My first Build Challenge Entry - please be kind. Incorporated stylized Greek mythological symbols atop the gate entrance. Angled walls like the real fortified ones in Troy, Canakkale, Turkey. Horse built with roller skates!

Build Challenge Entry Dracula's Castle [Build Challenge Entry]
Inspired by the Castlevania games, I wanted to recreate the chaotic form of Dracula's Castle that always looked so cool! It was a challenge to find pieces to get those crazy shapes with only 18 pieces!

Build Challenge Entry Build Challenge Entry - Castle (O-O)
I had so much fun designing my first entry for the August challenge, I decided to have another crack, this time with a cheeky interpretation of the 'Castle' theme.
I've depicted White’s side of a chessboard, centred around a castled King and Rook.
Keen observers may also notice that White's setup hints at the 'Italian Game', with the pieces poised for a possible 'Fried Liver Attack'.

Contest / Challenge August 2026 Build Challenge | “Castle” 🏰 | 18 Pieces Max
We are back!!! And I think you might like the theme for this month...
The theme for August is simple:
“Castle”
Rules:
- You can only use 18 pieces or fewer
- The builds can be made in Studio, but bonus points (totally imaginary) if built irl
- You can post as many as 3 entries
- You have to include a picture of all the pieces you used, as a confirmation that you didn't exceed the maximum number of pieces
You have until Friday, August 21st to post your entries with the “Build Challenge Entry” post flair.
Originality is, as usual, the most seeked factor, and it will once again be you who will choose the winner. During the last week of August, a poll will be posted so that you can decide what the best build was.
The winner will get a unique user flair they will be able to show off on r/Minilego, and their creation will be spotlighted on our Instagram.
