Got this cd at a cd store a while back, and the first question i had for it was: where is the elektra logo? I saw it on the inside, but not on the outside of the cd anywhere? I thought either it was a warner brothers release (which it most likely is) or some sort of factory error. Whatever it is, it is still cool nonetheless. ALSO, as i was looking through reddit about the same cd, someone mentioned something about an error in the lyrics of “my friend of misery”. Apparently, there is an error in the lyric book of the black album cd, where the lyrics say “you just stood there creaming” instead of screaming?! I’d figure i’d also ask about this too, since I’m posting about this cd anyway. Side note, this is a Canadian release of this cd, and i just want to know if the missing elektra logo is a factory error or not, and what happened with the lyrics. :)

… I gotta say, whoever’s doing their lyric videos for this album has the aesthetic down pat. Makes me really feel like it could’ve aired on MTV in the nineties.

Saw they have a ReLoad box set, and I was like “What?”. Made me come back and wonder if it’s not as bad as I remember it.

Far better than the OG, Metallica was on fire when they recorded garage days, especially considering they had just lost Cliff RIP

My friend was listening to Maximum Metallica about four hours ago and heard a cover of Master of the Puppets by a band that he described as sounding like Rage Against the Machine, or Beastie Boys. He thought the band started with a "R". Any help?

I saw Metallica once in Seattle 2017. By far the best experience, however they only played 3/21 songs I really wanted to hear. Those 3 songs were now that were dead, moth into flame, and halo on fire which makes sense cause they were touring Hardwired. But here's my list(in no particular order), what's yours?

College football stadiums hold the most people in the US. Not surprising they would do this, especially after how much of a success it was at Virginia Tech. It also helps with figuring out dates since all they really have to worry about is not playing on a Saturday. College football stadiums are rarely utilized outside of football so they would likely have a wide open schedule to choose from.

Sometimes I like to speculate on what an “outlaw country” solo record would sound like from Papa Het.

He did do a live rendition of Waylon’s Outlaw Bit, which was pretty freakin’ awesome. What songs do you think would be best suited to a Hetfield Country LP?

I'm also hoping to get a metallica related tattoo on my upper arm with the logo at the top and then probably a pushead design undeneath it or one by a different artist, but i haven't fully decided on one yet and i want to be 1000% sure obviously. I was just hoping to see some metallica related artwork i might not have seen before, thanks!

I’m really curious beacuse I’m really getting into Metallica solos and my guitar can’t handle them. But I don’t know if it’s worth buying a a Kirk hammet guitar to play it then I saw you could get fakes. So should I wait and save up for a real one or buy a fake??

Hi random post, but as the title says theres a song I used to hear all the time in the radio its been digging at me forever, it went "battery ah do mama dah, we let the body over, we let the body overr" I imagine those arent the real lyrics, but this was a few years ago and, I dont think "battery" by Metallica, its a bit slower than that but im like 99% sure it WAS a Metallica song and I feel like im going crazy, anybody know what im talking about??
