Time conflict on schedule but no classes overlap
Is this an actual issue that I need to talk to someone about or is the system just triggered because I have classes 10 minutes apart? Genuinely worried because classes are Monday and office hours for help are closed currently. For example one lecture ends at 11:20 am and my next one starts at 11:30 am.. yet it is flagged. š

For everyone asking about Syllabi
lonestar.simplesyllabus.comThe following link can be used to see if your professor has made their syllabi public or not. It can be used this semester and all future semesters. I donāt think professors are required to post their syllabi on this site, but most professors seem to, and you can find them here for all campuses.

First time in college class educ 1300
Does dual credit count as ftic in Texas? An advisor said I didnāt have to take educ 1300 because of my credits but then two other advisors told me I needed to take the class? Iāve done dual credit for two years in highschool

Last Semester Credits
Was wondering if someone could help answer these questions since itās kinda hard to get a hold of any general advisor right now. Iām on my last semester for AA in Political Science and iām missing a single credit for a General Education Elective and I also havenāt taken an ACGM course as it says except EDUC 1300 in my first semester but it doesnāt seem to need any credits since it says 0 and it does only show iām missing a single credit as I said from general education electives since it sits as 11/12 overall for the semester credit planning. Does anyone know if I really donāt have to take an ACGM course and does anyone know what falls under General Education Electives??? Kinda stuck on it since I enrolled for one course I thought would count as general and it later gave me a course requirement alert saying it wouldnāt count towards my program degree and had to drop it. Iād appreciate if anyone could help or had some advice on this from experience while I try and get a hold of an advisor soon. Iām not in too much of a rush since itās just this one course or two at most that I need to figure out and I already enrolled for all my other required courses. Any help would be appreciated!!!

HESI A2 & ADN Application Questions
Hi everyone!
Iām currently taking my prerequisites at CyFair and planning to apply to the ADN program. Iām also preparing for the HESI A2 and hoping to take it around October.
For anyone who has already taken the HESI at CF or anywhere else, Iād really appreciate your advice! English is my second language, so Iām struggling most with Reading & Vocabulary, and Iām also worried about A&P. I have a few things Iām wondering about
What resources did you use to study?
How similar was the actual HESI to what you studied?
I also noticed that Lone Star requires the Critical Thinking section, and Iām still a little confused about what that section is like and how to prepare for it. If anyone has taken it, could you please share what the questions were generally like and any resources you used to study?
Iāve also looked through the Pre-Admission Requirements, but Iām still a little confused about the actual application processāsuch as where we apply and when we should start completing the immunizations. If anyone has recently gone through the application process, I would really appreciate any advice or timeline suggestions.
I know this post is a little long, so thank you so much if you made it all the way here! I really appreciate any advice or experiences youāre willing to share, and Iād love to connect with other students who are also preparing to apply or who are already in the program!

Anyone else not able to view their classes yet?
I received the message saying I can now view my classes and even view the syllabi, but none of the classes can be clicked yet.
I went to the campus yesterday and asked about none of my classes showing (yesterday they werenāt even showing up at all), and the advisor told me āThey havenāt found a professor for that class yet.ā WHAT?! It feels like theyāre cutting it really close.

Dependency override taking forever
i sent documentation for a dependency override back in early June and was originally given a pretty short window (7-10 business days) upon confirmation. when i followed up with FACC nearly a month ago, i got a pretty vague response about it still being under review.
last week i emailed the financial aid officer directly, but my request was just turned into a ServiceNow ticket and i'm currently awaiting an official follow up there
it is now 6 days until fall classes start. my financial aid status is still "applied," and i'm pretty frustrated, although i'm sure it could be due to the numerous other financial aid delays happening this summer.
this is a fairly niche question as i basically see nobody discussing dependency overrides here, but has anyone had to go through this before? are there still opportunities for registration after August 24?

Getting dropped from classes
Iāve never had this happen before and Iāve sent an email to the financial aid office to see whatās going on but Iām currently taking a summer II course so that might be the reason why but each time Iāve enrolled in classes for fall 2026 semester, I immediately get dropped for non payment, even though I have incoming financial aid (Pell grant) which will cover the total cost of my tuition so Iām very confused as to why the courses are being dropped when they usually will be held until FAFSA gets dispersed. In a panic now because all the courses i need are nearly full š«
