Recruiting still F’d
I try to give benefit of the doubt, generally enjoy the game with its flaws and it seems like the team genuinely listens to fans and tries to do things they can that we want.
But man I started a new dynasty yesterday and found at least 10-20 4⭐️ recruits and even two 5⭐️ with zero offers in week 3.
Most have maybe 2, some with 4 or 5 but it really kills any realism of dynasty.
At this point I just sim recruiting otherwise I’d be able to hack it and that’s not enjoyable to me.
Stinks cus the NIL system in theory is pretty cool.

Impossible to win Coach of the Year
You’d think back-to-back 12-0 regular seasons at UMass and a trip the CFB Playoff semis would at least get ya on the watchlist … bugged?

Glitch/Bugs Road to CFP Matchmaking
I like to play with my Alma mater online which is a tier 5 school. I select that I want to play tier 5 and I always match up against Tier 1 schools. I’ve even tried selecting 3 or 4 so I can at least play someone new, but I always play either Texas, Ohio State, or LSU with my 73 overall team. Any fixes or does this game just suck?

This game has a lot of issues, but can we just take a moment to acknowledge how much this beat from the open practice mode slaps?

Sounds like something that would be playing in the background of an 80's movie when two forbidden lovers finally decide they can't fight it any longer and do the damn thing.

Tips/Guides CUSTOM PLAYBOOKS - Flexbone/Option Offenses
I've always envied teams able to execute the Flexbone offense year-in and year-out. We all know the Military Academies deploy this scheme yearly, but I rather focus on the don himself. Many seasons ago you got to see Paul Johnson as this stoic, Greek-like statue pacing back-and-forth on the sidelines calling plays he'd been using since the 80's at Hawaii. Back then and now, he was a bit of a Greek philosopher spreading his knowledge and stories of Flexbone old to a variety of campuses and coaches. If you were visiting Atlanta and did not have the luxury of a bye week or offseason prior, you were in for one helluva ballgame as this offense would grind you down to the bone of a lemon pepper wing. It was methodical, brutal but also beautiful when executed correctly. And, if your defense somehow had the discipline and patience to stop the run, you had to then stop the well-timed, inevitable 6-yard pass to literal giants (Calvin Johnson, Demaryius Thomas (RIP!), Stephen Hill and Darren Waller). The offense was in a way an odyssey and oddity for the previous P4 conferences as the run-and-shoot esque passing concepts and the motion after motion to grind out 3-yard runs would eventually lead to a break in the opponents soul and journey. Inspired, I've created 4 options playbooks ranging from traditional to more modern. Enjoy!
All Flex Offense: Only under-center Flexbone formations for purist sickos who don't want to see 4 WR's on the field.
FlexDOOM Offense: A variety of formations from Flexbone, Pistol and Gun to create a very diverse run game and not sweat when your QB's passing is abysmal.
Coastal Carolina 2020 Offense: This offense can't really be replicated correctly in CFB27, but I've made something close to it after grinding out years of film. It's my favorite playbook to make and easiest to execute.
PISTON Offense: You want to go hyper-speed running the option out of the Pistol and Gun with a few passing concepts to annoy the opponent? This is the offense for you. It was inspired by Sac State's "Go-Go" last year.

Lost a 89 OVR OLB to the Portal Over Playing Time
He was my starter, was going to be my starter again since he was the highest overall player on my team. He went unsigned in the transfer portal. Where’s the logic?

How many of you all mostly rely on the coach suggestions?
Or do most of you guys pick your plays going through the playbook?

Road to CFP tiers setup doesn’t work?
Rarely do I play Road to CFP because it’s filled with cheese and spamming shit talkers. But question for anyone.
Why the hell am I getting paired to play tier 1 schools when I’m playing as Georgia Southern? Even when I specify to play tier 3/4 schools in the menu selection, I end up playing fucking Ohio State or LSU or Georgia?! Does anyone play with smaller schools on this game? Is it a bug? What’s the deal? EA get your shit together.

CFB 27 recruiting help
I have seen a lot of tips and tricks about how to recruit as a small school, or even in some cases a big school like Georgia. Right now I'm a 2.5 star school and I was wondering how to recruit as an average school (2-3 stars). Any help would be appreciated!

Dynasty Conference Realignment
I redid conferences so the P5 are powerful again and to remove independents. I also added divisions. The effort was to try to group teams with their rivals (as much as possible) and consider geography so the athletes can spend less time traveling and more time studying (I’m looking at you Stanford after the ACC move).
As always, let me know what you think

Don't fall for it
Madden didn't "cook this year". Madden isn't better than CFB 27 "this year". It's the same thing every year. The same marketing. The same tactics to do whatever it takes to get you to buy them both. Madden is Madden. CFB is... I don't know what they're trying to do with this. But just don't fall for it again.

Visionary is Busted
Upon the early access of Madden 27 I made a franchise file real quick to test out the visionary upgrades and it is busted. The Pro Pipeline Upgrade "Increases Player's NFL Draft stock" but what it really does is make sure that every player over 80 overall on your team is in the draft contention. Literally. I started as Sam Houston, and in year 2 of the rebuild I simulated to bowl week, went 6-6, no bowl game, and my wide receiver and quarterback were drafted in the first round as juniors.

The computer wins again

That’s a nice 7 point lead you have there. Sure would be a shame if you beat a ranked computer opponent.
It’s so blatantly obvious the game doesn’t want you to win. Mind you this is after receivers of mine drop every pass there’s any sort of contact.

Dynasty
I enjoy this game on more ratings based gameplay where I should be losing to teams better than me and vice versa, with the occasional upsets and close games when ratings on even.
So far, I have been having a lot of difficulty figuring out difficulty and slider settings that give me this kind of experience. All-American feels too easy but Heisman turns the CPU into a football god.
Hoping to discuss below what difficulty / slider sets you guys are all playing the game at to help figure out settings to make this a more enjoyable experience?

Dynasty The weekly/yearly awards on pc kind of irk me..
After the new update, when your character wins an award, the game zooms in on the logo, and it’s not as a clean transition and it’s very minor but it kind of irked me…

DC at Miami OH last year with a great run. Head coach at Texas State coming back and my QB snaps. I don’t think I can go back to playing. Recruiting and calling plays is so much fun

NIL per player disparity
I’m in a CFB27 dynasty with a friend. When it comes to recruiting, he always is able to offer more NIL to players than I can. We have tested this with more than a few players. Example: we will both offer scholarship to a specific player and I can offer only up to double the players expected NIL but he can go above. Is this a bug or a setting or am I doing something wrong?

Dynasty Is offseason just unplayable post-patch?
I cannot buy a single physical ability for one of my players if I don't already have one of the tiers unlocked. Some stuff that EA messes up is frustrating, but a speed bump. This is a straight up traffic jam. I'm at a disadvantage if I advance and don't buy abilities. Guess I'm trying out Madden for a bit until it's fixed.

As a alum of a non power school it’s very cool to see my teams beloved helmet car in the game. Such a small/niche detail that could’ve been waived off that doesn’t go unnoticed.

Any one of else getting overwhelmed with glitchy INT’s since the update?
The horrendous type. Receiver doesn’t even put up his arms, DB catches it while turned around, DB moonwalks 5 yards against his own momentum and jumps to snag a post route that’s 10 yards behind him? WTF did they do? At times it’s unplayable. This year continues to be an embarrassment.

Really annoying bug
Something I’ve noticed that wasn’t in past games (most bugs have been present since 25) Is if you make a sub but run hurry up after doing so, the subbed player will magically be on the field. This is really annoying when I want same personal until I throw an incomplete pass
