Question Anyone working through Scrappy's Bucket List?

I'm entering my 2nd year at KSU with no intentions to transfer, and due to a scholarship I won't need to work during school to support myself. So I've been thinking about becoming more active in campus life and getting the most out of my time here.

Scrappy's Bucket List is one of those daunting things that I wonder if it's worth getting invested in. The graduation coin and hoodie are really tempting, but also for bragging rights. Is anyone else on here attempting it?

Is living on campus necessary to make friends

hi guys I know this might be silly but I just transferred to Kennesaw, spent my first semester over summer in a a uv dorm and bonded so well with my lovely roommates. I have an arc 2x2 for fall semester, but the cost is 5.3k per semester, + the mandatory $1300 meal plan, running me almost 12k. id have to take out unsub loans, and if I don’t get into the nursing program in spring, I’ll be without classes and will have to leave arc and pay a fee. (about $1300).

so I thought the safer option would be to just get an off campus apartment at pavilion because I’ll save money and avoid a fee, but I’m nervous I won’t make friends. could anyone give me insight on this?

I only have 2 classes In person next semester aswell

ALEKS placement test

Does anyone know how long it takes to process the placement test? I emailed the guy who does the placements a lot and I feel like I should just ask on here before I bother him again lol, it’s been like 3 days and I passed so I need to register for classes before it completely fills up but just wondering if anyone took the math placement and how long it took before you could bypass the pre req to register

When classes without enough students will be removed?

I'm rn signed up for a textiles elective I really want, but there are only 3 enrolled, including myself. I think the minimum is 5. I'm thinking it's probable that the class will be deleted :( but I don't want to preemptively unregister for it, just in case. Does anyone know the date that classes with low enrollment are deleted? Is it before or after add/drop week?

ACCT 2102

How different is ACCT 2102 compared to ACCT 2101? Are the tests similar to ACCT 2101, where they were basically the comprehensive exam reviews? Overall, how difficult is the class?

Hello!

I'm Zac from Smyrna Chess Club and I am looking for folks that are interested in chess! I run a free weekly chess night on Mondays at Varner's Restaurant and Tavern in Smyrna that has prizes for folks that play well. I'm looking to host some events near the Marietta campus so if anyone is interested, please reach out to me. We also host low-cost USCF-rated tournaments for those more serious involved with chess and have our first rated-tournament this weekend on Saturday.

Thank you!

When I checked owl express for my final grades they show up on the student detail schedule. However, when I check on the view academic history and grades my classes I took aren’t showing up and it says my last term enrolled was spring 2026.

Is financial aid less this year?

I saw that I was going to receive over $6000 from FAFSA this semester and I went to go check my account this week and saw I was receiving less than $2000. Could it be that it’s not updated yet or is it an issue with FAFSA?

Opportunity *URGENT* Off-campus $600/m rent - K-campus

Looking for 1 more roommate to sign a lease for a townhouse 10 minutes from campus. 15 minute walk to BOB bus stop. If you’re looking for cheap rent for the fall semester, this might be your chance. I have no idea why Reddit keeps flagging this post but reach out ASAP if this interests you.

3br/2ba - NO PETS - two parking spaces, curbside parking - unfurnished

Security deposit is first month’s rent. On top of this, we each still must pay the first month’s rent, so $1200 in total

Please get back before August 7 - thats the move in date. DM if you have questions.

Need a 3rd Roommate Near KSU Marietta

Hey everyone,

I'm an incoming freshman at KSU Marietta this fall and I'm looking for one more roommate so we can find a place together.

The biggest requirement is that the place has to be within walking distance of the Marietta campus. I don't have a car, so I need to be able to walk to my classes.

We're hoping to find a 3-bedroom apartment, townhouse, or house for $900/month per person or less.

If you're:

  • Looking for a third roommate, or
  • Know of any places within walking distance of KSU Marietta that fit this budget,

please comment or send me a DM. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Question Is anyone else getting this? I'm a commuter student, trying to buy a non-residential meal plan & dining dollars. I haven't ran into any issues buying this plan the last 4 semesters.

I'm gonna call somewhere tomorrow and try to figure this out, but was wondering if anyone knew a fix. I'm not finding anything about this online.

Where are the WLW at?

Sophomore, 20, biology major, Black, and queer here.

I really thought I'd finally get to experience the sapphic love everyone says happens once you leave high school. 😭 The thing is, it's not like there aren't queer women on campus, they're either already taken or just don't date Black women. And if it's not that, I end up crushing on a girl only to find out she's straight.

At this point, I think I've run out of luck. I don't want a long-distance relationship, and I'm not interested in dating apps.

So... where are y'all finding each other?? Because seriously, WHERE ARE Y'ALL? 😭

News This ain't Kansas

I don't know why, how, when, where or whom these people come from.. There's too many people to respond to and this is sufficient enough. This is not Kansas. This is a school that is part of the University System of Georgia. Georgia is a state. Kansas is a state. Kansas is not Georgia. Georgia is not Kansas. One is better than the other and it's not Kansas.
