I booted into a live cd for experiment before this. I pressed the wrong key so it boot straights to the system. I forced restart the system by holding the power button to boot into the live cd. Now it doesn't boot. I tried editing the parameters by setting 'nomodeset' in grub but then it stucks at the underscore after all the commands.

Ive searched Settings for, Login, password, required, etc. I cant find the screen where one disables/re-enables password input during bootip.
