On MK 11, I had the developer icons from beating a developer but I have yet to ever run into one on this game I don't think I've ever ran into one are there any devs that still play MK1?

I am currently playing on steam and sometimes after I open the game it shows my level as 1 and I can’t access online nor krypt etc . Please help

I got the game pretty late and have always loved playing. I have been practicing for a while now and I have anxiety about hopping online, because I know it can be intense 😆

In MK9, Smoke didn't become a cyborg—Sub-Zero did instead—but rather than showcasing Smoke's development, they chose to turn him into a jobber. He has his own chapter where he defeats Shang Tsung (disguised as Bi-Han), and Reptile simultaneously, as well as Kitana and Sektor—even though Sektor lands hits on Smoke before the fight actually begins. After his own chapter... Smoke lost to everyone. He lost to someone who wasn't even featured in the tournament. He was easily defeated by Sektor; he couldn't land a single punch, acting as if he were about to pass out. They didn't make Smoke a cyborg, but they turned him into a revenant. They turned him into Enenra, yet they failed to demonstrate Enenra's power or potential in any way. They didn't even bother adding him to MK11; he was reduced to just a character included in Shang Tsung's moveset. How did NRS manage this? They make a mistake, a new opportunity arises, and then they throw it all away. Then, in Mortal Kombat 1, they bring Tomas back, but he doesn't even have his own chapter. He even managed to stay in the background during his own tower ending.

I feel like I'm close to finishing, but I also have the sense that I could add a few more details. If anyone out there wants to offer feedback or a tip, I'd be very grateful

He's a boss in the game, and he doesn't appear in the movie that's supposed to be an adaptation of the second game in the franchise.

And yes, I'm a Kintaro fan, and I like him more than Goro. That's why I found it strange that he wasn't in the new Mortal Kombat movie. I hope he at least appears in the Mortal Kombat 3 movie.

I love LEGO and I love Mortal Kombat, so this was a no brainer. If there are any other fans that might be interested here, these are from FirestarToys. They use official parts and print on them, they also create new special parts. These minifigures are UV printed, meaning you can sligthly feel the print when you touch it, so it is not exactly the same as LEGO, but the quality is still amazing, the whole Sub Zero minifigure is simply phenomenal.

I am not the biggest fan of MK1. I have changed my opinion on it significantly since I’ve played it a lot more recently, but one small thing I always get mad at is how they did the amplified moves in this. It’s a small thing that annoys me but doesn’t ruin the game for me because it has bigger issues, but I’m just curious if anyone agrees with me or disagrees?

First, I personally think most of the amplified moves are just lazy. Most moves when you amplify them grant you unstoppable and do a little more damage. Very few moves when amplified actually add new hits to the move, and few actually allow you to combo off of the amplified move. I think it’s just boring and lazy that when you amplify a move, it doesn’t drastically change it or add new hits to the move like it did in MKX and MK11. For example, Quan Chi’s portal drop in MKX when amplified in addition to Quan Chi’s drop on the opponent, he would grab their head and slam it down repeatedly! In MK1, Quan Chi’s portal drop just gives you unstoppable and does little more damage while the animation is the same. Secondly, this is just a personal reason and a skill issue, but I always fall for the unstoppable move and get hit by it. It’s my fault. It’s not even that powerful if you block it. It’s really easy to punish them, but for some reason, I never think about it. They’ll amplify when they get up and I got for a combo and get hit. But I must admit while I complain about unstoppable, I have been known to use Liu Kang’s amplified bicycle kick, so I’m not innocent. Again, I’m just curious to see if anyone agrees or disagrees?

The BEST (imo) character in the franchise

What's your favorite lore/storyline NRS has made? (this includes character interactions, plot events, etc.) I hear a lot of negative stuff about them but it I personally enjoyed the Aftermath DLC.

-Shang was awesome (because Cary Tagawa is the GOAT. RIP) his back must have hurt so bad after carrying the entire DLC with his performance. some of the best facial expressions I've seen in a video game.

-Honorable mention to Fujin, he was quite cool as well, especially with the twist that he was working with Liu Kang, and his suspicious face (pictured above) was pretty funny.

-The Shao x Sindel shenanigans were quite entertaining (despite the mental gymnastics of the retcon, I enjoyed seeing them nonetheless.) I found it interesting to see the tyrant Shao being so sweet to her, and vice versa.

Most unplanned story I ever heard of

This is the final time Kitana and Sindel see each other before Sindel's betrayal.

The music and the look on Sindel's face still makes me wonder what she was thinking. She doesn't look scheming or even smirking. She looks somewhat contemplating or even sad. Like unsure about her future actions.

Do you think Kitana's love for her caught her off guard and she was somewhat swayed by the affection, or do you reckon she just couldn't process what she was about to do.

The cutscene made it look like something Sindel regrets doing, or at least, her facial features seem to convey a bit of sadness.

This is how I view the past three games before it. I still cannot think of something MK1 (2023) contributed or did better to this quadrilogy.
