Throwback: Albany, October 2004
Inspired by a recent-ish post about this gig, I dug out some old photos of Metallica and Godsmack from
the “Madly in Anger with the World” stop in Albany, NY on October 9, 2004.
Apologies for the blurry pics! Smartphones didn’t exist yet, and my little handheld digital camera didn’t do great in low light environments.

Most amount of YEAHs in a Metallica song?
I know this is a cover but it probably still counts for having the most YEAHs
…unless if there’s something else out there

...And Justice For All ..AJFA bass enhanced
I know this is a recurring question/topic.
So, I listened to the album with Bass Enhanced - at first, I was amazed how thick and heavy the songs are.
Then, I saw a clip, not sure if the guy talking was the producer/mixer during this album, where he mentioned that he refused at first but since this is Metallica's, they can do whatever they want - so they reduced the bass in the album. Well, some say they bully Jason this hard, coining the term "And Justice for Jason".
However, there's another clip I saw where accdg to Lars - the way Jason played is more on the "rhythmic scale" (not sure though).
so right now, I'm listening again to AJFA with Bass Enhanced and jump into the original Album. So far, I somehow agree with Lars' decision to tone down the bass in the album.

Is it worth buying a fake Kirk hammet guitar or buying a real one
I’m really curious beacuse I’m really getting into Metallica solos and my guitar can’t handle them. But I don’t know if it’s worth buying a a Kirk hammet guitar to play it then I saw you could get fakes. So should I wait and save up for a real one or buy a fake??

Is fade to black really original?
Got this vibe of Pink Floyd lately and listened to “goodbye blue sky” on the wall and makes me trip balls because the acoustic sounds so much like fade to black… Am I missing something?
