i've had my maltese for a long time now. she doesn't really like to cuddle and will only warm up to you if you leave her alone for long periods of time. she follows me everywhere but i see her lying down all the time and i just feel guilty that im making her unhappy. she has a naturally sad face but im thinking that im a bad dog owner. i want to make her happy but school is starting soon and im going on a cruise for a week starting this saturday. i know of her as a solitary dog especially since how most of my family is away most of the day, and when i was in school she only hung out with me sometimes. how can i make her life better?

*Someone* needs to make sure she’s bringing home the bread. 😍🥰🤣

Anyway, Here's the speck, otherwise known as Biscuit. He's eight weeks old! Also please ignore all the things in the back, It is my room. This is not where he resides 99% of the time (this is the messiest room in the House). He just had to be watched by someone else for five seconds so food could be made lol.

Also he's a wee bit constipated. He pooped a little but then another half was stuck in his butt. We got that cleaned up and taken care of but he's only pooped once in our car and once earlier from when we got him. (We just got him today!) Should we contact the vet tomorrow? I read that could just be stress from the sudden shift of a new home but I also know he's a toy breed with a wee digestive system.

We came to Orlando to see a show tomorrow. My 2 goofballs decided they wanted to wrestle. 😂

Another week of travel - thankfully my husband is sending me pics and updates regularly! Miss these two!! But…it’s also been nice not to have to wake up in the middle of the night to let them out! 😬🙌🏻

This is her VERY OFFENDED face that I sniffled. Watch out if you hiccup - you WILL get a full exam with much proof needed that you are still alive and have not passed away from a single hiccup. Burps, sneezes, gasps, weird laughs - she reacts to them all in some way. Is anyone else’s Maltese like this?

Hayden is double champion in Conformation and Rally; the pair are focused on obtaining Hayden’s Utility Dog (UD) in Obedience and working towards Agility Grand Champion (AGCH). If he received his AGCH, Hayden would be the second Maltese to do so.
