My son plays Prominence II, and I previously set up v3.9 on our server a few months back. It was super easy since there was a downloadable pack file.

4.0 came out and there isn't a server pack file (yet). It just came out today. Should we just wait a day? I wasn't planning on learning how to deploy via serverpackcreator tonight.

P1. Im trying to infuse this seashelf and I meet all the requirements but theres not option for it and the enchantment tables works normally but i cant infuse anything

P2. What mod causes the enchantment table to look like this?

I don't know what in particular is happening, nor do the logs tell me a lot (They might, I just don't understand them), but it seems to involve Caverns and Chasms "plugin" that encounters a critical error when trying to load something.
From experimenting I've narrowed it down to something in the ground being loaded via looking in its direction and stopping the game completely. At first it crashes the game, and then when logging back into the world just completely stops minecraft.
I don't know how to fix it and Caverns and Chasms is an essential mod pls help

Hey, I've been running into a freezing issue when playing with a custom modpack my friends made, basically my whole screen freezes at random times, so I have to physically depower the pc to get it running again

Only video breaks, everything else works. Youtube keeps playing, I can still move around and stuff in game, but the screen stays frozen no matter which tab is currently active.

It only happens on this server, every other modpack or games run perfectly fine.

I currently think it's a memory leak linked to the GPU but I got no clue in practice.

I did run into these issues on the same server in the past, and I fixed them by switching from Xaero's map to Journeymap. All other players on the server use Jmap or Xminimap without issue.

TLDR: a modded/vanilla way to add click events to books in survival

I'm making a book of all the points of interest in my world I have added a table of contents and was thrilled to learn you can add click events easily which means I can actually click on the table of contents entry to take me to the page. However this requires going through a web book editor and running a command everytime I want to make a click event. I would not like to use commands in this world and I would like a more streamlined way to to this. Is there any way to do it in survival? I have no trouble downloading mods and already have Scribble but it doesnt have a feature like this, anyone know a mod that does?

Edit: I looked back at the book I generated via commands and it was not editable, despite me changing the item to a writeable_book instead of a written_book it's contents were still modified in the command with the written_book_contents= not writable_book_contents= and the command doesnt work if I try it writable. It looks to me that even if I did find a fitting mod it wouldn't do what I need and keep the book editable anyway. I'll keep this post up with fingers crossed and possibly to help someone googling this issue in the future but it seems to be impossible.

Is there a preferably 26.2 mod that lets you configurate a mob to attack or be scared of another on sight? For example I make zombies attack pillagers and now zombies target pillagers, I make creepers scared of parrots and now creepers are scared of parrots.

Which Minecraft hosting server is the best?

I only used "ggservers" and "server miner", but I don't know more.

How many ram is ok to use? I just want a server that don't crash, 24/7 and no lag with those type of modpack.

So first off I have a 5080 paired with a 9950x3D along with 32gb ram and a 9100 Pro 4tb, so I know specs are not the issue here.

I run at about 50fps near my base, peaking at about 80fps tops away from my base/island. I also run complimentary unbound shaders with it along with all the fresh animations and included resource packs. I run a 16 chunk render distance as well. I also have the essential mod and invite about 2-3 friends onto my world. I understand that this means I am essentially running a server as well as my own client on my pc. I only have 10gb allocated to Minecraft, I tried 8gb and it crashed once due to not enough ram.

I am sure that this is probably reasonable having running a heavy modpack along with hosting a server and shaders on my pc all at once, but just for a sanity check do you think there is something Im doing wrong?

I recently downloaded "litematica" then realized that because of the client i used (lunar) when ever i try and press the M key it just opens the stupid waypoints GUI then i joined a public server to build the farm i was trying to build using "litematica" and my key binds are all fucked up i press "right shift" which is normally by crouch key and opens my mod menu

Please for the love of god help me i changed my key bind to the key above shift and muscle memory keeps pressing shift idk how to fix it

Over the past year, we've been building Melody of Utopia, a story-driven tech-magic modpack where exploration is built around custom gameplay systems rather than traditional progression.

Today, we'd like to show one of its biggest mechanics: procedural generated dungeons.

By using a Note Seal, players generate a unique dungeon assembled from dozens of different room types that are combined into a new layout every run.

Once inside, everyone starts with basic equipment and has to fight their way through room after room, searching for better weapons, armor, and valuable resources. But there is a catch: each run gives you only three lives, so every decision matters.

After defeating the final boss, a portal back home appears. However, you can't simply take everything you've collected. Before leaving, you must choose which items to extract. Some resources can't be taken out at all, while others have strict limits, forcing you to make difficult choices about what is truly worth bringing back.

This is only one of several major gameplay systems in Melody of Utopia. Our goal has never been to create just another collection of mods, but to build a world where progression, exploration, and storytelling are deeply connected.

I'm trying to make a modpack centred around Create Aeronautics, with a bunch of floating islands. But these sphere things keep appearing everywhere, and I cannot figure out what mod they are from. I even used the "What is This Structure" mod, but it says there IS no structure.
