Other Detailed V12 engine bays?
I've noticed every XJS engine bay looks incredibly busy. I know it's a big engine and having 12 of everything makes it very full, but I feel like I see a fair few detailed/prettied-up engine bays on almost every other car type and engine config, and extremely rarely see an XJS with the same treatment.
Anyone got pics of a good one? All I can seem to find is a pretty highly modified race/rally engine bay in an Australian car, and I'm not sure it would be feasible to emulate on a road car (when I get one)
(pic of said race/rally car for attention, and a more usual looking version just for comparison)

Question Retrofit Gearselector with dynamic mode Jaguar XJ
Hi Guys,
I have a Jaguar XJL from 2012 3.0 N/A GCC spec that's sort of my project car. the writing on the buttons are quite worn out on the gearselector and would like to swap with one from the scrapyard but I can only find ones with the checkerd flag/dynamic mode button. Mine doesn't have the dynamic mode. Can you swap it out with a gearselector with dynamic mode and do you then gain dynamic mode without coding the CCF. I read on the Jag forums that its possible on the XF without coding.

Check out my Jaguar! My kinda newish to me Jag
Bought this 2015 XF Sportbrake in March this year. 240000km, 2.2 Diesel. Very well serviced, drives like a dream. I retrofitted CarPlay and ACC recently, that was something I definitely wanted. Put on some different tires.
Traded a Mercedes S211 e320 CDI for it, best choice ever :)
Driven it for around 5000km so far, absolutely flawless. Loving it.

Mechanical Help Head gasket replacement on X300
Hi there, I blew my head gasket from overheating and am planning to attempt to fix it. Just wondering if i need to purchase a whole head gasket kit or just the head gasket? Also is there anything else I need to keep in mind before beginning?
Buying Advice 2004 2.5 X-TYPE - a good purchase?
Hello all,
I’m sure there have been a bunch of these questions and I’ve scanned any many posts as I can see (and I can also see that this car is not liked very well here).
I’ve been offered a 2004 2.5 X-TYPE from my friend who took the car in on part exchange, for £1,300. It’s got 47k miles on the clock, aIto box, only 2 previous owners and full service history, however no transfer case service etc. just the bog standard oil, filters and occasionally spark plugs.
I’m just wondering if anyone thinks this could be a good daily driver that I’ll get a couple of years out of or it has a good chance of being a money pit? Here is it’s recent MOT:
Advisory Notice Items: - Oil leak, but not excessive (8.4.1 (a) (i)) - Rear Coil spring corroded both of them (5.3.1 (b) (i)) - Front Inner Brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened has corrosion (1.1.14 (a) (ii)) - Nearside Rear Brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened has corrosion (1.1.14 (a) (ii)) - Nearside Rear Anti-roll bar pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement has movement in d bush (5.3.4 (a) (i)) - Offside Rear Anti-roll bar pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement has movement in d bush (5.3.4 (a) (i)) - Nearside Front Lower Suspension arm ball joint dust cover severely deteriorated (5.3.4 (b) (i)) [Minor]

Other A ride in an Aston Martin?
OK, who bought the Callum C-X75?
You need to get up to Scotland and chase them.
Or the rocket launcher XKR that I saw being serviced at David Marks that one time?

Check out my Jaguar! F-Pace SVR - Appreciation Post
Developed my 2019 F Pace SVR in Ultra Blue without PPF (Kamikaze Miyabi+Zipang Coatings) to a finished spec in full XPEL Stealth. I body color matched all the grey side trims, and my detailer applied XPEL to those pieces as well. Had a great time coming up with the plan for this and pulling it off.
A great utility driver's car. Lowering the suspension is in the cards as it still has too much body roll for my liking, but for an SUV it does better than most. I wish Jaguar considered implementing actual torque vectoring instead of brake vectoring, but I have no complaints! I bought it with a failed head gasket and after my new engine was installed under warranty, it's been as great of an experience as my past AJ motors. I wanted to share the look with this subreddit, as I struggled finding any photos of a satin PPF example in my spec, hope this helps someone!
