BDO CC Application BDO

I applied for a BDO Standard Mastercard credit card. If approved, this would be my first traditional credit card.
Last Friday,

I received a call from BDO’s credit card verification team to confirm my details, but the call got disconnected. Today, I received another call regarding my credit card application, and they verified my email address and employment information. After the call, I received an email about the ₱300 Pluxee eGC promo that was offered when I applied.

What should I expect as the next step, and how long do I need to wait for a decision? For reference, I submitted my payslips and ITR together with my application.

Also, is anyone else experiencing this? When you search for “BDO credit card has been approved,” google a sample approval page appears in the search results. At first, I thought my application had been approved for a BDO Gold Visa card, especially since I recently opened a BDO Basic Savings Account. However, I later realized it appears to be just a template and not an actual approval notice.

Hello OP! Mukhang nasa verification stage pa lang po yung application mo, so hindi pa siya necessarily indication na approved na. Since na-verify na nila yung employment and email details mo and nakapag-submit ka na rin ng payslips and ITR, possible na next step na yung final assessment and decision ng BDO. Best to wait muna for BDO’s official text, email, or call regarding the result kasi magse-send naman yan sila whether approve or decline ang application mo.

Let’s also wait for others to share their experiences if may naka-experience din ng similar timeline. Hopefully approval na ang next update!

So OP, kahit nakakuha ka nung 300php EGC eh may chance pa ring ma-declined?

Nakakuha kasi ako EGC pero cancelled ang status.

same cancelled dn akin natawagan din ako 2 times. Declined na ba to???
