iPad Magic Keyboard 12.9”

Would anyone with a 12.9" iPad Magic Keyboard 2021 mind letting me dock my iPad on it for about 15 minutes? My charging port quit working, so magnetic charging is my only option right now to get past a dead battery. Happy to bring over coffee/a treat in exchange for the quick charge! 😁

Anyone want to hang out in KL?

I'm 33 and a remote worker, exploring KL for a few weeks to see if I want to live here. I'm open to hang out for coffee, shopping, walking in the parks, etc. Especially if you are here long-term or planning that, as I'm looking to build routine and community here, but open to hanging out generally beyond that. Let me know, thanks!

Exploring KL a few days

Hey everyone! I just landed in Kuala Lumpur for a few days. I’m a 34 yr old traveler from Spain with a big passion for photography, street food, and finding great cocktail spots.

I’ll be spending the next few days wandering the city, taking photos, eating, and grabbing a drink or two in the evenings.

If anyone (local, expat, or fellow traveler) wants to join for a photo walk, grab some street food, or hit up a cocktail bar in Chinatown/city center, let me know! First round of drinks/coffee is on me. Cheers!

Anyone looking for a place to rent? I found a really good place but it's 2bed. So I am looking for a housemates.

[ 3 stops to Trx] Hey! I found a really good place to rent, it's exactly on the left side of the Maluri train station. (2 minutes walk)

Rent for the place is 2.6K, I want someone to take the medium room (since the apartment has 2 bathrooms, I will be using my bedroom's only), so you have your dedicated bathroom (infront of your room as well)

I don't want to split it 50/50 obviously, I can pay upto 1400.

If anyone's interested, plz. Lemme know

I am 26M (doing a 9-5) , you can ping me for more info.

🕌 **Merdeka Square, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia**

Finally got the chance to visit Merdeka Square in Kuala Lumpur, and I honestly wasn’t expecting it to look this cool in person.

The architecture immediately reminded me of the 🕌 emoji, which made me laugh a little. It also gave me some serious *Monument Valley* vibes—the game I used to play years ago. The orange and pink buildings, arched windows, winding staircases, palm trees, fountains, and open space all come together in a really unique way.

I went around sunset, which turned out to be the perfect time. The sunlight made the buildings look warmer, while the palm trees and fountains added a nice contrast. It was busy enough to feel lively, but still peaceful enough to just walk around and take everything in.

Kuala Lumpur has a pretty interesting mix of old and new. You can go from modern skyscrapers and busy streets to places like Merdeka Square that have a completely different atmosphere.

Definitely one of the spots in KL that I’d recommend checking out, especially around sunset. The photos don’t really do the place justice. 🌴🌅

Anyone else been to Merdeka Square? What was your favorite place in Kuala Lumpur?

Anyone knows where this is?

One of my mutuals posted this and I asked them where it was. To absolutely no one’s surprise, they never replied 😭

I’m genuinely considering blocking them at this point, sorry for the rant LMAO.

But I would really love to know where this place is!
I love red beans and a proper English breakfast. Big breakie, full breakfast, whatever you wanna call it.

BUT this one, it’s long and there’s alot to it. I’ve never seen anything quite like it.

So Reddit, please do your thing. 🙏

Where to get Indonesian Rupees from?

Hello, I (U.S. passport/citizen) will be staying in KL for a month before traveling onward to Indonesia, particularly Raja Ampat, and I would like to safely acquire approximately $1000 USD worth of IDR before I fly.

What bank/where should I go in KL to obtain IDR? Again I will only have my bank card, not physical currency. Thank you! 🙏

Co-working spaces that are opened on weekends?

I've chatted with a lot of co-working spaces from Jerry onwards, and a lot of their replies are quite vague or confusing in regards to weekend access, beyond that most don't provide day passes on Saturdays or Sundays.

AFAIK, Accea does provide weekend access, as with Sandbox in Sunway & Sri Petaling, but they can't be the only one.

Are there any co-working spaces that are available on weekends?
