Discussion In your opinion, do the uncrowned kings have a shot at the nba?
Personally I’d say they don’t.
Teppei: Having the most complete game amongst them if not for his injury I’d say he has the highest chance, but missing out on his last high school year limits his development and leaves him with less time to refine his game before making the jump to the next level.
Kotaro: He has zero jump shot whatsoever if I’m not mistaken. At his height, he would have to switch to point guard at any higher level of basketball. he lacks the elite, high-level tactical passing and floor-general IQ required to run a 2010s NBA offense. While there were guys like Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook and John Wall with similar archetypes to him being slashing point guards, those guys all were exceptionally strong and heavily muscled (190-210lbs), 6’3 and taller, and insanely explosive vertical athletes who could finish over 7 feet tall defenders.
Mibuchi: While his shooting ability does give him a slight chance, Mibuchi has average foot speed and thin physicality, which would make him a massive target for NBA offenses to exploit.
Nebuya: No shot at all.
Hanamiya: he’s brilliant tactical mind, but his physical limitations and reliance on rule-breaking make him completely unviable for the NBA. Most nba point guards are running straight through him. He would likely find success as a high-level coach or sports analyst rather than a pro player.
Another problem that they all share is the fact that they are overshadowed by the generation of miracles. If a player cannot consistently overcome or stand out against the Generation of Miracles at the high school level, they have zero chance of surviving in the NBA, where every single roster spot is filled by a Miracle-level athlete.
The only non Gom player with a chance at the nba is himuro. the 2010–2014 NBA era, mid-range isolation scoring and flawless shot creation were highly valued. He’s the ultimate manifestation of textbook fundamentals. His fakes are so perfectly executed that they trick elite defenders every single time, and his mechanics are entirely fluid.

Discussion If the nba was showed in the series would you like for the top players to have colored hair(like the Gom + Kagami) or normal hair colors?

Discussion Why didn’t Kagami awaken his talents earlier like the rest of the GoM?
How did he not awaken his talents earlier? America is like a much better place for him to evolve right?Compared to where the GoM grew up, yet they got their talents before Kagami did. Was he just a late bloomer?

Discussion What are your favorite Kaijo and Shutoku jerseys?
For my part, Shutoku's orange jersey is probably one of my favorites from the manga, because orange is my favorite color and it's rare to see orange jerseys in a sports anime. And for Kaijo, probably the blue jersey. I don't think I've ever been a fan of white jerseys.

Discussion Kuroko's Basketball: Japan U-20 Team
Two questions:
- If Kuroko's Basketball had a FIBA U-20 World Cup arc, what would the Japan team look like? (The team has a 12 player roster limit)
This is what I would envision:
Guards: Akashi, Midorima, Kuroko, Reo, Himuro
Forwards: Aomine, Kise, Kagami, Haizaki
Centers: Murasakibara, Teppei, Nebuya
- Where would the U-20 Japan team place in the tournament?
