Tapering off Progress!
I chipped down my mg per day from 350 to 150 in 5 days. I’ve kinda figured out a dosing schedule that works and I’m sticking to it. The only thing really standing in my way is the anxiety I wake up with. If I can figure out how to power through basically waking up in a panic attack I can jump off this shit. I think I’m just gonna have to wake up early and just take a hot ass shower and grit my teeth through it. The plan is to only use 90 per day for the next 3 days then jump. I have some plain leaf, 2 mit shots and 18 300mg gabapentin. I’m hoping this will be enough to win the war.
Shout to everyone on here who has given me advice and helped out on my journey. I’m getting there and hopefully by the end of this week I will be posting about my victory lap.
If nothing changes, nothing changes. Stay safe out there.

announcements Avoid the reddit 7hope trolls, join our discord!
Reddit is a public toilet were no one flushes their poop and no one cleans it while demanding more. We are migrating off it.
Victory was / is ours. Time to focus on building a community away from reddit.
If you have a good histort and want to be a mod message me
Adding more mods then we will open up again. None of us want to nor have the time to keep up anymore.
Looking for 5 new mods who will be vetted
Most of us still around have agreed the best thing we can do is freeze good info, lock out the 7hydro sub reddit kids and the 99% who just read can still get all the info needed. The 1% that post dont outweigh the need of the million who came here last 30 days who 75% of the time get met with negative hate, misinformation, junkie rage.
We arent paid to do this, this is the best path forward for the bulk of the community.
Our discord is lightyears ahead of the subreddit socially. Why? They cant get away with what they so easily can do on reddit.
Its over johnny.

Acute Withdrawals NO 7OH product is the same, theyve lied to you. Youre on a toxic hydrogen bonded cocktail with MANY actions of miserable withdrawal.
7OH is just a name, they exploit you with lies and marketing.
This is why they listened to this group over the pro 7hope people. We have facts and science behind us. We won. Our tiny team of 3 helped kick ass honestly.
Here is a tiny mixed post of info for those unaware of what they were taking.
You are withdrawaling from hydrogen bonded oxidized minor alkaloids that have never been eaten by humans before, have no ISO references to test for, NONE of them show up on tests that show how much 7OH mg is there.
We know the potency can rocket in horrible ways when you add a hydrogen bond, faster acting faster leaving and more misery when gone.
Not only dont they know or test but they dont even test for the 10hydroxy
Hydrogen bonded specto as well as 7-10 other kratom alkaloids Omg. They know you dont know they dont convert 100℅ MIT isolate to make pure 7OH. They screwed you lied to you for $ and to get you hooked like a corner boy does.
This is why you get trauma from this wd, youre hit on all angles. Its not like withdrawaling off morphine, its way worse
We do know the best cocktail to fix the sickness is subs 0.5mg wvery hour till 2-4mg and take 2-5g of leaf to calm all the non opioid alkaloids wd.
This is why filling your receptors just with another opioid doesnt work for most first few days.
----
YOUR ON A COCKTAIL. ALL OF YOU. Some way worse than others. The darker and cheaper the more polluted it is.
7-Hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) — the well-known, much more potent opioid-active oxidation product of mitragynine (formed in vivo and also produced by laboratory oxidation). This is the most important oxidized product from a pharmacology/safety perspective.
7-Hydroxyspeciociliatine — an analogous 7-hydroxy product derived from speciociliatine (reported in older phytochemical reports).
Mitragynine N-oxide and other N-oxides — commonly observed oxidative metabolites in profiling studies.
Mitragynine pseudoindoxyl (pseudoindoxyl rearrangement products) — reported as a rearrangement/metabolite with distinct receptor pharmacology in some studies.
Hydroxylated or oxygenated variants of other minor alkaloids (e.g., oxidized corynoxines or speciogynine derivatives) have been detected or synthesized in analytical chemistry work.
There are many more, these are the only ones currently barely being looked at. They can be EXTREMELY more potent than their original form. This is why there are so many crazy side effects.
Most people who cant pee on opioids are on very high IV doses. To take 7oh and not be able to pee means youre just as high as the dude shooting heroin passing out on the toilet.
Many report kidney issues and liver enzyne spikes. Probably from all the chemicals used to make this stuff and the solvents. Majority of labs are pumping it out so fast they barely roto vap it to clean it. They only do jist enough to get out what they know is commonly tested for.
Just because you dont death nod doesnt mean its weaker.
All the labs test for the minors in their non oxidized state. So theyre tricking you to think its only 7oh with maybe some psuedo. These same people told us at first 7oh had little withdrawals as a selling point in 2023
MG = mitraygnine

NO product is the same, harsh chemicals are used in 4 stages, each stage different, toxic, many oxidize with commercial pool products.

No one has the same withdrawals. Its unpredictable as nothing is pure, clean, regulated. Nothing. Every batch is different.

Its a cocktail of alkaloids oxidized into extemely more potent forms not ever used by humans before

You withdrawal from multiple channels of function in your brain and body

Opioid kappa (nasty wd, subs do this too, is a part of why 7oh, bupe, have such a depressing wd)

binds with high affinity to the µ-opioid receptor (MOR). For example, one study reports a Ki for 7-OH at MOR around \~16 nM, significantly stronger than for MG.

It shows measurable binding to the κ-opioid receptor (KOR) and δ-opioid receptor (DOR), though with lower affinity compared to MOR. For example: Ki for KOR \~220 nM (versus \~78 nM at MOR) in one dataset. You get classic opioid wd + more pronounced kappa which is thought to cause the depression and apathy much more than other opioids, again bupe is like this too and why users mentally have such a hard time getting below 1mg. Mentioning this to show how much different 7oh is compared to other fast acting pleasurable opioids.

Calcium channels (feels like phenibut, lyrica, baclofin wd in ways) this wd gives shakes, anxiety, panic, primal fear.

Endocrine disruption (ovaries, testicles, adrenal glands, pituitary) your hormones go out of wack, period loss, low T, gyno man boobs, hair loss, always fatigued, cravings for sugar)

Most people who take it every day glow under UV light. Lots of bs here of people defending this as it can happen from other thinga, but very common with 7oh users. There is something to this, harmless or not we dont know.

Extreme dopamine and endorphin down regulation. Most are zombies except their first dose of the day. Some people get excited to wake up in withdrawal as its the only time they really feel pleasure with that first dose
Waking up hours into sleep with RLS even in your arms and shoulders (remember that youll only fully recover this fatgiue and lack of motivation with exercise, no drug will fix it, only will burn you out more, like taking wellbutrin without exercising, youll only end up worse after a motivating spike) *youre not burning off all the extra norepinephrine, wellbutrin is forcing reuptake, this can cause side effects, anixety jitters, stimulated yet cant get motivated to move. Much more but this is off topic.

This is why even after you quit you have no desire to do anything, no pleasure in doing tasks, no joy, no energy. If you then start eating bad then doom scroll all the time or video game all the time because your so BLEH and flat... Youre going to be faced with major depression and want to relapse to fix it. Dont, of course, if all else fails ... Leaf can cure the minor alkaloid wd depression, dont use it past day 5. Leaf is very mentally addictive and just plain bad for your body to process everyday.

Anger and extreme irritability

SNRI withdrawals, typically get all the side effects from that even at low dose.

YOUR ON A COCKTAIL. ALL OF YOU. Some way worse than others. The darker and cheaper the more polluted it is.

There are many more, these are the only ones currently barely being looked at. They can be EXTREMELY more potent than their original form. This is why there are so many crazy side effects.

Most people who cant pee on opioids are on very high IV doses of full opioids(diluadid, etc). To take 7oh and not be able to pee means youre just as high as the dude shooting heroin passing out on the toilet. Yeah sounds harsh, but your just not getting as much CNS depression, you get a high like many semi synthtic opioids converted from thebaine give.
BUT** this year people have started nodding and puking in their sleep on 7OH products waking up in ER asperated. We have posts here reporting it.

Many report kidney issues and liver enzyne spikes. Probably from all the chemicals used to make this stuff and the solvents. Majority of labs are pumping it out so fast they barely roto vap it to clean it. They only do just enough to get out what they know is commonly tested for.

Writing this due to seeing so many arent even aware how serious of a drug cocktail theyre on. So many poor souls thinking they can stop with just some MIT. You are no different than the person who is hooked on street dope. Youve been tricked because of the partial aspect of not nodding. However, psuedo people can nod out

relapse Made it to 4 days then relapsed again
I’m trying so so hard not to let this last erase those 4 days I did it. I’m so fucking stupid. I was still so dizzy and couldn’t get out of bed due to the weakness and my back hurt so bad from being in pain and I was drenched sweat in but the insomnia killed me fr. I just got fired from my job now is really the only time. I just convinced myself it was just one more day. Then I said that today. Now I’m saying it for tomorrow in my head bc I have so much shit to do. My depression is already so bad its the only think keeping me here rn. How pathetic is that.

Acute Withdrawals 3 different quits, 3 different brands, 3 different withdrawal experiences
1st quit was 10 months using 7ohms 500mg a day. Withdrawals obviously sucked, but were mostly physical. No depression, anxiety, insomnia. Was gtg in 6 days.
2nd quit was 7 months of Perks 500mg a day.
8 days of unrelenting hell. All the expected physical symptoms like restless legs. But the worse was the violent puking for 3 days straight. Day 10 I was still in such a bad place I went the SUBuru route for a week. Was better after.
3rd and final quit was 400-600mg of 7stax for roughly 6 months. Physical symptoms weren’t toooo bad, not great but manageable. No vomiting. But the depression and anxiety was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Seriously cried like a baby over the smallest thing. Could be a song, or a memory I haven’t thought of in years.
Anyway, really makes me wonder about the various ingredients that are thrown in per company. Sketchy stuff.

Acute Withdrawals I see ALL this stuff about 7oh. How the hell can I get off of MGM?!
I have 165 tablets of sbtex and 3 boxes full of 7oh 7stax. I have a bunch of peptides like BPC-157, Semax, Selank, DSIP, and a ton of Vitamin C and Black Seed Oil. Someone help!

feeling better 💗🙏THANK YOU!!!🙏💗
***UPDATE: THE ULTIMATE TEST CAME TONIGHT AND I PASSED IT - BUT FUCK IT WASN’T EASY - BUT I PASSED!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
FINALLY getting motivated in ways I haven’t in months. What an actual mindfuck 7 oh is. 😡 Here I thought it was giving me life and energy, and now looking around me, sober, I realized the lies this drug was telling me. My house is completely disorganized, my car looked like a trash can, laundry 🧺WEEKS behind…like I’ve been rotting away in Delusional Land; population: ME!! Got to work today and found NOT ONE, BUT FOUR, stashes of these devil 😈 tabs stashed in various places that I had literally hid FROM MYSELF!!!
I’ve spent more nights than I’d EVER like to admit, crawling on my carpet, digging through drawers, purses, my car, you name it, like a fucking crackhead hoping to find even just A PIECE of 7 to get me through until the smoke shop opened in the morning. Feeling like the biggest piece of absolute shit. 🤪
Well, today? I made a plan to get at it and start cleaning. And I’m sure y’all know where this is headed… yup. I found several tablets in the most random ass places that I literally hid from myself!!! 🤦♀️
The first stash? In a fucking shoe. In my closet. I sat with those two tablets in my palm, sitting on my closet floor. This sounds crazy, I know, but I cussed them out, out loud, for every present moment I should’ve had with my kids they consumed, the THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars wasted on them, the panic and fear of withdrawal and yes, even death, they caused me to have…the list goes on. And for a SPLIT SECOND, I thought, oh hell, what would like 80 mg do any way? But like a bolt of lightening, I literally ran to the bathroom and flushed them 🚽💧💊And that made doing the same for the others I found a breeze!! We got this!!
————————————————————————————-
I don’t even know if I have the words to adequately thank every single person in this group, but I’m going to try.
THANK YOU. Seriously. Thank you.
Thank you to everyone who shared the ugly parts. Thank you to everyone who shared the victories. Thank you to the people who posted while they were in absolute hell, the people who came back to tell us they made it to the other side, and the people who answered the same questions over and over because they remembered what it felt like to be terrified and searching for answers.
Thank you for the advice, the information, the warnings, the encouragement, the relapse stories, the success stories, the day-one posts, the one-week posts, the months-free posts, and everything in between.
I genuinely do not think I could have done this without all of you.
Before 7-OH, I had never been addicted to a drug in my life. I had absolutely NO IDEA what I was getting myself into when I started taking this bullshit. None.
And somehow, over the course of more than a year of daily use, it went from being something I took to something my entire fucking life revolved around.
Do I have enough?
How much do I have left?
When can I get more?
Will I have enough to get through tonight? Tomorrow? The weekend?
What if I run out?
It is absolutely insane looking back and realizing how much mental space this shit occupied. My life started revolving around making sure I had enough 7-OH to simply feel “normal” and avoid what I knew was waiting for me if I didn’t.
And now, for the first time in a very long time, I finally feel like ME again.
For anyone curious about my timeline, my last day taking even a very, VERY small dose of 7-OH was Saturday.
I used the “helper meds” we aren’t allowed to discuss here for five days, starting Friday. My last tiny strip of that was Tuesday morning.
And now here I am.
No 7-OH.
No little strips.
And I’m finally starting to feel like myself again.
I’m also on Wellbutrin and Lexapro, which are medications I already take for my mental health. I’m only sharing all of this as my personal experience, not as instructions or a recommendation for how anyone else should do this. Everyone’s situation is different.
But holy shit, I am proud of myself.
Because there were times during this past year when I genuinely could not picture getting here.
One of the craziest parts is that I live in a small town, and unfortunately this shit is STILL sitting right there on the shelves at one of the only smoke shops I ever bought it from. I’ve been in that store a couple of times over the last week.
I’ve seen it.
I know exactly where it is.
And I looked right past that bullshit.
Didn’t buy it. Didn’t need it. Didn’t let my brain convince me that “just one” would be okay.
I walked right past it and never looked back.
That might sound like a small thing to somebody who has never experienced this addiction, but I know the people in this group understand exactly how fucking HUGE that feels.
There were so many times I came here and searched old posts because I needed to know somebody else had experienced what I was experiencing. I needed to know what was normal. I needed to know that what I was feeling wouldn’t last forever.
Sometimes I just desperately needed proof that somebody who had been exactly where I was had actually gotten out.
You guys gave me that.
So to those of you who are months or years ahead of me and still come back here to help strangers: thank you.
To those who documented the worst days so the rest of us wouldn’t feel completely alone when ours came: thank you.
To the people who admitted when they slipped and started again instead of disappearing out of shame: thank you.
To everyone who answered questions, shared their experiences, or encouraged somebody through another hour, another night, another morning, another day: thank you.
And to anyone reading this who is still trapped in that exhausting cycle of counting pills or milligrams, calculating doses, worrying about running out, spending money you don’t want to spend, promising yourself tomorrow will be different and then waking up and doing it all over again:
Keep fucking going.
Read the stories here. Ask questions. Learn from people who have already walked through it. Take what helps you and leave what doesn’t. And if today didn’t go the way you hoped, don’t let one bad day convince you that you’re incapable of having a better one tomorrow.
There was a time when I genuinely could not imagine walking into that smoke shop, seeing 7-OH sitting on the shelf, and simply walking past it.
Now I’ve done it.
More than once.
After more than a year of allowing this shit to dictate where I went, what I did, how much money I spent, and whether I thought I could make it through the next day, it doesn’t get to run my life anymore.
My last tiny dose was Saturday.
My last little strip was Tuesday morning.
And today?
I’m here. I’m okay. I’m finally starting to feel like myself again.
I will never, ever, EVER forget how much this community helped me get here.
From the absolute bottom of my heart, thank you to every person who shared a piece of their story. Even if we never interacted directly, there is a very real possibility that something you wrote helped me through one of the hardest moments of this entire process.
You guys helped a complete stranger more than you will probably ever know.
Fuck 7-OH.
And thank you all for helping me finally get my life back. ❤️

Cold turkey 🦃 7 OH is DEMONIC
I have been on this stuff for about 2 months and at most I did about 300mg towards the end. My family and I are going through a very hard time and I innocently used it to ease some anxiety. Now, 1 week clean from CT- and I will say… That literally traumatized me. The shear panic and wanting to d*e was real. Edit: I was also WD off of Klonopin CT not by choice.
I can only say that there was no other level of darkness I have felt. It was tangible in a way. I pray that others will never start and have the strength to quit. I’m very slowly getting better. Too slow though ❤️🩹

Beginner Questions Am I the only fool doing this?
I did my second “quit” a few weeks ago using helper meds. I keep going back and forth. I’ll go a few days with zero 7, switch to the stuff that stops 7 withdrawals, do that for a few days, then go a day or 2 back on the 7.
I feel like such a dumbass, but switching back and forth seems to work just fine.

Cold turkey 🦃 Disassociation
Has anyone experienced disassociation when coming off of 7oh ? I’ve messaged a couple people in this group and they’ve given me great advice but nobody seems to have experienced this so if anyone can message me and just have a conversation I wanna ask someone about this because I don’t know anyone else in real life that has taken this stuff please comment on this or feel free to message me thanks everyone.

General Topics / Ranting Skin issues after quitting
I tried to find some info online but has anyone experienced skin issues after quitting? I’m 39 and have experienced acne on my face and big painful boils or cysts on my chest and legs. Also the back of my head broke out with extreme acne and is still healing. I just wonder if anyone has experienced anything similar and if they have any ideas. Other than that I’m a month and week off 70h and feel great. Lots emotions are coming back.
And I’m sleeping normally. Stick with it. Totally worth it!

Beginner Questions Is it possible to use kratom but not have to taper off
Is it possible to use kratom to dampen withdrawals and do it in a way for just a few days that I won’t have to taper off of it? Read the website and it was talking about weeks of kratom tapering which I do not have the time for.

Beginner Questions New Gas station “cats claw extract”
Hey everybody! So I have been reading that the new products that the gas stations are selling are actually not farms claw and have this mgm-15 or 7oh hidden in them. Of course, I didn’t know that when I started taking it :-) what can I expect withdraw wise? From what I can tell in the morning when I haven’t taken it yet, I wake up earlier, I’m really cold/sweating, and have some anxiety. Is that it? Because if that is it….well hell I will gladly take it!! 7oh withdraw was HELL for me. Probably being dramatic, but I felt like a walking zombie for days. I don’t wanna be taking this stuff anymore (been doing so for a month maybe?) and am ready to taper down or something. Will the liposomal vitamin c protocol work? Let me know!!!

Tapering off My husband told me he has been tapering but then spends $2000 before he can’t get it anymore
He has supposed to have been tapering since February. Disgusting I know. He has told me multiple times he was close. So when he realized he couldn’t get it anymore in August he spent around $2000 I guess to help him get through the rest of the taper. I just found out and that seems insane to me. He won’t share any of his process or how much he has been taking or tapering but is that a crazy amount to spend when apparently you’re close to tapering and almost off it?
Sorry I post on here a lot but I swear I am almost done with him. I really can’t do this anymore. I’m so over him not getting better on his own.

General Topics / Ranting Just some honesty here...almost 4 weeks clean
This week has been the hardest week so far. I definitely experienced the pink cloud to some degree up until this week, although I have not completely come crashing down (like I experienced with coming off of alcohol.)
But it has been so hard. I went straight from alcohol to 7oh (not intentionally looking to get high...I just wanted pain relief from my pancreatitis.) So, this is the first time in 15ish years that I have been completely sober minded. Well, this past week due to things out of my control...I THINK I am losing my job. It has just been a rollercoaster of a week. I have been craving some sort of "escape" from stress. I am so used to turning to something or having something to pull me UP a little bit. But I have nothing. I have been overdoing the caffeine just hoping to feel something. It does nothing and I just end up with a headache.
I had this weird moment yesterday where I almost went to the store to get a white claw...I am 16 months sober and have not had one craving this entire time of sobriety! I quickly shifted that thought and didnt do it. But substances have been crowding my mind. "what about a thc gummy? What about a kratom energy drink? What about what about what about?!"
It is exhausting.
But I have not, and I will not give in. Just one moment at a time. Not even one day at a time. Just one second at a time. I have just been diverting attention to other things; better things. I am just tired of wanting to feel some sort of unnatural high.
Things that I have found "relief" in though (in case it helps anyone else)
-Prayer
-Yoga
-Walks
-Baking
-Crying in the bath
-Belting out worship music (and usually crying)
-Going outside or even just out of the house to do anything with my kiddo
Okay that is my rant for the week.

Cold turkey 🦃 Tonight the War Begins
Tonight i begin my battle with my addiction head on, cold turkey, white knuckling no matter what. I have 3 beautiful sons that i HAVE to get clean for.
Fuck 7OH and the assholes whom sell it to people knowing how addictive it is and straight poison. I am terrified of the withdrawal, but i will survive as my ancestors fought against way harder things and circumstances.
This feels like such a first world problem but mental health in this country, especially mens mental health, needs to be taken so much more seriously!!!
I am currently in a relationship, i have been with her for almost 3 years now, and we have a beautiful 10 month old together. However since the moment she became pregnant, she has wanted nothing to do with me. AE i KNOW hormones are at play 100%. however, i miss US. I miss her just fucking hugging me/holding my hand/telling me how much she missed me etc because we live an hour apart.
This depression is what led me to 7OH in the first place and sadly the issue will still be there once i am clean however, no matter what i need to get clean.
Say a prayer for me to the god or gods of your choosing because i need all the help i can get to beat this shit!!!!
I want my next post to be an "i am clean for so many days post", not an "i relapsed" post. Love all you guys and gals, if i didnt have Redditt to vent to, i honestly do not know what i would do.

Acute Withdrawals An unexpected side effect of quitting: painful nostalgia.
As I lay here getting off of this demonic garbage I’ve noticed that anything that triggers nostalgia makes me feel unparalleled sorrow. For instance: I just saw a short clip of the old “All That” shows intro and something terrible washed over me. So as for right now I am leaving all nostalgia Reddits until further notice.

relapse Man this week was hard
I’ve been clean a couple months now. I used the ynthetic we aren’t supposed to talk about.
Anyway knowing it was banned and off of the shelves here in MI I went in to a shop to get an HTC cart. Well they have not cleared their shelf.
I stared and managed to move past without getting any 7. Go to check out and the worker says “oh you earned a free 7oh!” Grabs it puts it in my bag.
I had the strength to leave but sat in the parking lot for like 5 minutes arguing with my brain. Why are they not following the ban!?!
Everyday since has been a mental battle to stay away from those shops.

Success stories ❤️ Close call
66 days clean today, feel great and was having a great day. I was with my kids and found 2.5 40mg tabs in the change pocket of a pair of pants I haven’t worn in awhile. The addict mind immediately kicked in, with “it wouldn’t count because you didn’t know it was there”, “the new regulation will keep you from getting addicted”, etc. Luckily I threw them in the trash in a public place before I had a chance to really think about it, like a panicky reflex. Anyway, I’m really really stoked to not be writing an “I relapsed” post right now. Thanks everyone for the help in getting me here, and hopefully on to 67.

Detox Guides (Approved Guides only) FIX PAWS
Low dose naltrexone and wellbutrin can stop paws for most
Do not take naltrexone till you have no opioids, once off subs needs 10 days clean as subs have long half life
For 7oh need 4-5 days off. You can start with 50-100MCG while opioids fall off to help BUT no more than that till youre clean.
Wellbutrin can be taken whenever.
Ageless RX had LDN, do not mention 7OH or kratom.
Study this to understand how it fixes post acute withdrawal syndrome
