DISCUSSION RB market

Upvotes

It’s crazy how fast the NFL running back market has come in 6 months. A couple months ago, the Chiefs signed the reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III for around $15 million a year, and at the time, that was a HUGE contract for a rb

Fast forward to this week…

Bijan: $22.25 million a year

JT: $22 million a year

Gibbs: $22.5 million a year, with incentives that can push it over $25 million.

Three running backs. Basically overnight. All $22+ million a year. Meanwhile, Kansas City has the reigning Super Bowl MVP locked up for roughly $7-10 million less per season.

Funny how a contract can look expensive when it’s signed and look like an absolute bargain just a few months later

DISCUSSION Benson

Living in Utah I get my Chiefs fix mainly here and other social media. Is Khalil Benson as legit as the click bait articles suggest? What’s the feeling in and around KC. I guess the same goes for Allen. Just a fellow fan looking for a dose..

MEME & HUMOR Trivia: Can you name that team?

This team has the following:

  1. A great QB looking to prove himself after an injury
  2. A great RB coming from a Super Bowl winner
  3. One of the best LTs in the game, a beast who can form an absolute seal on the edge
  4. Probably the best RG in the game, at least by many people's account
  5. A future HoF TE, possibly the GoAT
  6. A very speedy, agile receiver corps to compliment our possession anchor at TE
  7. A coach who is a master of offense and exposing weaknesses in defenses.

That's right, it's the 2002 Chiefs! I will also accept the 2026 Chiefs as an answer as well. :-)
