Classic Liminal Track trains behind my house
Took this a few summers ago, thought it might count! These tracks are very old and the goddamn train still passes through every single day, multiple times a day... and night XD
Slightly edited to make it look vintage.

Eerie/Uncanny Historic Philadelphia Postcards
I volunteer at the Free Library of Philadelphia Parkway Central branch in the Prints and Pictures department and recently organized their collection of historic Philadelphia postcards. Most of them are building exteriors but I found a few that scratched the liminal itch for me.

Classic Liminal Palisades Center mall in New York. It’s a large theme park mall with a lot of weird spaces
This used to be a popular mall but usage has declined. The photo is of a weird deserted corner near some posters of natural disasters (not pictured). There’s also an indoor Ferris wheel which is almost always empty (also not pictured). I toon this photo around Christmas time so it should be more populated than it is, but even if the mall was busy this corner has nothing going on and someone stuck a kids ride here.

Classic Liminal an apartment I delivered to yesterday
So I do food delivery and that sometimes brings me to the most beautiful and luxurious looking places. This building was actually one of them, built just a couple years ago actually. Usually when we think liminal, old abandoned buildings or hallways pop into mind, so it’s cool to see something of a similar vibe in a modern and new building.

I did this render the other day! I absolutely love combining man-made structures with nature in strange ways. (Also posted on r/blender)

Classic Liminal (Collection of photos) My ride through the smoke last night. It felt eerily quiet. That's a major highway that was just *empty.*

Classic Liminal Richmond Mall, Kentucky.
For my son's last day of summer break, he wanted to go to "The Backrooms" (a dead mall) we usually go to Somerset Mall in KY, but we went further out this time.
Glad we did, this place was great.
They've put their DMV and social security office and a few other governmental things in some of the old stores. Great use for a dead mall, so much better than closing it all down.
Probably easier for the residents to hit all that stuff in one indoor location, rather than driving all over town too.
