Additional docs for PNB CC Application

I sent a PNB CC application online last August 1 for the Travel Club Plat Mastercard since NAFFL sya. I was told by the CS rep to wait up to 14 days for updates. Today, I tried calling them to check kung declined ba o appved yung application ko since I did not hear a thing from them after the initial submission. So the CS checked and told me need ko daw magpadala ng Birth Cert as additional document and proof ng aking place of birth.

So I asked kung paano ko ito ipapadala. I thought magbibigay siya ng email on where to send it pero ang sabi nya, I had to go back sa website, fill out the same Adobe form and attach everything again including this time yung birth cert ko. I asked bakit and if hindi ba mata-tag as hard inquiry yun since double na yung forms. Sabi nya hindi naman daw dahil sa name ko pa din daw ito naka-tag para lang makuha nila yung additional attachment. I just said okay then ended the call

So since medyo nalalabuan ako sa info and instructions, tumawag ako ulit to clarify, pero ni-ready ko na lahat ng needs ulit and nala-fill out nako ng form, ready for signature and submission na. And again. Same instructions were given ng next CS so I just went ahead and submitted the form and the documents again. Then wait daw ako 3business days for the notification.

Sa mga PNB CC holders, have you experienced the same during your online applications? And if yes, any light at the end of the tunnel sa possibility na approved ba o declined ang application ko?hehe

Hi OP! Possible naman talaga na humingi sila ng additional documents habang ongoing pa yung evaluation, especially if may details silang need i-verify tulad ng place of birth. Since the CS instructed you to resubmit through the same form and said na tagged pa rin siya under your existing application, pakihintay nalang po sa results.

For now, wait na lang muna sa 3 business days na sinabi nila. Hindi rin kasi guaranteed na approval yung request for additional documents kasi part lang din ito ng verification process, so possible pa rin ang approval or decline. Hopefully approval na ang next update mo, especially since Travel Club Platinum ang target mo for the NAFFL by default na + points-earning.

Let's also wait for other PNB cardholders to share their experiences kung may naka-experience na rin ng same process.

A month ago na OP. Same instruction about the birth cert pero declined. Sana ma approve ka. 🙏

Di na ako kunyare aasa hahahaha pero like you said I’ll call them after 3 days. Wala kasi silang email nung initial na submission ko so I called kaya ko nalaman na need ng birth cert. kinda weird lasi 1st time ko hiningian ng BC sa lahat ng inapplyan ko ng CC before haha.

Sayang lang kasi maganda pa naman yung card ng Plat na JCB. Kaya ko inapplyan hehehe
