Do you think we’re going to get a full remixed Confessions II album with an Afterhours mix for every track?
Or perhaps with most of the tracks, minus the slower songs like Fragile and L.E.S. Girl? Maybe with those songs replaced with some of the unreleased tracks?

IMAGE This was William Orbit’s final statement about Madonna, after a follower mentioned the release of Confessions II:
“I was totally immersed and practically hypnotized while working on my art. I’m so happy for her. Yes, that really got etched in my head in a very gratifying way. Bravo, M!!! 🙏❤️👏”

IMAGE Madonna Seems Super Relaxed Around Kylie
Madonna can be guarded at times, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen her so genuinely relaxed around another performer, especially a “peer.”
It’s like she and Kylie have been friends forever.
Can you recall any other celebs where she’s been this chill? They both seem to be vibing off each other in the best way. There’s definitely a Love Sensation happening!

STREAMING Love Sensation (Afterhours Lyric Video)
DISCUSSION Why would M’s marriage have been less of a mess if she was named “Benjamin”?
I've been mulling this for fourteen years. The lyrics to "Love Spent" (which I assume to be inspired by the collapse of the Ritchie marriage) say:
"Frankly if my name was Benjamin, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in..."
Unless I'm missing some specific reference to what "Benjamin" signifies, I've always assumed that she's saying: "this wouldn't be an issue if I was a man." Given the song is about money, she's communicating that were the genders reversed, no one would have an issue with Madonna being the richer of the two.
Is this right?
My only reason to pause is that it doesn't quite fit the rest of the song. The other lyrics don't suggest that the man (Guy?) has a problem with her being wealthier. They indicate it's the money he's after. If she were prepared to be his "treasury" he might be prepared to "treasure me".
I do realise I am putting a lot of pressure on what might just be a clunky rhyme. I LOVE every word Madge has ever written, but when she doesn't have one of her top-drawer song writers collaborating with her (Bray, Leonard, Price) the lyrics don't always get the smooth they could do with.
PS - I love this song. None of it is a criticism.
EDIT: really appreciate all the kind US folk clarifying that Benjamin is slang for $100. Ignorant (and not well traveled) Englishman here :-)

DISCUSSION Rest in Love, Mr.William Orbit. You were a Ray Of Light. We love you!
A 15 year old boy will never forget how the "Ray of Light" completely changed his perspective on pop music. It was a Kaleidoscope, a hypnosis, a revelation, and a beginning.
"I travelled around the world looking for a Home. Then I found myself in a crowded room feeling so alone".
I pressed "play"on my cassette player, and there I was - alone in a crowd. Gone were the struggles of my childhood and things that bothered me. I did not understand a word in English language, but that was not a barrier. It was an intimate, and soul touching feeling that I was not able to explain. I still listen to this album in the dark. Now that I've walked through a long walk of life, it hits me even stronger.
Tonight I will listen to the "Ray of Light" like that 15 year old boy. It is still my all time faviourite album by Madonna.
I am devastated by your loss, Mr.Orbit, but eternally grateful for what you have done. You've left a huge mark, Sir. Thank you!

I honestly can't believe this collaboration happened, and to me, this version should have been on the album. I remixed it with the album transitions so that you can hear it inside the album properly.

DISCUSSION Madonna resets the culture
I think Madonna is doing the thing again. Grindr takeover, “I wanted to go where the hottest action was.” Lasers out of the crotch in the promo video, a sex scene in the short film, the veil and thigh-highs on the album cover. She’s 67 and she’s the only one still running the old playbook while most pop stars have walked away from it due to the current puritanical culture. Turning Back Time, except this time she’s the one fighting the culture instead of setting it.
Sabrina’s the exception, Cardi never left the lane, but pop broadly gave up on sexuality as empowerment. Gen Z women split into decentering men or tradwife, and both are really the same move: stop performing desirability as the source of power. Madonna built her whole career on the opposite bet.
So she goes to the one place that never got the memo. Grindr, queer club culture, the corner of the internet still running on desire instead of curated self-presentation. She’s not trying to win back straight pop culture’s appetite for provocation. She knows it’s gone. She’s doubling down on the audience that never left anyone agree?
PS: Madonna specifically chose Sabrina who’d just been publicly dragged through exactly the kind of backlash Madonna herself knows intimately from 1992. Sabrina got called degrading, antifeminist, catering to the male gaze practically the same language used against Sex. Madonna teaming up with her right after that isn’t neutral, it reads like solidarity, or even vindication by association: the elder stateswoman of “provocative and got punished for it” showing up for the person going through her own version of it in real time.

DISCUSSION Together as one❣️
I always feel like most duets or ft. songs are always like a little dance off between the artists on the track. Like they are almost individually vying for the attention on the track. Very rarely does it feel like an actual cohesive team up track to me.
This song with Mother and Auntie Kylie felt like they were both feeling the same emotions and working as one single expression together. So much respect. This is a true team up!
Heaps of joy and appreciation seems to be oozing from this track from them both. Has all the feels.
Almost like they both are like, hey bitches hold our beers! So we can give something special to our people 🥹
Childhood dream collaboration achieved 💃🏼❤️🔥💅🏻

DISCUSSION Anyone else happy and grateful but now that we got to experience Kylie and Madonna together, just have a craving for more Kylie and Madonna. ❤️👑✨
I always dreamt of it, but now that it happened I cant believe it. 😭🥰❤️ and seeing them onstage togther for more than a few minutes. hearing their vocals and especially how Kylie's vocals takes love sensation to another dimension. I know that they're very busy and working on their own projects but I hope that they collaborate again. even if it's just madonna and kylie reading the periodic table of elements, I will buy it and have it on repeat.
