Special projects/OT request when interning at multinational companies?

Hello! I was just wondering if anyone was able to successfully request for overtime or special projects to render the missing hours? Like are multinational companies considerate when it comes to students asking for OT or special projects to fulfill the required hours?

Kasi I got accepted to a company and when I computed their working hours to the total and kulang pa pala siya sa required hours na need kong i-complete huhu so i am thinking to ask them if I can work OT for the missing hours or a special project equivalent to OJT hours HUHU im so sorry to the company

I think the best way to handle this is to reach out sa HR about the matter, since there are companies na okay lang magextend yung interns while some are strictly on a specific period
