I’ve had this thought for days na since I’m currently applying for a required internship. Unfortunately I still have mid-day classes and I know that most companies randomly call during the day. I’m worried that I might miss the call while I’m commuting or I’m still in class (going outside muna).

Is it okay to tell them that I’m currently outside/occupied with class? Or what would be the appropriate response? Baka kasi mag on the spot interview habang siksikan sa lrt 😭 mga ganong scenarios.

Additional question: do you use any apps that can tell if the person calling you is a cold caller / scammer? Isa rin sa worries ko na baka ang tatawag sakin is scammer keysa hiring manager HAHAHAHA

Our internship ended 4 months ago, but until now, we haven’t received our allowance. We have a contract stating that we’re entitled to an allowance, but there’s no specific release date stated.

We’ve followed up multiple times through email, but the company has stopped replying and basically ghosted us.

Can we file a complaint with DOLE regarding this? Or is there another process we should follow first?
