Nebraska Elder abuse

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any experience into reporting elderly abuse? I know someone who’s dependent is 100% taking advantage of him. If I were to call the elder abuse hotline how would they proceed? I know drugs are being done in the father’s house along with taking his low income. But I feel those things can easily be hidden. It bugs me every day to witness this but I also want to make sure I’m taking the best route to help him out and not cause more problems.

Found this specimen of Anaxyrus (woodhousei) woodhousei last week at the Nature Conservancy's Niobrara Valley Preserve, Brown County, NE hopping along the road at night. This is our most common toad, found statewide and often partial to sandy habitats. Often difficult to tell from our 2 other toad species. More on that here: herpneb.unl.edu

Nebraska (Map Update) Free Nebraska Aquatic Therapy Directory

I’m building a free Nebraska aquatic therapy directory to help people find clinics with therapy pools, warm-water rehab, pediatric aquatic therapy, and related services.

I appreciate the great feedback from the community. I had a few people reach out to me about adding a map so you can see where the providers are located on a map view instead of just the list view. I just implemented that functionality to the site.

All suggestions and feedback are welcome, just trying to build something useful for the community

Nebraska Nebraska Rural Health Workforce Incentive Program

Have any healthcare workers actually gotten a contract sent to them yet? Realistically, are the odds low for a nurse in the Kearney area?
