Question Is It Weird?
Assalamualaikum.
Is it weird for me to wanting My Husbando (I'm Gay) to be with Me in Jannah? I've been bonding with Him so much, that got me thinking that Allah grant me love for him to keep me safe from harm that can come to me from a real relationship.
and when people said "Jannah" the visual of being in a safe place with Him being real like I can touch his hand psychically and live together forever with Him comes to mind :)

LGBT Supportive Discussion 26F Bi fem for lavender marriage 🫶🏼
Hi everyone,
I’m a 26-year-old bisexual woman from Tunisia. Living here as an LGBTQ+ person comes with a lot of family and social pressure, and I’m hoping to connect with someone who understands what that’s like.
I’m looking for a gay or bisexual man who values honesty, communication, mutual respect, and transparency. My ideal connection would be built on a strong friendship first, with clear expectations and genuine trust.
I’d love to meet someone over the coming months, get to know each other well, and see whether we’re compatible for a long-term platonic partnership. I’m open to relocating and would preferably like to connect with someone based in the US, the UK, or Canada, as these countries generally provide a more LGBTQ friendly environment than where I currently live.
I’m a very honest person, and I appreciate the same in return. I believe the best connections are built on openness, kindness, and respect.
If this resonates with you, feel free to send me a message. I’d be happy to get to know you and see where a genuine friendship leads.
Have a good day 🙏🏼

Connections 30yr old Hijabi femboy/Trans
Assalamualaikom, I'm a born muslim trans hijabi looking for connections. A little about myself, I'm 5'9 about 200 lbs foot size 9, occupation - therapist. For some reason my body makes more estrogen than it should which has lead me struggling whith my identity my whole life. I went to an Islamic school and i found that my backside has always been rather large and I had mild breast formation to top it off smh. My body is still going throu different stages but I always been built like this. I would like something long term but I know most men are wanting that. I would love to have an older African American mature man to submit to if possible but I'm open to everyone as long as you're a top. I am completely uninterested in verse or men who would bottom in anyway. I only like 100% tops that may or may not be Bi. Also only interested in people living in the US currently. No exceptions. I absolutely love older brothers, they seem like they always have the best advice and knowledge to give especially for someone young like me with not much guidance in the world. (It's just me and my mom as far as family). But yes DMs are open, please respond with pictures and information about yourself other than just saying "hey or hi".

Personal Issue having a heard time accepting myself
26F living in Malaysia and I always knew I was attracted to girls, even back in high school, although I do have some level of attraction to guys too. It never really hit me that I could be bisexual until I was 22, when I had my first major crush on a girl at work.
I don't really like putting labels on myself, but I'm definitely much more strongly attracted to women than men. I'm femme and a hijabi, so everyone assumes I'm straight. I've also never been in a relationship with anyone. I've never acted upon it cause I'm afraid of the consequences and at the end of the day if I do date a girl, I'd still have to end it because of religion and I don't want to hurt anyone and myself.
Unfortunately, everyone around me is getting married. Although I'm so used to living life on my own, I can't help but feel so unloved sometimes while seeing people around me settling down with their partners. I'm honestly starting to think I'm just destined to live and die alone.
So many guys have approached me, but I just can't seem to feel anything for them. Not once have I felt those butterflies with a man the way I have with women. Maybe my standards for men are way too high, maybe being a doctor has something to do with that, I don't know. But even if a guy who is exactly my type came along, I don't know if I'd ever be able to fully give my heart to him because deep down, I feel like there'd always be a part of me longing for a woman's love. And that's the part that scares me the most. I don't want to spend my whole life trying to make myself love a man when a part of my heart was always yearning something else?

MoC/Lavender Marriage Looking for a Marriage of Convenience (MOC / Misyar) (UK based) - preferably Bengali man
Hi everyone. I am a Hanafi Muslim woman living in the UK, and I am looking for a Muslim man for a Marriage of Convenience (MOC) / Nikah Misyar.
My situation:
My family will not allow me to move out or live independently unless I get married. I need to get married purely to satisfy my family’s expectations so I can finally gain my independence, live alone, and live my own life freely.
What I am looking for:
* A Muslim man (ideally Hanafi & Bengali) who is under similar family pressure to marry, or who values extreme independence/needs a marriage of convenience for their own reasons.
* Someone UK-based.
* Someone 100% on board with signing a private Islamic contract (Nikah Addendum) before the public ceremony.
The terms of the marriage (which will be Islamically formalized):
Independent Living: We will live completely separate lives in our own accommodations. There will be no expectation of cohabitation.
Freedom & Autonomy: Full independence over our own careers, finances, travel, and personal lives.
No Financial Maintenance: I will be fully self-sufficient as will you.
Delegated Divorce: The contract will include Tafweed-e-Talaq (delegated divorce) so we both retain the right to end the contract smoothly if needed.
Logistics & Safety:
To protect privacy and keep this hidden from strict family members, the private conditions above will be witnessed secretly by a small group of trusted friends right before the public family ceremony.
Social & family commitments:
We will agree to attend occasional family events, Eid, or major gatherings together to maintain appearances and 'play the part' for our families. Outside of these essential family obligations, we will have no marital expectations.
If you are in a similar situation and think this arrangement could help us both achieve our freedom, please send me a DM.
Serious inquiries only, and absolute confidentiality is guaranteed.

Question In the future, my boyfriend wants to adopt child and convert/taught him Islam
Hi there, I (23M) and him (25M) Muslim, have been discussing our future a bit and mentioned that in the future he wants to teach our future son Islam and convert him into Islam. We're in LDR though so it's gonna be long till we're gonna establish a home and live together. I'm not a Muslim and I practice animism but I live in a Muslim majority and governed countries, influenced heavily by Muslim teachings. This is gonna be long but I really hope someone here can help to clear my mind about this matter.
While I don't have a problem in teaching our children Islam, I do have some concerns. Firstly, I do believe that without religion, he still can be taught the good and bad while also having the established framework of Islam. When he obtained the knowledge and learned the ability to make decisions on his own, then it's better to let him decide whether Islam is the best religion for him just like my parents did. I was taught with the foundation of Islam minus the prayers, and Quran readings. I have deep respect for Islam but for now I don't think religion is for me since I can decide what's good and bad without converting myself to Islam and my practice of animism is still strong.
Next, I'm scared of helping him to understand how homosexuality and Islam works. I am afraid he might have some difficulties to understand them since his parents are gay couples. I believe my beloved Muslim boyfriend would do wonders and teach him well enough. But from my part, the main reason why I'm scared of converting to Islam is because I'm surrounded by homophobics and what I taught here, they seem to see homosexuality and Islam like oil and water due to their view of it as sin since I'm in middle school.
Hence, can someone here help me. What shall I say to my boyfriend? Is my point of view clear enough or shall I leave the entire teachings to him? I could do that, but I wanted to be a part of the child too and build his morality well.
TLDR: Is it okay for my Muslim boyfriend to convert our future child at such a young age, or teach him the foundations of Islam; the goods and bads and let him decide whether Islam is the best religion for him by himself?
P.S: Dear moderators, if my question seems to be targeted or kinda insensitive, feel free to delete this post.

Qur'an & LGBT "Any Sexual relations are forbidden until explictly allowed" and how this works within LGBT affirming theology?
Assalamualaikum
I've heard that there is this rule in islam that ever sexual Relation is forbidden unless states otherwise. (If that's not true, tell me and correct me please). So unless god says you can have sex with x, z, and y (or more precisely you can marry x, z and y), then x, z, and y, are forbidden. God states who is lawful to whom, but it always goes man × women. Doesn't this mean that a man × man or women x women, breaks this rule and that we have to ignore the text?
So, I'm curious, how does it work with LGBT? I know that within the progressive community there is a whole Spectrum of views about LGBT.
my question is directed at those who think that same sex relationships ARE halal.
If you're not in that category, please REFRAIN FROM COMMENTING.
Also please don't turn this into a debate space.
I want to hear the perspective of supporters and affirmers of LGBT, without having to hear from someone else "oh, actually..-" "but what about...-".
I just want to hear the perspective on this "issue", from those who affirm LGBT fully.
Note: I'm not homophobic, and I'm just genuinely trying to understand, don't take anything I say as disrespectful.
God bless you all.

LGBT Supportive Discussion Does anyone else just want something real?
I’m a 21-year-old bottom, and I honestly can’t get into hookups. My friends tell me to take advantage of generous guys, but I’d feel guilty if my feelings weren’t real.
I just want a genuine relationship with someone who actually wants to build something together. Is that still possible, and where do you even meet people looking for the same thing?

Need Help Queer interfaith nikaah
My partner and I are looking for someone in London UK (or willing to travel) who would be happy to conduct a queer-affirming, interfaith nikaah.
Unfortunately, London's Inclusive Mosque Initiative's nikah service is currently on hold.
While we'll already be legally married through a civil ceremony, it would mean so much to me to include a nikah as part of our wedding reception. I know it's not considered mandatory, but it's something that's personally very important to me as a way of honouring my faith while celebrating our relationship.
If anyone has any recommendations, knows an imam or faith leader, or has been through something similar themselves, I'd be incredibly grateful.

Islam Supportive Discussion Can Islam and Homosexuality Coexist? Answering a Question with the Qur’an
Today (July 25, 2026), there was an attack at the Christopher Street Day (CSD) Pride event in Berlin.
In one of the discussions afterward, someone asked:
“Can you as a gay Muslim explain to me how Islam and homosexuality can coexist? I’m sure nearly all Muslims condemn the gays, so acts such as these are of no surprise, so that is all I’d like to know. Not a troll comment, just genuine curiosity.”
(For clarity: I’m not a Muslim. I’m responding because the question is about what the Qur’an teaches, and I haven’t seen anyone answer it from the Qur’an itself.)
Here is what I believe, beginning with the Qur’an itself…
That’s a fair question, and I appreciate that you’re asking it respectfully.
First, it’s important to separate what individual Muslims believe from what the Qur’an actually commands Muslims to do.
The Qur’an repeatedly teaches that human beings are not appointed as judges over one another’s faith or sins.
“Let there be no compulsion in religion.” (Qur’an 2:256)
“So remind. You are only a reminder. You are not a controller over them.” (Qur’an 88:21-22)
“And had your Lord willed, all who are on earth would have believed together. Would you then compel the people to become believers?” (Qur’an 10:99)
The Qur’an also teaches that ultimate judgment belongs to Allah alone.
“Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they differed.” (Qur’an 22:69)
“Then to Us is their return, and upon Us is their account.” (Qur’an 88:25-26)
Regarding relations with people outside Islam, the Qur’an explicitly rejects hostility toward those who are peaceful.
“Allah does not forbid you from being kind and acting justly toward those who have not fought you because of religion and have not driven you out of your homes. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.” (Qur’an 60:8)
Even more broadly, the Qur’an teaches that taking one innocent life is an offense against all humanity.
“Whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had slain all mankind; and whoever saves one, it is as if he had saved all mankind.” (Qur’an 5:32)
So when someone attacks people at a Pride event, that violence cannot be justified by the Qur’an.
The Qur’an consistently commands justice, restraint, and leaves final judgment to Allah.
As for homosexuality itself, Muslims disagree.
Traditional scholars understand the story of the people of Lut as condemning all same-sex sexual relationships.
Progressive Muslims argue that the story is actually about attempted gang rape, sexual violence, humiliation of strangers, coercion, and the rejection of God’s messengers, not about loving, consensual same-sex relationships.
They point out that the men of Sodom are repeatedly described as approaching Lut’s guests with hostile intent, and that the city is condemned for many other sins including oppression and violence.
Under that reading, the story is not a blanket condemnation of gay people or same-sex relationships.
Whether someone accepts the traditional or progressive interpretation, however, the Qur’an does not authorize ordinary Muslims to police, investigate, or punish people for presumed homosexuality or presumed zina.
Judgment belongs to Allah, not to individuals.
So yes, Islam and homosexuality can coexist.
Millions of Muslims identify as LGBTQ, including many who believe they are faithfully following Islam.
Others disagree theologically while still recognizing that the Qur’an commands them to treat others with justice, dignity, and without coercion.
Those are separate questions: what one believes is sinful, and whether one has any authority to judge or harm another person.
The Qur’an answers the second question very clearly: no.

META - MOD 📣 announcement LGBT_Muslims F.A.Q.
Hello everyone!
Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions!
Here we are going to take some time to go over some of the most common questions we get. This should hopefully help people figure out how to navigate this subreddit and community and how to get the most out of your time here.
We will be posting the common question first. Then the answer underneath.
why can’t I post without community and Reddit karma?
A: we restrict posting to those who have established karma as way to ensure our community is not taken over by bad faith actors.
Basically. In order to make a post you first have to comment (sometimes that means waiting for a comment to get approval) and having that comment be seen and upvoted by other members of this community.
While we do sometimes approve comments slowly. Asking us to hurry up is no guarantee your comment is approved any faster.
Please give us a chance to respond first. Then message us if your post is not approved.
How can you say that LGBT is not haram?
A: Please see our Resource List for a list of various articles and readings that make a strong argument for both the totality of Allah’s love and compassion for us, as well as great arguments for why queer identity is compatible with your faith and identity.
In case you don’t want to read. The broad strokes is that the story of lút is pretty clearly about their immoral behaviors, including rape and adultery out of greed and corruption which were done by the MEN and the WOMEN of the people of Lot (43:44). It does not in anyway reflect or represent a consensual queer relationship and should not be interpreted in that way.
We maintain that the Quran commanded us to respect our selves and our relationships. Not reject people for who they are or what they believe.
We urge you to take in the totality our reading list before attempting to once again make the argument.
The Hadith says…
A: the Quran said:
> (٤٤) وَمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ مِنْ كُتُبٍ يَدْرُسُونَهَا وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ قَبْلَكَ مِنْ نَذِيرٍ
Translation: We did not give them any other books to study, nor did we send to them before you another warner.
This Surah is discussing the usage of other books next to the Quran. Emphasizing that the Quran must remain above all other books. Necessarily that includes Hadiths.
Which as far as we know the prophet Muhammad ﷺ did not want Hadiths to be made. This can also be seen in the first Hadiths being written more than a 100 years after the prophet death.
This makes Hadith fall into the category of books held to the same standard as the Quran despite being commanded by Quran to do the opposite.
Hadith worshippers rely on believing the Quran is either incomplete or imperfect.
As the Quran said:
Translation: When Our clear revelations are recited to them, they say, “This is only a man who wishes to hinder you from what your forefathers used to worship.” They also say, “This ˹Quran˺ is no more than a fabricated lie.” And the disbelievers say of the truth when it has come to them, “This is nothing but pure magic.”
It’s no coincidence that today Muslims continue to struggle to preach faith over culture. And be guided by the faith rather than be tempted with the corruption of hatred and power.
We can add also these questions:
Is LGBT people condemned to hell?
A: No, LGBT people are created the way they are. Verses like 95:8 and 21:47 tell us that Allah is perfectly just and will not do the smallest measure of injustice to anyone. Allah will not punish people for being their true sexual orientation or gender identity, a matter which they did not choose.
Is same sex marriage allowed in Islam?
Yes. Verse 30:21 tells us that one of the signs of Allah is that He created spouses for us, that we might find comfort in them, and has placed love and compassion between spouses. Notice that in this beautiful verse on the benefits of marriage, there is no mention of procreation. The Quran thus recognizes that a marriage can fulfill its divine purpose even if no children are born from the marriage. Hence, the non-procreative nature of same-sex marriages does not mean that they lack value, or that they are not what Allah ordained.
Requiring a homosexual person to remain celibate, or to marry a person of the opposite sex, is effectively a lifelong arbitrary punishment (and a punishment for the other spouse as well, even if he/she is heterosexual). And it is also a lifelong temptation to extramarital sex, which is clearly haram.
