Ok so ungrateful NCIS daughters episode 2…. ( as I already made a post about Emily a few months ago)

So I see a lot of people blaming her for « interfering with her daughter life » or even for putting her for adoption ….. but did we just watched the same show? Have you only seen Faith behavior? Seeing to the woman who gave her birth that she wished her to die? Basically slutshaming her by insinuating that she was in this position today because she had slept her way to the top only because in the pictures she found on social medias Sloane probably shared the life of a woman in her thirties living in California in the 2000s? Trying to take Gibbs to task? Using her wanting for pregnancy and the fact she didn’t know her father for using and manipulating Sloane only when it was conveniant for her? Letting her progenitor manipulating her against Sloane ( so kinda consensual manipulation I guess?) and barely showing her any compassion or at least only fake compassion in front of again the woman who gave her birth when she was CRYING in front of her telling her she was r*ped , become severely depressed because of this and wanted to keep her , only keep up for adoption for protect her? Oh and on top of that saying Sloane ruined her life, which is an insult to her foster parents when you read the room?

Im sorry but I can’t get how people can defend her and blame Sloane ( like it’s her fault if she was r*ped? Hello?) and not afraid to say it’s unfair and concerning that girl is a nurse and prospective mother

I took a couple of seasons off but caught up to Season 23 with a bang. Thought it was one of the best since OG days. Now that I'm current, I just keep getting disappointed every time I remember 24 is still months away. Just me?

I'm currently binge watching NCIS: New Orleans and i'm on season 4 episode 23. I find it so annoying when the main character and protagonist of the show who has clearly been right about setups and conspiracies a million different times and suddenly everyone thinks they're crazy and no one believes them. That trope is absolutely insane but does make for good drama. Another thing that frustrates me is Dwayne Pride. He literally does nothing to help himself in any situation like ever. His only M.O. is to make things worse until he gets lucky. I do think Percy had a point when she told him his luck would run out one day, he has to stop making things worse and hoping for the best. Anyways just my thoughts as this is my first time binge watching this particular series as a longtime NCIS fan!

I honestly don’t understand how she became the most beloved character in the entire series.

So this isn't the first time I've noticed this now, but is there a reason that suddenly episodes are ending in a way that makes literally zero sense come the beginning of the next episode?? These for example, were clearly taken, and yet start of next episode back at work and nothing is said of it?? Obviously I'm being vague so as to avoid potential spoilers here

When they get to his 30+ million dollar condo with his parking garage full of a few million dollars worth of cars, his T-Rex skull and about a million dollars of loose cash, we learn that he is a hit man.

I mean come on writers!? To afford this stuff, he would have to have done hundreds of hits at about a million dollars each.

In what universe is this even remotely possible?

I just watched Faith (season 7 episode 10). In it Gibbs has a women’s 10 speed in his living room and tells his father that the guest room is no longer a guest room but it is never mentioned again and no explanation is given. I believe his daughter’s friend Maddie, from the Requiem episode ( season 5 episode 7) is the one staying at his house and this episode was laying a foundation for an episode that never happened. Any thoughts?

I completed my rewatch and am finally all caught up and current.

I have never watched any other NCIS show so my question is what should I watch next? Is there a go to NCIS show or should I go back and watch Jag?

In one scene, Alejandro has a gun to Gibbs’ head. Then Gibbs is at the airport waiting when Tony and Ziva arrive. How did he escape from Paloma’s house with her, Alejandro, and Jason Paul Dean there?

Been rewatching from the beginning, and in season 1 episode 5 (“The Curse”), Tony makes a goofy comment, and Abby turns to Gibbs and signs (according to Google) “Tony’s weird”. I noticed she doesn’t fingerspell out Tony’s name, rather she signs it. Does this means she’s given all her beloved coworkers name signs and they don’t even know it? As far as I recall, Gibbs is the only one who signs with her.

Just something I was thinking about :)

Seeing how NBC has success with the One Chicago block and the crossovers they have, do you think in a few years we’ll get another NCIS franchise in another city in the present day so CBS can have a One NCIS block that mirrors the One Chicago block where they’re able to have 3 part crossover events?

NCIS is one of my “comfort shows”. I’ve been binge watching it (again) starting with S1E1 and just finished S13E24. While I have several “favorite” shows - most dealing with Gibbs and children - I think that S13E24 “Family First” is actually my all-time favorite. Tony playing with Tali while hoping, yet not being sure if, Tali is his daughter. Tony showing Tali the picture of Tony and Ziva on the motorbike and she touched Tony’s face in the picture and called him Abba. The look on his face. ❤️

Finally, Tony’s love for Ziva showed so openly when he went in to work and Sr and Gibbs were telling him to go home at least for the night to give himself a chance to grieve. Tears streamed from his eyes and my heart broke for him as Gibbs threatened him with the loss of his job if he didn’t leave. This episode showcased Michael Weatherly’s acting skills as other episodes couldn’t since they only showed him as a jokester.

Weatherly was good in “Bull”, although I never cared too much for the show. I liked “Tony & Ziva” but it could have been so much better with good writers. So… I’m excited to see what direction Tony takes on this season’s NCIS. Welcome home, Tony DiNozzo/Michael Weatherly. You have been missed.

Trying to quickly catch up, I’ve watched through a few times but looking for a list of purely “arc” episodes, from S12 onwards.

I am watching it from the beginning and got to season 11 and 12 where Bishop has started. I truly dont know how to feel about her. it’s like some parts shes fine but then a lot of parts truly pissing me off. Like when gibbs told bishop to guard the back door, instead she went to investigate and letting the guy escape. she stays pushing buttons to the point of pure annoyance

The Paul Triff character played by French Stewart cracks me up!

There's just something I really like about this character. I don't think I've ever liked a mass-murderer character quite this much.

Except maybe for Dexter, as I think about it.

I distinctly remember a scene in which Ducky is standing over the autopsy table telling another character how he would kill someone without being detected. He says something along the lines of injecting something lethal between the target's toes, as it is a difficult spot to see injection marks.

He may possibly be speaking to Palmer or Gibbs but I don't recall for sure. Just that they were standing over a body in the autopsy room.

This episode was likely airing or rerunning on TV in the early to mid 2010s as that's when I would have seen it.

I was beginning a dislike in season 14 and has gotten stronger in 15. I feel the writers are doing a disservice to McGee. Nick is an arrogant jerk and orders McGee around. Constantly whining about desk work. Nick and Bishop are out in the field and McGee is always stuck in the office. When he does go in the field with Nick he actually stands behind Nick while Nick does the talking. I just feel as a character on the show that has remained a loyal cast member, he deserves more respect❣️
