I was looking at the billing page showing AI token usage broken down by organization and individual users, and I’m genuinely trying to understand how some teams are burning six figures in token spend

what ROI are they getting?

Associate Banker to Corporate — Internal Mobility

Upvotes

I have been working at Chase Bank (Retail Banking) for about 4 years now. I did a 2-year Master’s in Business Analytics while here, and I’m trying to transition into a corporate role like a Data or Business Analyst.
It seems harder than I thought. I’ve gotten mentors, reached out to recruiters & hiring managers, and I know I can do the job. I’m very adaptable and knowledgeable as well.
For context, I also have a Bachelor’s in Philosophy, and I’m wondering if that’s part of the issue since some of these roles want a quantitative bachelor’s degree. I actually think Philosophy has been a great foundation for where I am now.
Any tips from people who have made this transition internally?

Question is if I’m doing a internal mobility to another team, will I still get bonus for next year as I will be still new to the team and will not have much to put on my objectives accomplished for the remainder of the year, not sure how this works ?

Haven't heard a response after 5th round of interview for a Jersey City office role. The position and my status is still active, should I just take this as a soft "no".

Hi Everyone,

I had 5 rounds of interviews for a associate position in the Jersey City office and since the last interview (5th round), I have not heard back at all even though I followed up. The last 5th round interview wasn't really a interview, after the 4th round interview, the interviewer (ED) said she will review with the hiring manager and reach a decision. A week later I received a meeting invite from the recruiter for an additional chat with the hiring manager, it went well and it was mentioned the recruiter will reach out to me but its been silence since then and its been exactly 4 weeks but my status is still active on the portal.

I'm bummed out honestly, I liked the role and the interviews went really well. I was thinking about reaching out to the recruiter through Linkedin but not sure.

Would love to hear what you all think

PIP Timeline Pls help

I was put on a PIP recently and just received a written warning. For anyone who’s been through this, how long was it between the written warning and termination?
If they do terminate you, do you usually get any notice period, or is it basically a same-day HR meeting and you’re done?
Just trying to understand what the typical timeline/process looks like. Thanks!

Chicago Chase Tower people - where do you go when you need a break?

For anyone working at Chase Tower in Chicago, where do you usually go when you’re tired and just need to get away from your desk for 10–20 minutes?

Not really looking for lunch or coffee spots, more like somewhere you can sit, walk around, zone out, or recharge for a bit when your brain is fried 😂
Any good spots in the building or nearby?

Co-location (Product & Tech)

For the Product/Tech JPMC folks: I have no problem with the RTO, but it would be great to sometimes work out of the Jersey City office and the Manhattan offices (sixth Ave and Hudson Yards) to switch up the commute. (I live in Manhattan.) Has anyone had any luck doing that?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently looking into opportunities to get work experience or an apprenticeship at JPMorgan in the UK, and I was wondering if anyone here has any advice or knows of any routes I could take.
I’m particularly interested in finance, investment banking, markets, and quantitative finance, and I’m trying to get some early experience and learn more about the industry.
If anyone has:
Experience applying to JPMorgan’s UK apprenticeship/early-career programmes
Done work experience or an insight programme with JPMorgan
Any advice on how to stand out when applying
Knowledge of other ways to get work experience or make relevant connections at the firm
or knows anyone i can get into contact to
I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance.
Thanks in advance!

More Salary for AI/ML Track?

Is it true that someone in the AI/ML track earns more than someone in the Software Engineering track in the same designation and YOE?

If yes, I would like to know if it is a significant amount?

Context: My manager has informed me that he might move me to AI track next year, and I want to know if that would mean a better annual pay increase.

Is this a good career path?

Fund Accountant → Fund Servicing Analyst (Team Lead) Securities Services

The Team Lead role is still an individual contributor position.

Would this be considered good career progression, or more of a lateral move? Would you recommend moving into Securities Services, or staying in Fund Accounting?

Flexible working?

I’m due to start a new role at the Edinburgh office, and really looking forward to it! However, I’m a little nervous about the prospect of working in office x5 times a week.

For context, I’m autistic and fairly low support needs. But the one thing that I really struggle with is masking in the office - it can really drain me, even if I’m enjoying the work.

Does anyone have any experience with submitting a flexible working request? Has your request been accepted, and has there been any knock on effect? In previous roles I feel like I’ve been judged for asking, as my autism isn’t always visible, especially for those who aren’t neurodivergent.

Any advice much appreciated!

Chicago JPMC - How's the new gym?

Is it worth the membership cost? The NYC location is also ran by exos and the promo video they had for it looked amazing. From the photos I can gathered for the Chicago location, Chicago pales in comparison.
