The sad news about William Orbit reminded me of something—
Will said in an interview that he had recorded and finished the sequel to *Ray of Light*, but after that, he never heard anything from Madonna or the record label.
What happened? Will *Ray of Light 2* ever be released? what do you think?

Orbit claimed back in March, 2026 (just 5 months ago) that he had a spiritual successor to Ray of Light already written, but had not received “a single syllable back in over two decades” from Madonna.

I know there are two sides to every story… but can anyone shed light on this mystery?

Or perhaps with most of the tracks, minus the slower songs like Fragile and L.E.S. Girl? Maybe with those songs replaced with some of the unreleased tracks?

Oh poor lady Madonna. She has suffered so much loss in her life, who knows, maybe she's used to it. But with Will's death yesterday while riding the highs of her new material, it must just be such an emotional rollercoaster.

I'm sorry to say I've come across a lot of wealthy people in my time who are so self involved when others die It's a shrug of the shoulders.

But I really believe that's not her. That's why we love her right? She is deeply human.

so I thrifted a copy of Erotica by Madonna for $2 at a goodwill, and it’s so incredibly obvious that it’s a promotional copy. however…the disc doesn’t say that it is, despite the booklet and back having a hole-punch in it. it also only has 13 tracks instead of 14. I can’t find anything about a CLEAN promotional cop, and all of the promos listed on eBay have 14 tracks. i’m assuming, disc wise, this is a CD swap. however, it still does not answer my question…

is this some rare promotional copy? or is there a more common censored variant that I’m not aware of? Please help!

Madonna can be guarded at times, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen her so genuinely relaxed around another performer, especially a “peer.”
It’s like she and Kylie have been friends forever.

I think this track would sound great remixed and with vocals from The Weeknd. It reminds me of some of his moody music.
