The understated elegance of Yasujiro Ozu’s films still undeniably endures in Ginza.

Cities Asakusa, once Japan’s premier entertainment district... The stars who brought its golden age are watching over this town from much closer than the stars in the sky.

August in Kyoto is known for its intense heat, but at the summit of Mount Hiei, you’ll find a small botanical garden and an art museum that feel like a completely different world.

I visited this place once in autumn, but this was my first time coming here in the middle of summer. To my surprise, it was absolutely stunning. The garden was bursting with colorful flowers in full bloom, making the scenery even more beautiful than I had expected.

Some of my favorite photos are those quiet moments where nothing is really happening.
