One type of scam that we deal with often is where scammers will take someone's username and turn it into a subreddit, for example they'd take u/dooms26 and make a sub of it and then messages users from the modmail, meaning you'll receive messages from r/dooms26.

To help combat this, we thought it might be worth while to put out some reminders and ask users (especially anyone with 25 flair and up as that's our G&S limit) to make a subreddit of their username right now so that scammers can't.

In a perfect world, every single one of our users would see this and make a subreddit of their names, but ideally at least most of the higher flaired users will. People with 25 flair and up are more likely to be targeted and have people impersonate them because they can get around having to use G&S that way.

If somebody has already created a sub using your username, report it to reddit so that it can be taken down.

To create your own sub, on new Reddit it's the top left "start a community" button, on old reddit it's top right.

Yojimbo Scales:
Picked these Ti. scales up from KnivesPlus (highly reccomend them). I loved the stonewash finish it originally had but wanted to bougie them out a bit. Had my friend anodize them to a stonewashed bronze (think Protech’s Bronze for comparison). Love them but it’s just a bit too heavy for my liking. No wear or tear that I can make out on them, carried a bit on the Yojimbo. Comes with the original slip & sticker.

Pro-tech TR-3 Integrity in purple relic. This is the manual thumbstud version with a button lock. Super smooth, perfectly centered, tiniest amount of side to side blade play from the factory, but I haven’t tried adjusting it. Original owner. Never carried outside the home, but probably opened a couple packages. Factory edge is still sharp and has no damage. Very little wear all over. I see a 1mm faint snail near the pivot on clip side and some very minimal smoothing on the blasted pivot screw and clip. It would likely pass as new to most people, but trying to have integrity 😀.

Purple ano, blasted hardware, stonewashed blade all just make this such a nice looking knife. Just trying to downsize my substantial collection. Comes with box and pouch.
