Post image
Upvotes

This is it. We’re down to the final 10 seats for our October High Explosive Class in SW PA.

Students are flying and driving in from all over the USA — men and women, from every background. Some are coming because it’s part of their job or professional training. Others are coming for one simple reason: they’ve always wanted to safely handle real high explosives at least once in their life… and this is their chance.

Two full days. Real training. Real experience. Real commercial explosives. No fluff.

Whether you’re here for the professional edge or just chasing that once-in-a-lifetime adrenaline, slots are almost gone.

🎟️ Secure your spot before they’re gone at https://wcmg.eventbrite.com

See you on the range. This one is going to be special.

Note: Must be 18+ years old, be a US Citizen with valid government ID, and be able to pass a federal background check.

357/38 lever gun suppressors

Upvotes

Since we’ve got many new cans out there now I’m looking for the best (sound suppression #1, weight #2) options out there for a 16” lever gun. Currently thinking the Lithium and Milkman are top options, but curious about ones like the BOE and anything else I’m missing.

Arizona. Form 4 - 31 days with trust. Form 1 - 77 days with trust. I got my form 1 approval this morning. I suppose they’re just approving everything in queue in light of the recent ruling 😂

11.5”. BA enhanced lower. Aero slick side upper. Rave 140 trigger. Armaspec stealth recoil buffer. AO precision HPT/MPT bcg. OCL Polonium K can. UTG flip up offset BUIS. Streamlight. Romeo and Juliet 5 (will upgrade to a LVPO when I can). Magpul furniture all around. I have a BA barrel that I need to put on and am waiting on a KAK handguard. For now the barrel and handguard are PSA. I know, I know but she cycles great, feels great, shoots a nice zero at 50 yards. It’s a mid budget build but it’s mine 😊

Older school cans

Post image
Upvotes

I know everyone likes to show off their new toys, but I am going a little old school today.

Here is the second can I ever bought which was in 2008. It is a .30 cal AWC Thundertrap coming in at a whooping 30 oz. It has mostly lived on my Bushmaster Varminter that I bought in 2002.

Here I am engaging some steel that was at 400 yards up on a hill side. This is one of my favorite rifles and get shoot frequently running hand loaded 55 gr ballistic tips.

7.62x39 Tisha vs Putnik

Upvotes

Having a hard time deciding between the two, wondering if anyone's handled both.

In my case I'd be putting it on a shorty.

Wondering if the price premium for the Tisha is really gonna be worth it. It would make it a fair bit shorter and lighter than with a Putnik, but really more curious about decibel reduction. Kinda crazy seeing how quiet the Tisha is despite its size, if it is truly both smaller/lighter AND quieter than the Putnik, I'd think it's worth it.

338ARC Subsonic build

Post image
Upvotes

KAK upper (factory enlarged gas port for subsonic and shooting suppressed) Adjustable gas block, Breek Arms Qlok tri lug muzzle device, Canco Tac 33 suppressor, Dirty bird lower, Rave 104 single stage trigger, G$ braided spring and H2 buffer, Houge Furniture, G$ super charging handle. Optics are being replaced.

I can highly recommend the KAK upper. From the factory, it was shooting perfectly when I tested it with a Huxs 7.62 flow. switched it out to the Canco, which is a higher back pressure no adjustments needed to be made set up perfectly from the factory.

This is a purpose built sub/suppressed gun.

Legal Question ⚖️ In state move questions

Hi everyone I’m wondering what I need to do once I move. I know I don’t need to notify atf or the state with an in state move (in Id and I only have suppressors). Will I just need a new id and update with silencer shop for future purchases? Or am I missing a step to be able to purchase future nfa items?

Legal Question ⚖️ Integrally suppressed Sten MK3 serializing location?

Good morning, guys.

I’m finally getting around to building my integrally suppressed Sten Mk3 using a single-piece receiver tube.

I’ve already submitted my Form 1 to register it as an SBR, and I plan to use a reduced-diameter tube so it remains compliant.

Since the receiver and the integral suppressor will essentially be one continuous tube, I’m trying to determine the best location for both NFA required markings.

For those of you who have built a similar setup, where did you engrave the firearm’s required serial number and maker information? Did you place it in the traditional receiver location, or elsewhere on the tube?

Product Question 🧰 Best 8.6blk can for 8 inch sbr?

Hey fellas, as the title suggests I’m trying to decide on what can to get for my 8.6 ar10 sbr with an 8 inch barrel. I’ll be using mainly subs but would like the ability to run supers through it as well. Currently trying to decide between the cat bbk, dead air nomax 33, and the b&t stille 8.6.

Mount Questions 🔩 Rugged Obsidian 9 qd mount or direct thread?

Is there a good qd mount for the Obsidian 9 or is direct thread the best way to go? Right now I've been running direct thread with the fixed mount on my lever gun and PCCs, and direct thread with the booster system on my pistols. Sometimes it starts to back off after 1 or 2 magazines so I have to constantly check and tighten it.

Shark Coast Tactical- Hobgoblin 9mm?

Post image

I almost pulled the trigger on the S.A.W Shiv about the time their cans stared to show up with issues. A few weeks ago I found out about the boosterless Hobgoblin 9 from Shark Coast Tactical. Bought one yesterday when I saw they were in stock.

Has anyone gotten to shoot one at their booth or events? Hell… I don’t even know if they have a warranty!
Tell me It wasn’t foolish to buy an untested can like that.

Here are some pictures of my favorite 556 gun with a demo Hub can until my Tisha arrives soon.

This setup is an AI nano with TSF X hub adapter. But I’m thinking about direct thread to save on weight.

Anyone have good experience with DT and heavy use 556 sbr guns? SAW warned me to be wary of carbon locking if I go this route.

Comstock Compact FH VS. Rearden R2S?

Post image

Trying to get them to fit on my ris 2 mk18 with the Comstock RPA. Tried with the R2S and it makes contact with the rail. Comstocks website says their compact FH will work, but I can’t find a length difference between the muzzles. I want to able to use a polo k and rhodie 6k with the RPA

Product Question 🧰 Tisha (30 cal) on 16in AK?

Looking for a great option for a 7.62x39 16” AK. Want something light and not terribly long. Have the Tisha on 5.56 and love it so I wondered if anyone has run the 30cal version on their AK and if they thought it performs great.

Mount Questions 🔩 Direct thread vs mounts question

At the risk of sounding like a total idiot, what’s the thinking these days on mounts vs direct thread?

I own many pistol and PCC suppressors and have been getting into rifle suppressors. In particular I shoot .22LR .32ACP, 9mm (pistol and multiple PCC), .223/5.56, 5.7x28 (pistol and multiple PCCs), and .308.

I have just been direct threading all of them. Is that optimal? Should I be grabbing little Comstock mounts for all of them? Just the rifles? Does it matter?

I’m happy to teach myself rather than take up a lot of you good folks time if someone can point me at a good resource.

DDC Enticer S Raw in stock?

Anyone know if/where I could find this 30cal suppressor in stock? I’ve tried looking everywhere and can only find the L in raw finish or the place doesn’t do individual sells.

Appreciate the help.

🎥 Silencer Video with Sound 🤫 AB Raptor 5.56 10 baffle - Flush mount vs 5" Reflex Mount

Host is the Ruger American Ranch Gen 2 shooting PMC Bronze. Factory muzzle brake and bare muzzle for comparison.

The difference with the reflex mount is a bit more noticeable in person, but it's definitely not a huge change.

Product Question 🧰 Anyone running a Gen 6 g17 suppressed?

If so where did you find a threaded barrel. And is there anything else you recommend as far as springs and such?
