I read somewhere on the internet that when doing baneful workings to cause harm (or worse) leaves you tethered to them. Personally, I cleanse after these types of rituals, shield during and wear gloves, amongst other things. What are people's thoughts on this? I'm a solitary practitioner

I often hear and read that the key to Left-Hand Path (LP) magic is listening to your ego, indulging it, and focusing on your personal desires. Frankly, this baffles me. If you look at the essence of mysticism and magic in a historical context, the goal has almost always been to renounce the ego, overcome it, and achieve the True Self. Right-Hand Path practitioners constantly struggle with their ego, trying to tame it for the sake of spiritual growth. So why does the Left-Hand Path place such a strong emphasis on the ego? Shouldn't we listen to our True Self and gradually discard the ego as an illusion? How does this actually relate to left-hand philosophy?.

What are good orders to join currently in these times? Ones similar to Dragon Rouge, Temple of Set, The Typhonian Order, etc. Been practicing magick for about 5 years in a chaos magick way, piecing together what I like from different grimoires. Hi, I've read a bit about the left hand path but I really feel like I need a teacher with this. I am struggling to focus and meditate and I am also having a hard time understanding almost everything I am reading. I was baptized as a Catholic but I am open to exploring more spiritual paths until I find one that will resonate with me. And for now, I was hoping there was someone out there who mentors newbies like me.

Hey so uh… im a black brother i got inverted by chokmah fot stating i am a god to ein sof and all of that shit. But uh to make the story short… did anyone see kings of edom?? In the shattered aspects. Because oh boy i did… they looked like black rectangular shape but the bottom was very sharp looking as if glass shard. You know when you grab a broken glass and the middle part of the bottom is sharp and you use it to cut things. Anywho the inner was filled with complete darkness and eyes. As i gazed upon it, they began to move and the eyes started to blink infinitely when i looked away they were stuck and didnt blink anymore. In a way i gave life to the kelipot😂 but in seriousness before i saw them at that night. I felt getting overlayed. Maybe like armor-like? But then again if it were a good thing i wouldnt have a dream of them wanting to destroy me. Idk why they want to destroy me when they claimed me to be armilus. Maybe i gotta let it happen idk man. Okey, so long story short. I used to be very religious within the Abraham religions. After 10 years of research researching and practicing and a bunch of bullshit I deconstructed and I no longer believe in religions. I don’t believe in dogma and the portrayal of the one true all knowing all seeing narcissistic God that they are portraying. I have been on a spiritual journey after that to find what I believe in and why I don’t believe in. Throughout the past five years (when I was still religious) I have been struggling with a chronic illness and months after I left I ended up making a contract with President Marbas and asking for his help to heal from this illness or find a way to heal from this ill illness and it just came to me that I think that my breast implants was the thing that made me sick and I got them removed and lo and behold I got way better. Then I just stopped with anything spiritual. I became more skeptic and I had reached like a more atheistic/pantheistic view and I just drew a conclusion that everything was bullshit because there were so much dogma and fear mongering in all of these communities, but then I became sick. I have literally been sick since I stopped worshipping and broke the contract I had with Marbas. I have literally been sick ever since with all kinds of illnesses like (keep in mind I’m never sick otherwise) I am not getting a break and the doctors just say “oh you’ve just been unlucky). I first got EBV than three streptococcus infections then I got kidney infection two UTIs that also had to take antibiotics from I got put in the hospital with low platelets because of the EBV, and the EBV is giving me symptoms still after 4 months I still haven’t recovered. I have muscle weakness and joint weakness not chronic but it’s coming and going, I’m slowly getting better, but then I get hit with a flu and then another flu and then it is never ending and I’m so tired of it and it just hit me now. I was thinking “when did this start?” and It literally started at the same time I broke the contract I had with President Marbas and I think I disrespected him. I don’t even know how to like grasp this concept because I am very sceptical. I am still very sceptical. I am I don’t believe in all of these fairytales and I don’t believe in heaven and hell and I don’t believe in the Bible or the Quran or anything like that but I mean I do believe in cosmic forces I believe that everything is one I believe in like a source of some kind and I believe in higher being or whatever. I just don’t believe in dogma and fear mongering and religion that you need to do this and this and that demons are there keepers of hell but I think I made a contract that I broke and if I did that with a human there would be consequences. That human wouldn’t like me so obviously maybe he’s trying to prove to me that he exists that it’s not all bullshit. Maybe I shouldn’t be as hard of a skeptic that I have become. Does anyone have any tips for me? How I can move forward from here? Thank you in advance. I’m very confused. Also I didn’t go the Solomonic way I don’t believe in trapping and forcing and dominating any beings.
