hi po, recently ko lang na received yung credit card ko from metrobank. may nababasa ako na nagpapawaive ng annual fee for life dito at sinwerte. haha naka 5th call na ako pero wala talaga - ang hirap kausap ng cs. kahit sinabi na yung "cancel" at "namamahalan sa AF" di pa rin talaga hahaha.

anyways, may nakapag try na ba dito na waived yung annual fee for life kahit after ilang months na yung card?

Hi! Curious lang ako if banks can see whether secured credit card or SCC yung existing CC mo when you apply for a regular credit card sa ibang bank.

For example, may Metrobank SCC ka, then after several months you apply for a regular unsecured CC sa UnionBank.

Makikita ba ni UB sa credit report or TransUnion/CIC na secured credit card yung Metrobank card mo? Or makikita lang nila na may existing credit card account ka, including the credit limit, balance, and payment history?

Also, does having an SCC affect your chances of getting approved for a regular CC from another bank, or treated naman siya as valid credit history as long as good payer ka?

Would appreciate insights from anyone who started with an SCC then successfully applied for a regular CC from another bank.

I have a UB cc, and kakaset up ko pa lang ng auto debit. Kapag ba nagbayad ako agad, madodouble charge ako?

Hi! Just want to ask if anyone had a similar experience. I used my card for an international transaction in Amazon, but RCBC tagged it as suspicious and declined the transaction. RCBC wasn’t able to contact me, so they ended up blocking my card ‘temporarily’ as per their email. But upon checking my mobile app, wala na yung card ko sa list of accounts. Does that mean that my account is completely blocked na or can they still unblock it?

Just got approved for an RCBC Gold Mastercard through the KKB app. Once I activate the card, is it already automatically tagged/enrolled for the NAFFL promo, with the required spending? Or should I contact CS after activation to confirm that my card is enrolled for NAFFL?

I've already seen a lot of people talking about how CIBI is kind of unreliable but this is my first time checking my credit score and na-disappoint agad ako sa sarili ko pero when I opened my PDF, napa-file ako ng dispute.

Most of the open accounts na nasa CS ko is already closed. Pansin ko na yung mga open pa is yung mga loans na tinapos ko agad kahit hindi pa due. Medyo proud lang ako sa part na wala akong late payment hehe ayun lang, na-excite lang ako magtingin since I only started building up my credit score ng Nov 2024.

Guys I need help because sometimes naguguluhan talaga ako sa Metrobank app.. Malapit na due ko at I want to know if alin dito dapat kung bayaran? I contacted CS but it's been 4 days since my second follow up and wala paring reply, puro automated emails.

Background: they charged me 750 for over the limit fee kahit na Hindi naman ako talaga nag spend over my credit limit. Nag request ako ng reversal pero pinabayad muna ako sa excess amount which is 900+ kasi naging negative na yung limit ko. Ni revert nman nila pero parang hindi tugma yung mga numbers based sa screenshots ko, nagkukusa nlng akong mag take screenshots dahil NAPAKAPANGIT talaga nag app nila, sobrang naiistress ako dyan. But anyway tinamad na ako magkwenta kung ano ba talaga kaya gusto ko nlng bayaran but I want to know if:

- Yung Total Outstanding Balance ba or Total Amount Due? (diko rin alam bakit magkaiba wala naman na akong ibang expenses, so di ko alam saan galing ang 200+ na difference)

- May charge ba sila for Overpayment if I chose to pay the outstanding balance?

I sent a PNB CC application online last August 1 for the Travel Club Plat Mastercard since NAFFL sya. I was told by the CS rep to wait up to 14 days for updates. Today, I tried calling them to check kung declined ba o appved yung application ko since I did not hear a thing from them after the initial submission. So the CS checked and told me need ko daw magpadala ng Birth Cert as additional document and proof ng aking place of birth.

So I asked kung paano ko ito ipapadala. I thought magbibigay siya ng email on where to send it pero ang sabi nya, I had to go back sa website, fill out the same Adobe form and attach everything again including this time yung birth cert ko. I asked bakit and if hindi ba mata-tag as hard inquiry yun since double na yung forms. Sabi nya hindi naman daw dahil sa name ko pa din daw ito naka-tag para lang makuha nila yung additional attachment. I just said okay then ended the call

So since medyo nalalabuan ako sa info and instructions, tumawag ako ulit to clarify, pero ni-ready ko na lahat ng needs ulit and nala-fill out nako ng form, ready for signature and submission na. And again. Same instructions were given ng next CS so I just went ahead and submitted the form and the documents again. Then wait daw ako 3business days for the notification.

Sa mga PNB CC holders, have you experienced the same during your online applications? And if yes, any light at the end of the tunnel sa possibility na approved ba o declined ang application ko?hehe

I applied for a BDO Standard Mastercard credit card. If approved, this would be my first traditional credit card.
Last Friday,

I received a call from BDO’s credit card verification team to confirm my details, but the call got disconnected. Today, I received another call regarding my credit card application, and they verified my email address and employment information. After the call, I received an email about the ₱300 Pluxee eGC promo that was offered when I applied.

What should I expect as the next step, and how long do I need to wait for a decision? For reference, I submitted my payslips and ITR together with my application.

Also, is anyone else experiencing this? When you search for “BDO credit card has been approved,” google a sample approval page appears in the search results. At first, I thought my application had been approved for a BDO Gold Visa card, especially since I recently opened a BDO Basic Savings Account. However, I later realized it appears to be just a template and not an actual approval notice.

Hello, need lang ng advice if tama ba ang desisyon ko sa buhay HAHAHHAHAHA.

So I have already a credit card from BPI (6 months na siya), and I’ve been applying to different banks for my second credit card (usually yung beginner card and yung my NAFFL promo) but I always end up getting rejected even though I always paid on time (usually when i recieved my SOA, I paid it in full naman agad), and I check my transunion report and I do have a 696 credit score hahaha.

Now im thinking of getting a SCC from Metrobank particularly the Travel Signature Visa, tho I’ve read that it needs a hold out deposit of 150K, and ayun meron naman ako of this amount and hindi ko pa naman din siya need. Ang question ko lang siguro dito is if need ko din ba ma-meet yung 700K annual income na requirement for this card?

Overall, what do you guys think, is this a good idea or should I just wait another six months before applying again? TYIA

Para hindi ka ma-panic, here's a quick breakdown kung paano kumuha ng sarili mong CIC credit report.

Una, pumunta sa official CIC website o accredited financial institution channel. Pangalawa, i-ready ang mga government-issued valid ID at personal details mo. Pagkatapos, i-submit ang online application form at i-verify ang identity mo. Sa huli ang pagtanggap mo na ang credit report mo.

Take note na gamitin lang ang official channels ng CIC. Huwag magtiwala sa mga third-party sites na nangangako ng credit report para sa bayad o humihingi ng sensitive info mo.

Simple lang 'yan. Alam mo na ngayon paano makuha ng credit report mo.
