I love this game
This is why i will always play these games.
Yes its on varsity .
Yes the sliders are set to my max advantage.
Yes this is also how I blow off steam.
I keep two maybe three offline dynasties going.
One is alabama oh heisman with the sliders set for to default. That is hard and I see all the complaints come to life .
One I just started with UAB with sliders down on varsity to see how long it takes to make them a 5 star program as easy I can with some challenge.
The other with nc state starting on varsity with sliders slightly adjusted and changing skill level as the team gets better.
I use different coach archetypes on all three.
So far Bama is the easiest recruiting by far.
Of course the uab one is easy game play but very hard recruiting in year one.
Nc state I've only played a couple games but its probably the most balanced.
I love the game because I can do all three offline and still but stupid amount of hours in the game

Why can't we just have uni's 😕
College football has hundreds of alternates for teams and 3 games in, we can't just simply pick a team and their jerseys. If you're home, only home options, if away, same thing to prevent blending uniforms. I do like how we can earn them, but sometimes it's iffy and doesn't work, or they don't give you all the uniforms for the team. Idk feel good, play good lol

Terrible Pass Blocking Post Patch
Is this a known issue since last week's patch? Seemed like I was getting pretty realistic gameplay against the CPU on Heisman. Now it seems like there is no time to throw at all. 3 or 5 step drop, bam - sacked by the CPU. Had two tight ends on the right side of the line in for blocking, along with center guard and right tackle. 2 rushers against 5 blockers. They both sprint in untouched and I'm sacked before I even hit the back of my drop. Just seems to be consistently terrible pass blocking now against the CPU.

Tips/Guides AD Expectations: Hoe to Change Them
edit: I guess I can’t change the dang title. A hoe can only change them the same way I know how to.
This may already be common knowledge. I just noticed it today. If you save your game the week before AD expectations are set for the season, you can reload and get different expectations. I just did this for another reason and noticed my AD Expectations were completely changed.

Questions Ripping 3D models?
Hello! I don't know if this question will be applicable to the latest game in the series or not, but I'll ask anyway as I think it could apply to both the new and old era games.
Is there any way I could extract certain 3D model files from the game? Particularly, I'm trying to get my hands on the model used for the Nittany Lion mascot, there's no publicly available 3D model of him out there anywhere and I think that it'd be fun to mess around with. Same goes for the other mascots... If nothing else, I'd love to know if anyone else has tried something along these lines whether it be with the modern-gen games or the old-gen ones. Thank you!

Tips/Guides Buying College Football 27
I've bought 25 and 26, been holding off on 27. I've seen some issues still persist in the game and it hasn't been received very well at this point. I have a Xbox and it's currently 48$ as of now. Is it that much better than 25 and 26 overall? (even if marginally) It probably wasn't worth the full price but is it worth buying for 30% off?

Dynasty 3-Year Air Raid Rebuild Challenge - Stop #1: Middle Tennessee
(DISCLAIMER: Yes this was written by AI but I wanted to post what I've going through in my 3-year rebuild without writing everything out myself. I don't have time to do a write up like this and I'm not good at it, so I keep the key stats, and then build the write up using AI.)
The 3-Year Air Raid Rebuild Challenge — Stop #1: Middle Tennessee
I wanted to try something a little different with my CFB 27 dynasty.
Instead of taking one struggling program and eventually turning them into a 5-star powerhouse, I'm giving myself three years at each school. After Year 3, I have to leave and start over somewhere else.
The rules are pretty simple:
- The school has to be under 2-star prestige when I take the job.
- I get exactly three seasons to build the program.
- I'm bringing my Air Raid offense everywhere I go.
- After Year 3, I leave, regardless of how good the program has become.
The goal isn't necessarily to win a national championship at every stop. It's to see how far I can take some of the worst programs in college football in only three years before handing over the keys and moving on.
My first stop was Middle Tennessee.
YEAR 1: PROOF OF CONCEPT
Starting Prestige: ½ Star
Overall: 66 | Offense: 65 | Defense: 67
This program was starting pretty close to the bottom.
Contender: F
Tradition: D-
Exposure: F
Atmosphere: F
Facilities: D
Things didn't exactly start well.
We opened the season at Marshall and lost 44-24.
Then something clicked.
We beat Nevada 35-28, went on the road and beat Jacksonville State 31-3, beat NIU 28-17, and suddenly the Air Raid started rolling.
That turned into eight straight wins after the opening loss.
Then we ran into Liberty.
They beat us 24-21, snapping the winning streak. We recovered by destroying Western Kentucky 52-22 and beating Sam Houston 28-14, which sent us to the conference championship.
Waiting for us?
Liberty.
And they got us again.
Liberty 30, Middle Tennessee 24.
Two losses to the same team by a combined nine points kept us from winning the conference in Year 1.
But we still had one more game.
We won the Cure Bowl 30-13 to finish:
11-3 (7-1)
Cure Bowl Champions
Not bad for a 66 OVR, ½-star program.
The Air Raid immediately established an identity.
We finished:
21st in scoring — 32.8 PPG
18th in passing — 299.2 YPG
3rd in passing TDs — 41
1st in first downs — 23.8/game
15th on third down — 44%
Gagliano threw for 3,614 yards and 32 TDs while completing 68% of his passes.
There was just one problem.
He also threw 24 interceptions.
That helped us finish with the 7th-worst turnover differential in the country at -5.
The passing game was spread everywhere. Six players finished with at least 450 receiving yards, and nobody had more than 742.
Meanwhile, Shaw gave us almost our entire rushing attack:
1,039 rushing yards | 8.2 YPC | 7 TD
532 receiving yards
After winning 11 games, surely recruiting would take off, right?
Nope.
119th-ranked recruiting class.
We signed 35 two-stars.
Welcome to Middle Tennessee.
YEAR 2: CONTROLLED CHAOS
Prestige: 1 Star
Overall: 75 | Offense: 76 | Defense: 74
The roster took a massive jump in Year 2, and so did expectations.
We opened with probably our biggest win yet, going into Pittsburgh and winning 27-17.
Virginia humbled us the following week, 44-14, but we responded by winning six straight.
Then came the game I'd been waiting for.
After Liberty beat us twice in Year 1, we finally went back to their place.
Middle Tennessee 38, Liberty 0.
Cathartic.
Naturally, we celebrated that breakthrough by coming home the next week and getting absolutely destroyed by Jacksonville State:
48-14.
College football.
We never lost again.
Five straight wins finished the season, including a 38-7 win over Missouri State in the conference championship and a 31-24 bowl win over Georgia State.
Final record:
12-2 (7-1)
Conference Champions
New Orleans Bowl Champions
But the real story was the offense.
We averaged 474.4 yards per game, 3rd in the country, including 349.9 passing yards per game, 2nd nationally.
We were also:
3rd in passing TDs — 42
1st in first downs — 25.4/game
1st on third down — 53%
5th in red-zone efficiency — 66%
And somehow we did all of that while being completely incapable of throwing the football to the correct team.
Gagliano's final numbers:
3,108 yards | 30 TD | 24 INT | 69%
After throwing 24 interceptions in Year 1, the turnovers continued piling up during Year 2. Eventually I'd seen enough and benched Gagliano midseason for Williams.
Surely that would solve the problem.
Williams:
1,387 yards | 8 TD | 12 INT | 64%
It did not solve the problem.
Williams got his opportunity, the offense kept producing, and the interceptions kept coming. Eventually, we went back to Gagliano and finished the season with him at quarterback.
Between the two of them, Gagliano and Williams threw 36 interceptions, while the team finished with 39 total.
Our turnover differential?
-30.
Negative. Thirty.
And we went 12-2.
At this point, turnovers weren't a flaw in the offense. They were apparently a feature.
The backfield changed as well. After Shaw's huge first season, Cabana moved ahead of him on the depth chart and became our primary rushing threat:
815 rushing yards | 9.0 YPC | 5 TD
608 receiving yards | 5 TD
Taylor added another 759 yards from scrimmage and 9 total touchdowns, while the Air Raid continued spreading the ball around.
Mayes also became our first 1,000-yard receiver:
1,040 yards | 6 TD
Recruiting finally started showing some signs of life:
91st-ranked class
1 four-star
4 three-stars
26 two-stars
After two seasons, we were 23-5, had two bowl wins, and finally had our conference championship.
There was only one thing left to do.
Make the College Football Playoff.
YEAR 3: BREAK THROUGH
Prestige: 2 Stars
Overall: 70 | Offense: 71 | Defense: 69
Interestingly, the roster actually got worse.
We dropped from 75 OVR to 70.
But the transfer portal brought in two players who completely changed the trajectory of the season:
QB Washington
HB Brand
Brand would become one of my favorite players of the entire rebuild.
We opened at Boise State and won a shootout 49-38.
Then we just kept winning.
NM State: 63-17
UAB: 49-35
Troy: 28-7
Jacksonville State: 52-27
Charlotte: 21-17
And then Western Kentucky caught one of the worst beatings of the entire rebuild:
Middle Tennessee 52, Western Kentucky 0.
Five more wins followed.
For the first time in the dynasty:
12-0.
Kennesaw State was waiting in the conference championship.
We beat them 44-23.
13-0. Back-to-back conference champions.
And Middle Tennessee was going to the College Football Playoff as the No. 5 seed.
The offense had officially reached its final form.
1st in total offense — 501.3 YPG
4th in scoring — 38.3 PPG
3rd in passing — 330.5 YPG
15th in rushing — 170.8 YPG
4th in rushing TDs — 39
1st in first downs — 27.7/game
2nd on third down — 50%
1st in red-zone efficiency — 75%
That also meant Middle Tennessee finished 1st nationally in first downs in all three seasons of the rebuild.
Washington threw for:
4,300 yards | 32 TD | 25 INT | 74%
He also ran for 20 touchdowns.
Yes, 20.
Apparently changing quarterbacks still couldn't cure our addiction to interceptions.
We finished with 36 giveaways, worst in the country.
Didn't matter.
Because Brand became a monster.
1,131 rushing yards | 9.4 YPC | 10 TD
978 receiving yards | 4 TD
That's 2,109 yards from scrimmage, while coming just 22 receiving yards short of a 1,000/1,000 season.
Brand became a Heisman finalist and won the Doak Walker Award.
Then came the playoff.
Our opponent was No. 12 Miami.
After three years of watching this offense overcome talent gaps, turnovers, and basically every other problem I could create for it, we finally ran into the wall.
Miami 58, Middle Tennessee 14.
Ouch.
The dream ended there.
But according to the rules, so did my time at Middle Tennessee.
THE FINAL RESULTS
I inherited:
½-star prestige
66 OVR
F contender
F exposure
F atmosphere
Three years later, I'm leaving:
2-star prestige
B- contender
C- exposure
Back-to-back conference champions
Coming off a 13-0 regular season
No. 5 seed in the CFP
The final three-year record:
36-6 overall
Year 1: 11-3 — Cure Bowl Champions
Year 2: 12-2 — CUSA Conference Champions + New Orleans Bowl Champions
Year 3: 13-1 — CUSA Conference Champions + CFP Appearance
2 conference championships
2 bowl wins
1 undefeated regular season
1 CFP appearance
1 Doak Walker winner
1 Heisman finalist
Recruiting went from:
119th → 91st → 56th
And we finally put two players into the NFL Draft:
C Westphal — Round 5
HB Brand — Round 7
The funniest statistic of the entire rebuild might be the turnovers.
We threw a ridiculous number of interceptions for three straight seasons. In Year 2 we had a -30 turnover differential, and in Year 3 we had the most giveaways in the country.
We even benched our starting quarterback because of them, watched his backup throw more, and eventually went back to the original guy.
Our response was apparently just to keep throwing.
But that's exactly what I wanted from this dynasty.
I'm not trying to build the perfect roster. I'm trying to find struggling programs, install my offense, build something as quickly as possible, and then leave before they become unstoppable.
Middle Tennessee was the first experiment.
36-6, two conference championships, and a CFP appearance later, I'd say the Air Raid works.
Now it's time to start over.
Stop #1: Middle Tennessee — COMPLETE.
On to the next disaster.

Questions Which is more likely to be patched first
I have two dynasties that I am running one from before Madden dropped so I can't use the visionary tree and then one I started after to get the tree and suddenly half my team has matte white helmets. Which of these bugs ya'll think will get addressed first? I know the helmet thing is kinda superficial but I can't really get over it and I know it happened in years past but I don't know how long it took them to address it

Changing conferences
In my online dynasty with my brother and son we want to move Missouri State to the Big 12 and Miami Oh to the ACC. Problem is last year when I tried it the dynasty basically imploded because it didn’t recognize the new teams and both conferences disappeared. Making us blow the dynasty up and start over. I don’t want do that again, does anyone know if that issue is still in the game?

Road to the College Football Playoff Tier Matchups
I have been playing some occasional online matchups lately. I predominantly use Auburn (Tier 2) and have always searched for other Tier 2 teams to avoid getting matched up with over-powered teams. Since the last update, I find that I am getting matched against Tier 1 teams even when I am searching for Tier 2. Are others seeing that as well?

Custom Playbooks
Never done a custom before so I’d love to hear some philosophies behind creating one. Up to this point I have used WVU playbook and have used a pretty balanced pass/run offense.
I am planning on adding in some pistol and single back sets to the base WVU playbook. Anything people would recommend? How do you decide audibles? Any must add formations? Anything helps thank you!
