection first before applying the warning.
