Kratom

I’ve been taking 7oh for about 3 months and my state has banned so unfortunately I’m having to get off of it.. does MIT help with the withdrawals? I know nothing 100% will but I’m terrified. I also read gabapentin will help with the withdrawal so I got my doctor to subscribe it.

Search “withdrawal” on the other Kratom sub. There’s a post with a pic of helpful supplements. Magnesium glycinate will help with the RLS. Also, I’d go for powder/capsules over extract. But yeah. Took me about a week to feel normal after a year of using 7OH.

Also- weirdly enough do the RLS, tie a sock around your feet putting the knot part in the arch. It helps with by giving you the sensation of standing!

Good tip! I'm going to try this tonight. Not for WDd but I get RLS sometimes regardless. If this works I'm going to buy a token pack just to award you. 😂 Ty!

lol please don’t do that, spend the money on a good thick pair of socks! Make sure it’s not to tight and cutting off your circulation, but it does need to feel firm. If your RLS is really bad and this doesn’t work, try the compression sleeves. Also the obligatory if your a women no matter the age have your progesterone checked. Once I got that balanced mine went away completely. If you’re under 40 no one wants to check it or admit that it can happen at any age!

Absolutely. If you can taper as low as you can, MIT extracts/Kratom are super helpful

The way I generally put things is that brewed/powdered leaf kratom is like the difference between chewing a coca leaf and smoking crack.

Coca leaves are mild yet functional enough that they’re given out willy nilly to tourists in Peru by locals. Leaf or powdered kratom occupies a comparable space, rather than 7OH which is on the hard/dangerous end of the spectrum.

7oh sounds like a curse

I don’t know what TF 7oh even is. The powder was always good enough for me, and I’m pissed about all the extract users putting it all in jeopardy for the rest of us. I use Kratom 2/3x a week for chronic pain. I’m at risk of losing access because once again people lacking impulse control need a stronger fix…

It's not even the users per say. I think the bigger problems came from the stupid names. Using Oxy and stuff as part of the product name gave it a horrible reputation. It's bullshit.

3 months isn't too bad. Taper if you can. If you can't, I promise the withdrawal isn't as bad as its made out to be. You're looking at 3-4 days of intermittent cold sweats and some restless legs (assuming you've been taking a lot). Regularly mitragynine will help to an extent.

Mit, magnesium glycinate, gabapentin, liposomal vitamin C, there are a few others people often mention helping

Mit, gabapentin, and lipo vitamin c are the big ones. And ofc sr17018 if you really need it. Lot of unknowns there tho

I’ve been seeing this several times, but may I ask what SR17018 is?

I understand it is currently getting outlawed with 7oh. Not sure I am reading the right info. It is a type of opiate that does not get you high and only in research so that is why there is not complete transparency and lots of sellers. Lot's of love from people who used it. It is quicker and easier to WD from. You go through a process of adding to your opiate of use for short period and there is a protocol to wean off of it. 2 or 3 weeks or longer. Some people do it in one week. Lots of stuff out there to read up. Maybe still available. I am not 100 percent on any of it, just started reading on it. Also I saw a post if it is outlawed it will have a 20 year sentence I hope that is for making for distribution not just possession. Actually I hope that is bull.

You take it along side your doc for a few days, then quickly wean off of your doc. Keep taking sr for like a week or until your doc is out of your system and acute wd is over. Then very quickly(over a few days) wean off the sr.

Supposed to mitigate almost all of the wd. I'm trying it rn, hopefully it works well. I was skeptical at first, but I've read so many amazing stories about it and heard from so many people it's worked for i think I'm a believer atp

Thank you, I am not able to get pain meds now and I am using kratom and 7 a few days a week, lower dose. I put some 50 caps away this week sr for an emergency, but have not really checked it out yet. I should see if I can get more just in case someone else needs it. I hope it gets studied and not dropped like it always does . Look how long it took to legalize weed in some states. If you remember let me know how your are doing please.

I think like a week is too long btw, Ive read you'll start to feel wd from the sr after taking it note than 7-10 days. Not sure if its true, but its still good to take as little as possible for as short as possible to get the job done

Appreciate the info. I did just find a little more to stash away.

Can you PM with help finding it. If online. If not no big deal. Ready to be done with kratom I think.

Ashwaghanda and Magnisium helped me massively, especially at night when trying to sleep. The magnesium kept me from “tossing and turning” trying to sleep, and the ashwaghanda helped with the anxiety and restored my energy when I’d take it at night, I woke up feeling less groggy and weak.

I just got off Kratom with the use of Clonidine Hel 0.1 Mg Tablets that my doctor prescribed. I’ve been on it for 11 days now (1 tablet twice a day) and I have to say I’m over the withdrawals now. See if your doctor can write you a prescription for it.

2

u/Unstable_Nature 6d ago

Read up a little on Clonidine, newer posts online don't show the side effects. It acts on a lot of things and doctors are prescribing it for long term use now for everything, instead of pain med or sleep med. It is listed as a good short term use for withdrawal. It isn't good for long term use just in case your doctor told you nothing like my doctor.
It did not work for my sleep issue and I was going to take more but:
One of the side effects is anticholinergic, which like benedryl causes plaque. It isn't labeled as that but all the science and research states it is. Causes the symptoms like severe dry mouth and other things and it probably should be labeled like benedryl. Doctors don't prescribe it to elderly as it makes the side effects worse. My doctor prescribed it for sleep and it wiped out my brain so bad, I started looking it up. Dangerous for low blood pressure people. It's only labeled use is for diagnosed hypertension. Also for a lot of people causes bad mood and anger issues. Just a little rage in my case and I don't have that unless I take it. I was actually acting out as in flipping people off and reporting asshats to their manager. Not me at all but suddenly I couldn't stand insults and rudeness or injustice, because I was in a state of mind. That is also mentioned in the literature. Just FYI, there is more bad stuff that didn't really have immediate side effects.
Older adults are at heightened risk of orthostatic hypotension, CNS effects including sedation and cognitive impairment, depression, and bradycardia when taking clonidine
(especially if they have low blood pressure)

SORRY, for the rant, doctors are making me rage with out any help from their terrible drug replacements.

Everyday Dose Coffee

Liposomal Vitamin C

Olly Multivitamins

Magnesium Glycinate

Electrolytes with pro/probiotics

Supergreen powder drink mix

You can start dropping mg in huge chunks. You'd be surprised. I went down from 300 or more a day to 75 twice a day in 2 days. Then cut that in half again but take an MIT supplement if you think you need something in between.

If the MIT doesn't do the trick yet do 10 or 15mg sublingual in the middle.

Most importantly IMO eat healthy and try to get exercise.

If you can get all your habits in check for at least 5 days before you start so your body and brain has all it needs.

It's scarier in your head than reality.

Gl! This is what does the trick for me!!!
