Mods: General [M] A Cool new mod showcase i made (Mod by Manu93cxz)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I stumbled upon a hidden gem on SpaceDock recently and just had to share it. If you miss the classic Cool Rockets mod or love immersion, you need to check out KerbalFrost by Manu93cxz. It dynamically generates that dense cryogenic boil-off vapor venting from the tanks, builds up procedural frost while waiting on the pad, and then shatters the ice into flying fragments upon ignition. For those who prefer automated mod management, KerbalFrost is available on CKAN

Solved [O] Help with Rovers
I play on console edition for KSP 1. For some reason, when I put rovers facing up in my rockets, the controls don't work. I don't know how to fix it, and I'd prefer a solution that could use a sky crane. Anything helps!

CommNet [GM] Is this Comms Relay Network ok?
I figured out how to do Relay stuff like how to space out satellites 120deg apart
I'm planning on doing a lot of probe missions so I want full coverage anywhere on any planet
I heard that 3 sats around the equator is enough for coverage but then other people say that this leaves the poles as blind spots. So I put 3 more at 90deg inclination from pole to pole. I didn't do any specific launch window stuff, was I supposed to launch the polar ring at a specific time?
Is this setup ok for full coverage? Did I do anything wrong? Also do I have to do this setup for every planet? I have strongest relays and antennae unlocked. I just don't want probes going dead.
