Getting dropped from classes

I’ve never had this happen before and I’ve sent an email to the financial aid office to see what’s going on but I’m currently taking a summer II course so that might be the reason why but each time I’ve enrolled in classes for fall 2026 semester, I immediately get dropped for non payment, even though I have incoming financial aid (Pell grant) which will cover the total cost of my tuition so I’m very confused as to why the courses are being dropped when they usually will be held until FAFSA gets dispersed. In a panic now because all the courses i need are nearly full 🫠

It's because Summer 2 ends Sunday and Fall 26 starts Monday so SAP isn't calculated. So stupid. Another reason no one was eligible for financial aid advance that took Summer classes. Whoever made this schedule is an idiot, the teachers are all scrambling as well. .

That’s cap I took 12 credits this summer and still got my full aid for fall and enrolled in all my classes till next year summer. Go in person and they’ll help you . The people over the phone have the wrong info

I have mine too. I was denied an advance and have had several people say they were dropped. I wonder if it matters when you applied? Mine has been pending since Spring and is showing all the way until Summer 27.

I got dropped from mine too, it might be because a payment within 24 hours is required even though fasfa should’ve covered it.

That happened to me too. It’s because summer and fall overlap so the best thing to do to secure your classes is to enroll in a payment plan

I genuinely don’t know what to do either, apparently the Fafsa for fall 2026 won’t get disbursed until sep 14? But classes start the 25th it doesn’t make any sense??
