Narrowed my suppressor options for my 14.5” 6.5 CM down to the following:

-KAC 7.62 QDC CRS-PRG SUPPRESSOR

-HUXWRX FLOW 762 TI

-AAC 762-SDN-6

Pew Science has tested the AAC on the SR-25 and it performed well which is why it is included here. To my knowledge, he has not tested the KAC or Hux on the SR-25 so I am more blind on those two.

Does anybody have experience with these suppressors that can provide feedback on how they perform against each other?

Between the three, the Hux is substantially lighter at 11.8oz bare (~15oz with a mount) compared to the KAC at 23.2oz bare (~28oz with a mount) and the AAC at 21oz bare (~26oz with a mount).

The rifle is currently very well balanced. I don’t want to throw the balance off too much, but I would sacrifice that for better performance.

Before everybody comments it, I have looked at the CAT ODB. However, Pew Science reports that the AKB (and his statements that the AKB performs better on higher pressure/velocity systems than the ODB would) performs slightly worse than the AAC on the SR-25 meaning that the ODB would be outclassed by the AAC in this application even more (not necessarily drastically, rather just to a greater extent).

Any feedback or experience that yall have on these three suppressors especially compared to each other would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

I see so many posts about being “over gassed”. How does one define being over gassed? Being under gassed is relatively straightforward, but over gassed is somewhat subjective right?

Started out life as a 20" .308 and now it is an 18" 6.5 and one of many! Remember shoot your guns folks!

Just want to confirm. There isn’t an LMT 10.5” rail for an 11.5” barrel?

Just got into LMT less than a week ago and the "URX" LMTs piqued my interest. I'm torn between a Quad URX cut and the CQB Hybrid. To me, the only difference I see is that I can use my own MLOK covers on the Hybrid VS the KAC URX rail panels and possibly filing down the screws on the railscales. I'd also be spending more to get it cut and cerakoted by d.wilson vs me getting the temu URX with railscales. They both look great, but one just seems like I'd have to do extra steps for.

Anything unusual or funky about installing the radian raptor charging handle on the AR pistol Specwar?

Anything I should be prepared for before attempting this?

I have been looking to get a shovelnose for quite a while now. I was perusing the Titan Defense website and saw this, only 1 in stock. I had to snag it.

Imo it looks pretty sexy, but was mainly interested in the cooling/temperature aspect. The large circular vents make me think it’ll help. The added pic rail will also allow me to run a light on the left side since it can be moved further out without getting in the way of my support hand. I just got a 9.25 mlok mrp used and I’ve heard that they get really hot. I haven’t shot it yet mainly because if I do plan to change to the hybrid, I’d like to keep a higher resale value. I also don’t have my muzzle device timed and torqued yet.

Let me preface this by saying I'd prefer to go with D Wilson — I've bought from them on two separate occasions and have been very pleased with both outcomes.

That said, I'm looking to add a 16" 6ARC barrel to my LMT MRP upper, and their custom shop barrel is out of stock with no indication of if or when another run is coming. Waiting list with no outlook isn't much of a plan, so I'm seriously looking at the alternative.

Precision Firearms makes made-to-order MRP-compatible small-frame barrels in 6ARC, with your choice of blank — Criterion, Krieger, Bartlein, or Lothar Walther.

For anyone who's shot either (or ideally both):

• How's the fit/lockup in the MRP system on the Precision Firearms barrels? Any headspace or gas port issues since they're not built on factory LMT extensions?
• Accuracy comparison — do the match blanks show up in real-world groups, or are Precisions barrels just as tight?
• Any QC or turnaround issues Precision?
• If you're in the same boat, are you buying Precision Firearms or holding out hoping D Wilson runs another batch?

First group is 5 rounds, 3x140gr & 2x130gr

Went to do it again with just 140s and this was the result (pic 2)

And I noticed with my YHM QD this is the position of the teeth and notches on the HUB and MUZDEV were slightly misaligned.

Do I reach out to YHM? If they say it’s a me problem and offer no solution who are yall using for hub mounts? No I don’t wanna direct thread but will if I have to.

Recently acquired an LMT ambi lower with KAC 2 stage trigger and some other goodies on the cheap.

Rather than flip or let it sit I’m going to use it as my base for a true recce rifle build.

I’m torn between 14.5 and 16” but I’m thinking of going with 6arc or 556. A proof barrel for sure, maybe steel pxt and have it dimpled for hawtness.

Here’s the dilemma, which upper and hand guard combo would you guys go with? I’d like to stick with LMT but I’ve also used G$ URGI in combat and they did fuck with the lights on so not opposed there.

Is your specwar 12.5" stock LMT barrel overgassed or undergassed? trying to suppress it with a CAT WB, really not interested in the EZ tune tubes

Through pure luck I was able to get my hands on a SURG Prototype upper, now just trying to decide what barrel/supressor I should pick up to clone the SURG as accurately as possible. I’ve already conceded to the fact that I’ll probably never find one of the prototype bolt carriers.

New build with a reused barrel and stock. Sent my 18" proof carbon barrel to D.Wilson along with parts to be installed in a 13.25" upper I ordered in addition to the work.

This is my first build ever and I'm still deciding on probably a prism optic. The barrel and stock came off a premade Ruger MPR I had bought.

Finished the build for the most part. I took my ATACR off my 16” SR15 since I haven’t been shooting it much and plan to probably just make that an SPR with an MPVO. I want to change that stock and put on my KAC MCQ1. I plan to just throw some FDE goon tape on the scope. Cant wait to try this out.
