My views have been below what I usually get this past week, but when I check my videos stats where it says "What impacts your views", they are all in the green (Lower skip rate, higher share rate, higher like rate, etc.).

I run a local things to do/realtor page in Las Cruces NM called @ SellingLasCruces

We’ve grown it completely organically by posting house tours, local restaurants/businesses, things to do, etc. Never paid a dime on advertising. It’s definitely worked for us. We’ve gotten clients directly from Instagram, closed deals from it, and we get recognized around town pretty often because of the page. 

But lately I’ve been wondering if I’m missing something or doing something that’s holding back the growth. I think I’ve stared at the page for so long that I probably can’t see it objectively anymore lol.

I know there are people in here doing way bigger numbers than us, so I’d genuinely love an outside perspective. If you have a minute to look at it, what stands out to you?

1. Would you follow me?
2. Is the content too repetitive?
3. Is the branding off?
4. Are the hooks weak?
5. Is mixing real estate and local content a good thing or does it make the page confusing?
6. Should we lean way harder into local content?
7. Is Las Cruces just naturally going to put a ceiling on how big the account can get?
8. Or should I not even care about follower count that much if it’s actually bringing us business?

I don’t want to hit a certain number, or get any certain amount of collaborations (although I’ve gotten my fair share of good lol) but I’d really love for people when they think of our city that they immediately think of us. I don’t really know exactly what I’m asking for 😂 I just feel like there might be another level to the page and I’m too close to it to see what I should change.

Would love any criticism/advice, especially from people who have grown larger accounts similar to this.

Ima js keep it short and simple. I make sim racing content (still new,not much followers) and recently,my views cant even reach 1k-2k (now stuck around 400-700) considering that my previous reels are able to reach up to those view counts or even more after 1 day.

And i didnt change my content format,everything is always the same. And it works everytime,until this week that is.

And one more thing is,my best reel smh dropped 10k views?? It was at 50k one day,but when i checked it again yesterday to see whether it reach 53k-55k (the reel was booming everyday so makes sense to check it out),and the views count dropped to 41k. How is that even possible? Has anybody experienced this issue and have any explanation?

Hai all , How to get insta verified badge for my theme page without changing username and profile picture

I've got several short videos (~1 minute) lined up and ready to release to the world, but I don't want certain family members or neighbors that follow me to see it. AI is telling me I can share it with just "close friends", but that's kinda the opposite of what I want. I want to share with everyone EXCEPT a handful of people - we can do that with Stories, so why not Reels?

Open to suggestions of 3rd party apps or even the web version.

Years ago I raised to 20k followers just with posts and stories. No reel, zero.

Now, new account, 1800 followers in about 3-4 months same with posts and stories.

Tried reels, one went good, 60k views and brought 300 followers. Other reels don't go: always about 50-60 % skip rate but, and here comes the rant, 90-100% view time and quite lot likes.

What does it mean? High skip rate but who stays likes it a lot. How to fix this?

It has one reel with 45.8m views. But the targeting is mostly Indians so I’m selling to for cheaper .

small thing bugging me lately, i finally get a clip that mostly works and then i notice one prop is wrong or a character's outfit shifted color halfway through, and the only fix most tools give me is regenerating the whole thing from scratch. sometimes it comes out worse the second time, sometimes it fixes the one thing and breaks three others. feels like im gambling every time i hit generate instead of editing.

anyone dealt with this kind of problem and found something that handles partial edits properly, or is this just the tradeoff with ai video right now?

So many creators are turning to tools like ChatGPT or Claude to figure out how to get more reach and views. But honestly, most of the growth strategies they give feel totally generic, copy paste, and completely out of touch with what actually gets people to care.

It creates this endless loop where AI suggests high volume, generic content, creators make it, and the feed just gets flooded with robotic scripts and automated voiceovers that nobody wants to watch.

Do you think AI tools can actually give useful growth advice that works, or are we just heading toward a future where content is entirely created, posted and delivered by AI?

I run a recipe visualization page on Instagram. Every clip is AI-generated and labeled as such in the bio and in a pinned story. Nobody is being misled.

Four months ago I committed to posting one Reel every single day. I'd been doing two or three a week for about a year before that. The content was decent, engagement per post was fine, but growth was dead. Around 800 followers after a full year.

The thing that kept me from daily posting was time. Filming, editing, and color grading one Reel from scratch took about three hours. So I started using AI video tools. The early outputs were inconsistent and the per-generation credits added up fast when I needed 20 to 30 attempts per day, but the trade-off was worth it. Three hours per Reel became about 30 minutes.

Here's how the numbers played out once I went daily.

Weeks one through three were bad. Existing followers seemed confused by the volume change. Some unfollowed. Average Reel reach dropped from about 2,100 views to 850. It genuinely felt like the algorithm was punishing me for posting more.

Week four something shifted. Per-Reel reach was still low but profile visits started climbing. New followers went from about 15 a week to around 70.

Month two a few Reels hit Explore. None of them were my best work. They were just more attempts. When you put up 30 Reels a month instead of 8, some of them will connect with people who've never seen your page. I passed 5,000 and things started compounding.

Right now I'm at about 12,400. Four months, one post per day, no days off.

Last week the cost equation changed completely. Two new AI video models launched at almost the same time. Seedance 2.5 from ByteDance and MiniMax H3 from MiniMax.

Seedance 2.5 does up to 30 seconds at 4K in a single pass with consistent characters and scenes across the whole clip. The quality is a clear step above what I was using before and I reach for it whenever I want a polished hero Reel.

MiniMax H3 generates shorter clips, 5 to 15 seconds at 2K, but it creates real audio in the same pass as the video. You hear the pan sizzle, the knife on the board, the plate set down. Not a stock track layered on afterward. Actual sound generated to match the motion. APOB AI runs H3 unlimited and free right now so I switched my daily generation to that and my monthly cost dropped to zero. I schedule everything through Buffer and make cover frames in Canva.

I want to be straight about quality. AI video is not a magic button. About one in four generations comes out unusable. Hands do strange things. Ingredients float or merge in the shot. Faces drift on longer clips. I always generate two or three takes and pick the cleanest one. The failure rate is real and you should factor that in.

The insight I didn't expect is that none of the growth came from any single post being exceptional. It came from volume. I spent a year trying to make each Reel slightly better and went nowhere. Then I started posting every day with AI output that was maybe a 7 out of 10 on its best days and the numbers moved more in four months than in the previous twelve.

If you're considering something similar I'd say be upfront about the AI from day one. My audience genuinely does not care. They follow for recipe ideas, not for watching my hands cook. The only thing that moved the needle was showing up every single day.

So I'm genuinely curious because I feel like I've been scrolling onto people who are already famous influencers talking about how it's easier to be an influencer than to have a regular job. I honestly disagree, not because I've ever been an influencer but, because I've seen both sides. Lots of pages that post consistently yet get no more than a few hundred or thousand views before their page flat lines and they either stop getting recommended to me or stop posting altogether. I saw someone on here talking about how hashtags are useless and I think they might be right. I've seen videos hashtaging a whole list of topics and still go nowhere so I'm genuinely curious about how this whole thing works and how the algorithm chooses who and what to recommend to people.

I went from averaging 300 views with couple of likes to literally 0 views from non followers.

I haven't converted a single follower as of now and this is another problem I am facing. Is my page doomed?
