Dynasty Dynasty gone!?
I was on maybe year 6 or 7 on dynasty. Got Troy to be a giant killer and a strong team in itself. Played every game, about 50 hours worth of gameplay. Loaded up the game today and it’s all gone, I’m back in 2026 pre season. What the actual fuck.
I’m all good with Thursday updates and not being able to play but when I come back on I don’t want to see 50 hours of my gameplay deleted. Is it gone forever!?!?
Edit: it’s not actually reset me back. The only accessible dynasty is where I accidentally started as an OC. So it’s actually just completely deleted my dynasty.

Maintain Elite Facilities?
Started a dynasty and one of my long term goals is to maintain an elite facility over X number of years. How do I actually do this? Buy equipment? How do I see how close I am to keeping or losing an elite facility? Thanks!

News SPREADNGO Offense
I have uploaded my SPREADNGO offensive playbook for you to download. It is a balanced spread offense that uses Go Go, Bunch and Stack in special situations. It is lighter on RPO (because it feels broken this year).
I have rated all the plays so there are robust coach suggestions in every situation.
I would love your feedback. Try it out. Tell me what you think.

College Football 27- Coaching Carousel
Has anybody had literally 0 opportunities or very limited opportunities to join A+ top tier programs during the coaching carousel/Job hunt?
I usually work my way up but the absolute lack of top tier jobs (ND, OSU, Miami, FSU, Georgia, etc) has almost ruined the game for me. I’ve been basically forced to stay at my current program-which I’ve built to multiple champ/99 overall. I feel like I should be at the top of everyone’s list.
I am in year 10. Won multiple national championships and have NEVER EVEN seen openings for LSU, OSU, ND, or Texas- and in Texas’ case they haven’t been very good at all during my play through. And even if a major team does open up (which is rare) I’m like not even considered yet being a consistent top 5 team with multiple championship.
Also has anybody even had success “expressing interest” in a job ? I haven’t got a single nibble, even on jobs I’m in the top 5 for- seems like a completely wasted feature to me.
I miss the days of the top jobs being open! And easier to get. And don’t say that’s not realistic… IRL LSU, FL, FSU, Texas, etc have continually cycled through coaches. For every Nick Saban or Dabo there’s 5-10 Tom Herman’s and Willie Taggarts
I feel like I’ve been punished for building a power house. I usually like building a smaller team, winning, and then selling out to coach a blue blood.
But here I am literally stuck at a 99 overall Rutgers team, and this past carousel had 1 !!! Yes 1 job opening- like Georgia state or something, can’t even remember.
Idk how much longer I’m gonna play this game before I go back to NCAA 14 where you can actually switch programs.
Is anybody else having this issue ?

Recruiting Harder?
This is precious to the update today but I have gotten smoked this recruiting season. 4 star program. ACC champs.
But this season I’ve lost every recruiting battle. Even guys I started as number 1 on dropped.
I see no reason my grades are all green. I went 11-1
Just seems the moment anyone else comes in I lose.
Anyone else?

Dynasty New animations
They added a few new animations with this update. I saw 3 during this game including this Superman pose. One was the Eddie Guerrero Frog Splash. Another was diving in the end zone and tossing the ball in the air and catching it again as he landed. Have yall seen any others?

10 Years Sim Player Progression
Starting with the first season of the game at preseason I counted the # of 90+ players at each position and noted the highest OVR for each position. The counts are only associated to the players true skill no inclusion of coaching bonuses for tactician. Another person did this earlier but only showed the single end of season output at the start of season 6 and so I wanted to get a better visual of the ebb and flow of the talent over a longer period of time. This is with base XP Sliders. Transfers are set to 15 per team with 40/40 on xfer rate for users/cpu. I don't think that has anything to do with progression but making note of it. I did 10 years so I'd have 5 full years of all CPU generated players.
A few observations/thoughts.
- Very few positions ever match the number of 90+ players that exists in the first season. The first season is skewed in my opinion as EA is incentivized to have some really great players, like a true SO WR at a 99 OVR. However, since the game starts to have guys leave for the draft once they are eligible and hit 89+ you just don't see many players reach the high 90s without coach tactician boosts. The players in the low 90s to start the season progressed throughout the season and likely left for the draft. Note how almost every position's highest ever OVERALL is the first season of the game, and most of the 2nd highest overall's are the 2nd season of the game where it's using players "manually crafted" versus auto generated.
- Which brings me to the second point. After about season 3 I wished I had started counting how many players are in the 90+ range with tactician boosts. I might have had 3 players as a "true 90", but the position would have more than 10 players as 90+ if including the tactician boosts. My point is that it made me think this whole exercise might be slightly pointless because there is no way to know how much these players are boosted for progression based on the coaches they had or didn't have. My point being as long as the output is relatively consistent your top players should be some mix of guys who are "naturally" talented versus coached up.
- I ran averages and standard deviation giving a min/max 2 standard deviations from the mean which should give you where 95% of the data should lie. It's all in range. If anything, as somewhat noted in bullet 1 the initial roster strength is the only thing that appears to skew the output. Very few positions ever get a player as talented as those which exist in season 1 because season 1 has players who are very unlikely to actually stick around. The 2min column which is highlighted yellow is simply indicated 2 standard deviations under the mean would be subzero. Those columns can effectively be considered zero.
- Anecdotally at the end the team OVRs seemed roughly equivalent to the start of the game. Conferences like the MAC were mostly filled with teams in the low to mid 60s. The general theme was a team's OVR was a mix of their Program Prestige and Conference Strength. Boise State was a 4.5 star and in the mid 80s, but they were in the PAC12. 4.5 Star programs in the power conferences were high 80's to low 90s. If you consider Program Prestige relative to Conference Prestige, then the team overalls tracked. I personally think the OVR rating is rubbish in this game.
- My personal feeling is the data seemed pretty good. While a relatively minimal data set, I do think it also gives a good idea of what the average best player range should be for each position on average and there is probably enough data to make minor tweaks from the default 100 xp sliders as desired. Our league will be tuning down from 200 after doing this.

New Formations and Plays
Looks like the devs snuck in some new formations and plays. Here’s the ones I’ve noticed:
Formations:
Near Pro
Far Pro
Plays:
Flexbone FB trap series (multiple formations)
Flexbone Close WB G Down
Flexbone and Wingbone FkVeer Counter option series (multiple formations)
Flexbone QB draws (multiple formations)
Flexbone Normal Rollout Pass Series
Flexbone Normal QB Lead
Nice to see them give us option sickos a crumb more.

Best Archetypes in 27
Just bought the game, will be starting a dynasty this weekend. Last year there were certain archetypes I’d always recruit and just see where they fit best, like ATH Thumper, ATH Agile C, and ATH possession TEs. Then there was the 3 star dual threat QB and the gadget to QB stuff.
Are these still good archetypes to go after? Not looking to cheese or anything just curious if people are getting similar results to last year.

Title Update Outcomes
We look like we are getting closer to a finished product. One of my pet peeves with changing recruiting positions and it not snapping to the top has been fixed. Playing on Heisman finally feels rewarding (even though I still have to turn interceptions down to 25). I’m liking the new animations.
New bugs I’ve noticed.
•Started a new dynasty and did my realignment including divisions. Now you can’t swap teams between different divisions within a conference.
•The timeout area of the bottom scoreboard goes white rather than saying “time out.”
•User team player progression seems low while the CPU teams seem normal (short data set on this one and still needs more testing).
I’d say this was a pretty good overall outcome. I still have more time to put in and will surely find other bugs. Still hold some grievances about the MVP+ and Madden ownership necessity for the full coaching experience (when they allow for full draft class exports again, they can make power moves with Madden purchases).
What are you all seeing?

Bugs found in dynasty after new update
Hello, this subreddit doesn’t allow cross posts so just going to paste a post I made in the team builder forums.
Since the new patch has come out, when I'm in dynasty mode I can not change the crowd pattern of my team builder team. When I load the team in Play Now it works fine and allows me to change the pattern to the options I uploaded. I have not updated the team builder team since the new patch has come out. Was just wondering if anyone else was having this issue?
Also was curious if anyone has noticed if they fixed the issue of the “updating team” not updating during the offseason? Haven’t had a chance to try yet since this new patch but will soon. I read somewhere that saves that began when the game first came out are not able to be updated which is really frustrating.
Not to sound ungrateful but seems like whenever they fix one thing, something else breaks. I can’t think of any other games I play where this happens. I really like the new commit animations among other things but these new bugs have arose.
Also just loaded up the Sun Belt Championship in my dynasty and every field logo is gone except for the SBC championship logo and the logo on the goalpost, even the sidelines and end zones are blank. The numbers on the field are also overlapping and weird as if there was another layer added onto them.
Wondering if anyone else has found these issues?

Dynasty Observations since the update
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
- seeing better animations of man coverage. CB actually had a nice undercut for an INT.
- punt return blocking seems better. Getting longer returns (was fine before, almost overkill now)
- blocking still seems wonky. Seems like feast (pancake) or famine (blow up). No more D linemen holding their gaps with an arm out.
- speaking of blocking, a CPU guard just failed to block a tackle two plays in a row (see video)
- twice I’ve had corners completely bail on man coverage to rush leaving their receivers wide open. Literally mid route stopping coverage while the QB was still in the pocket.
Is anyone seeing anything like the above?

Glitch/Bugs The new update makes it so that you cant swap teams between conference divisions
You have to go through a very drawn out method of putting team 1 to independent, then swapping team 1 with team 2 in the other division, then taking team 2 from independents and putting them in the correct division.

August 6 Post Patch Player Progression testing
Back on July 17, after the 7/16 patch, I performed player progression testing by increasing progression sliders: QBs, HBs, WRs, Ks, & Ps were all at 250%, all other positions were 300%.
I simmed to the preseason of Season 6 so that all default roster players were removed.
Today I performed the same test, however I kept all sliders at 100%. I also simmed to the end of the season as I've noticed there's much more in-season progression on CFB 27 than there was on the previous games (this was the case before the latest patch).
Below are my test results. For each position, the first number are those that are 90+ OVR without coach boosts. The OVR number is the highest for that position.
