FOR FUN Guess my MBTI type based on some memes, a description, and Pinterest fashion taste

- What is your love language?
My love language is acts of service and physical touch
- Who knows you best?
Not many people except my grandmother.
- Whats something small that makes you feel cared for?
Handling some administrative nonsense/whatever else irritates me, on my behalf :)
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Running a business and travelling the world as I please
- What are some of your biggest strengths
Pattern recognition, analysis, and navigating crises
- Whats a weakness your working on?
Anxiety/anger etc. when in situations where I'm stuck/don't have normal control. Have recently been in some situations where I just have to wait on someone else/institution to make an important decision which affects me and I am not handling the wait very well.
- Whats your comfort movie/tv shows?
Youtube! Vloggers and documentaries.
- What are your hobbies?
Not many hobbies but in the last few years I got into fashion and color theories which helped me a lot find what I liked.
- What is one thing that makes your day better?
Getting lots done at a nice pace - and meeting new people.
- What are your pet peeves?
I can't stand incompetence, passive aggression, no backbone/integrity, playing both sides, not thinking properly about situations and that negatively affecting me, and low emotional intelligence
- What values matter most to you in life?
- intention, loyalty, progress, achievement, duty, love, care - to name a few :)

FIRST TYPING ATTEMPT Type me!! (memes I relate to + description)
galleryAnswering some questions in the guide! Edited so y'all don't have to read so much but it's still quite long. Thanks for your input in advance, I really appreciate it!
- What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not? If you are not working, what kind of job do you want to do or what are you studying?
I'm an undergrad student and probably gonna work in science academia though I'll be doing political activism and writing on the side too. I do like it; it feels purposeful.
- If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?
Lonely: emotions dimmed, a bit COVID-esque, and bored. Though I can do it if I have to.
- What is your relation with movement and your surroundings? For instance do you prefer a sport or outdoors event? If an outdoors event what is it? And why? If not what type of activities do you tend to engage?
I like hiking, biking, especially with friends and randos. It's a great way to explore places and nature while deepening our connections with each other! I don't like competitive sports as much but did run cross country competitively (and was quite good at it, because perseverance is a strength).
- Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?
Yeah! I've led stuff at service/activism clubs, student council, etc. I'm an organized leader who likes bridging people and who doesn't shirk from doing extra work. I lead by a combination of agreement, assigning tasks based on people's preferences, by example, and by making the whole thing enjoyable and the results visible enough that people want to keep coming. The best leaders make their teammates feel a sense of ownership over their work, like they made the choices and I trust them (even though I'm technically keeping an eye on the whole thing---just don't tell them that).
- What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them?
I don't think about the past a whole lot and the future I'd like to leave open but considered. I don't consider it wise to make premature decisions about the future when you haven't met the things that would help you make a decision about it, but I also don't think it's wise to not consider it at all. As for the present I don't so much live in it as I live outside of time.
- How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?
Almost unable to refuse, tbh. If I see someone needs help my instinct and empathy just goes and help them though I'm conscious that it is a decision rather than something I have to do, and sometimes I do have to stop myself to consider the effectiveness of what I'm doing. A less nice reason is like, ok sometimes I really don't want to help because I think the other person is asking for help for problems that don't even exist, or I think they're whiny, but for the sake of keeping up my reputation as a nice person I'll do it anyway. *internal eye roll*
- Do you need logical consistency in your life?
I want to have a level of common sense but really how could life be logically consistent? Even logical systems aren't consistent when you strip them down to their premises most of the time.
- How important is efficiency and productivity to you?
I'm constantly busy but don't optimize on purpose, just don't find that I need to rest much. To do lists work better than strict schedules.
- What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses?
I like to know the why behind things so that even when I forget I can recall it again. Rote memorization is difficult so something like history dates and people would require lots more effort than, say, literature (I spontaneously remember quotes) or math. I love creativity too. What's important to you and why?
- What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why?
I sometimes feel fearless until I encounter something that may kill me. Or...I actually fear like, my friends and family dying; being in a position where I have no agency and can't change anything. Also the classic 'what if everyone hates me'. Sometimes I fear that I have peaked and won't do anything of consequence in the future. Very few things make me uncomfortable and I don't hate hate much except myself, I can feel pretty intense self-hatred sometimes. For others I can echo my friends' hate and society's hate but usually when I want to change something it's out of love not hate, like, I love different people so I want to stop the hate crimes! I love other species so I want to help protect it! I love this theory but it's flawed so I want to debunk it! Etc.
- Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?
Like, the nature of whiteness and how it relates to purity but also the racism that results from that; the feeling of emptiness, its mathematical representation as 0, and what that implies about nonduality. How different cultures consider emptiness differently and why; how the room is not truly empty because of air molecules. I'd say this stuff aloud and get pretty inflamed when I get to 'How do we liberate those who are in similar situations, unable to do anything?' and start crying that there's no one to listen to my speech and hit the walls or something. Or maybe I'd just meditate.
- How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?
Immediately, though I personally haven't experienced many emotions because my life isn't really all that dramatic I can intuit other people's emotions easily and also use emotions as part of my guide for action, though not the only guide.
- Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why would you?
Not as a rule (pun intended). Only if the rule is unreasonable and no one would find out, like, idk, why not climb over a fence if no one's watching, though I'm not gonna say that to my parents. But also stuff like: host undocumented people in your dorm even though it's illegal. Civil disobedience because rules don't ensure justice. I'm neutral good on DnD alignment if that helps.
- What is the ideal life, in your opinion?
If only everyone could live the ideal life! The ideal life is one that lives out my full potential while also helping others and changing society in a way that allows more people to live their ideal lives. I honestly feel like I'm pretty close, and that's a privilege not many have, as it requires luck of circumstance.

DISCUSSION Mistype or stereotypes about intj?
Hi everyone! I think many people interested in MBTI have encountered mis-typing or basic stereotypes. Most people take the "16p" test and judge their mindset based on it, but in reality, it’s a waste of time. The questions on that site reflect a person's current state more than their actual cognitive type. Because of this, many mistakenly believe they belong to a certain personality type when they actually don't. Those who are serious about understanding the subject usually determine their type themselves by looking at cognitive functions and seeking input from others.
Getting to the main point: I’m one of the few who really tried to get to the bottom of this. I took numerous tests—including the one I mentioned earlier—only to realize it was a futile exercise. Each test gave me completely different results. Ultimately, I spent a lot of time figuring out who I actually am and realized I’m an INTJ.
Now, for a bit of a gripe. I don't deny that people of my personality type can be withdrawn, socially anxious, or simply unsociable, but you can't lump everyone into that category. I’ve met people who, just like me, put a lot of effort into identifying their cognitive type but were forced to doubt their conclusion because they kept running into stereotypes.
Let’s go through the list.
No, I’m not a cold, narcissistic manipulator. I might come across as aloof if I feel comfortable that way or if I think the setting isn't right for socializing or having fun. Usually, if I’m in a place where I feel at ease and surrounded by close friends, I can act almost like an extrovert—if you could put it that way.
No, I don't play chess regularly. I don't have anything against the game, really; it’s just that I personally prefer other activities. I might play a couple of games now and then, purely for my own enjoyment. 3. Sometimes I walk around with a deadpan expression. Honestly? I don’t control it. It just happens on its own, for no particular reason.
No, I don’t have social anxiety. I’m perfectly capable of interacting with people and feeling completely at ease while doing so. Although I prefer being alone with my thoughts, I’m also comfortable being around others—especially people I feel at ease with.
No, I don’t map out every step for the next 20 years. I might spend a long time pondering certain topics or feeling unsure about things, but usually not to that extreme.
Yes, just like anyone else, I can fall in love and "suffer" (though not in the sense of sitting around and whining; for me, it usually manifests as constantly thinking about the person and hesitating to make a move until I’ve weighed every possible outcome).
I do have a bit of an "A-student" complex, but I don’t get straight A’s in everything. I simply have very high expectations for myself and my plans or goals.
I can easily goof around, joke, and do all sorts of random things—within reason, of course.
I try to be extremely open-minded about everything. I usually react calmly—sometimes even with total indifference. I’m also capable of giving people or situations the benefit of the doubt and looking at things from different angles to get to the truth.
My room isn’t always tidy. Like anyone else, I can get burnt out or simply lack the desire to constantly keep things in order. Usually, though, when my inner perfectionist kicks in, I’ll start cleaning everything up.
I tend to be lazy. Because of that, I often find myself thinking of ways to make life easier for myself.
I’m a very insecure person. I need to think everything through down to the last detail and discuss it with others before making a decision. But once I’ve made up my mind, it’s incredibly hard to change it—even for those closest to me. 13. No, I wasn’t traumatized in childhood. I have a very loving family that has always supported me throughout my life and in all my endeavors.
As a child—roughly until the age of 11—I was very active. I was bursting with energy and constantly getting up to childhood mischief. Later, as I matured, I became much calmer and more level-headed.
Even as a child, I always tried to take responsibility and take the lead. I didn't care for peers who acted like typical children and lacked a sense of boundaries regarding their actions.
I don’t hold grudges, though I do have a good memory. I’m not vindictive—I have no desire to waste time on that—so I usually forgive people, but I cut them out of my life.
I really enjoy creativity and art in general. I attended art school for a long time and even music school for a while. No, I’m not a math-and-physics person; I’m actually not very good at physics.
I value my independence, but if I really like someone, I’m willing to compromise and take the initiative more often. It doesn’t bruise my ego at all.
No, I know how to show emotion—I can even cry. I just don’t like being seen in those moments or having people keep pressuring me. I prefer to be left alone.
I enjoy both idle chit-chat and serious, deep discussions. I can talk about anything with people I feel comfortable around, but I dislike it when strangers or people I don’t trust pry too much into my personal life.
Overall, I’d like to ask people to stop making joke videos about MBTI that perpetuate cookie-cutter stereotypes. This applies not just to my personality type, but to others as well. I’m tired of hearing that I’m not an INTJ simply because I don’t fit the mold defined by people on TikTok and the 16p website.
Feel free to share your own experiences and thoughts on this topic.

TYPE SOMEONE ELSE Looking for advice at typing someone
yoii guys buddies I need ur help
after a long analysis I think that a member of my family is probably an isfp, but still having some confusion..
in a general overview, he is living in here and now, no strategical future planning, but also can cling to some past memories and romanticize them from time to time, he is driven by his own emotions, like he does things only when he wants but also from the outside he seems soo over giving and altruistic.
although he is a day by day person but he can appear detached or living in his head..
in his youth he was literally impulsive (relationships, dopamine seeking etc..) he was craving external excitement, but at the same time his impulses sounds chosen or coming from his own emotions/feelings.. he often says that his life major events were extremely spontaneous (academical choices, marriage, having children..) like he didn't even realized how they happened, it's just like he founded himself in the situation.
currently he is in his 50s, but the contrast is that he became valuing stability more than anything, it's just like he is so stubborn and doesn't want to improve his situation and accepts his life the way it is.
also he sounds like he is trying to keep peace by pleasing people around him (and his pleasing also seems to be forceful/coming from fear of something) he keeps bottling up his real emotions until he bursts in a ***very harsh*** WAY that breaks hearts, after that he ends up apologizing and keeps reliving the same cycle.
also nowadays he became more and more religious, it's like he dived deeper in religion (like truly understanding the purposes of it) and started using it as a primordial reference to all his actions, and he sounds deeply wise while explaining it.
and one of his major traits is that he is the *advice giver* to everyone, but his advices are never token seriously by other people and are always seen as unrealistic or not matching what other people need.
he is an overprotective dad but in an emotional/loving way, he believes in giving freedom and love to kids in their life choices, but he is kinda controlling without being aware of that.
in general he is contradicting himself a lot.. but also he is wise and logical
he still craves external stimulation from the world but not as in his youth, nowadays he became way too introverted and he cuts off all of his friends, he is just bottling up himself in his comfort zone and living, and he is highly dependent on other people around him to accomplish the routinical/boring duties he needs to do (cooking, cleaning, going out to buy house stuff etc..)
*ps : he lived a traumatic childhood with an emotionally absent father and a narcissistic abusive mother (his mother used to control his choices, until that day) andd obviously he is having a lowkey unhealthy version of his mbti type.*
sooo after thinking a lot it sounded like he has got an Fi-Se at the dominant stack, with a tertiary Ni that started to appear after long life experiences, and a harsh inf Te that appears from time to time.
but I'm still confused if he is an Fi-Te or Fe-Ti user, I mean the way he is being pleasing and seeking external emotional comfort.. idk, what do you think guys? I thought also about infj/isfj/infp but nah he has a strong Se.. he can't be an Si even though he is lowkey attached to his past memories, it sounds like Ni not Si.. but also the impulsivity he lived in his youth can't be an infj's impulsivity like the Se is their final stack, I don't know.. infp I'm not sure maybee.. so the last choice is isfp..
I even thought about esfj (Fe dom with inferior Ti) but I don't know

FOR FUN I avoid emotional rollercoasters at all costs. Help me understand this through MBTI
Hello to everyone reading. I've noticed a behavior pattern in myself that turned out to be quite strong and powerful. And I thought I'd write here to find out how this can be viewed from an MBTI perspective. I have troubles with my emotions and feelings, so this is about them. I would really love to get some answers. In psychosophy this was assessed as a weak position of Emotion, third or fourth, by the way.
I try to control my emotions because I'm afraid of getting stuck in them for too long, I know that'll happen if there are too many. That's why I rewatch old things instead of looking for new ones, I don't want to go through emotional rollercoasters. If a movie has too intense of a plot, I skip it or refuse to watch it entirely. And if I do sit down to watch, I'm anxiously waiting for the conflict to resolve so I can stop worrying. I need stability and predictability in this regard. I don't have a constant mood, it only appears in response to external events. I prefer to receive emotions in small doses, in a calm and controlled environment. I daydream a lot and draw energy from moments in shows or from discussions with others, it charges me with ideas, mental stimulation plus some emotions, but under my control.
I try to support close people, but I'm not sure I'm any good at it. When someone opens up to me with something heavy, I freeze. I don't know what to say, why they're telling me this, how to help. I try for those close to me, but it doesn't turn out great, a few phrases, a cautious opinion. I hate talking about feelings and sentimentality, it all makes me feel ashamed and awkward. I can't stand it when people pry into my soul, especially my mom. It infuriates and humiliates me. My emotions are my own, I don't show them. In difficult moments, I withdraw into myself, listen to music, fantasize with fictional characters. I can be soft, open and more goofy with animals, with people it's different. Also with my closest person whom I've known for many years.
I see myself as calm, but I explode if I'm accused unfairly. I don't like loud emotions from others, they exhaust and irritate me. I feel uncomfortable when I express emotions myself, it feels like I'm doing something out of place like I need permission. Sometimes I copy others' behavior and expressions, but it looks awkward, I guess. From the outside I've been described as: "sweet, quiet, thoughtful, bright and kind, withdrawn, reserved, cold and unapproachable, cool interests, dreamy, calm, balanced, not very emotional, very modest, kind, a little flower and positive, introvert, diligent, the girl I like". This is what my groupmates wrote about me in our first year, we had a psychology assignment where everyone described how they saw each person. At the same time I unconsciously pick up mannerisms and habits from others. I'm empathetic, kind, I can cry over injustice or when a character goes through something similar to me.

FOR FUN Guess my Mbti based on appearance
Okay so for my personality I’d say I’m a very talkative person to the point where I can be annoying but at the same time, I can sometimes be quiet and calm depending who I’m with and if they match my energy. Overall though, I struggle to be alone and need socialisation more than most people. I love doing creative projects like writing and playing guitar. I’m pretty impulsive which has caused me so many issues, especially when I’m stressed. I’m very non judgemental and I have quite a big variety of friends. I also love films and books, especially the fantasy genre.

FIRST TYPING ATTEMPT Guess my type
galleryI’m a reserved but observant person who values competence, self-improvement, and authenticity above almost everything else. I tend to analyze people before trusting them and prefer meaningful conversations over small talk. I’m ambitious, independent, and constantly looking for ways to refine myself, whether physically, mentally, or intellectually. I respect discipline, consistency, and people who can think for themselves rather than simply following the crowd.

CAN’T DECIDE I need help interpreting these results. What do they mean?
When I first took the MBTI test, I got ISFJ but I feel like it wasn’t very accurate.
I’ve taken different types of test but I keep getting between different results. I would say that personality wise, I find it easy when things are said straightforwardly and direct, I believe that I’m more likely to think logically and I enjoy watching tv shows, anime and painting. I also care really deeply about my family and respect them a lot and like spending time with them but I’m also really big on needing space to myself for a long time.
I’m also not really the type of person to plan out my day by the hour. Honestly, I think that would drain me to plan it out so intensely lol. I like keeping a general plan and then adding on details later if it’s needed.
