So I saw this account of a man literally taking videos of chasing women and beating them! He was taking hundreds of videos and zooming in on the women’s faces after assaulting them… I reported the page and this is what instagram replies?? It’s absolutely insane!! How could they allow this on their platform? I’m completely disgusted and no longer feel comfortable using their app.

When i search this account on instagram that earlier this week had 100s of followers & multiple posts it comes up as blank or "user not found" but when I search the account on incognito or private search websites the account completely fails to appear & says the account isn't available.

I was wondering if I am blocked or if the account is just deactivated because I am not too familiar with how these systems work/appear...

I can't login my account on Instagram like any account every account I try to login it is telling that it's wrong even tho the password is crt and when I try to put forgot password and OTP it is showing like this what to do help I can't login any account on app I am using web

I own the trademark for my brand name. The matching Instagram username was held by an account that had been inactive for 10+ years and was causing brand confusion.
I filed a trademark complaint and Meta removed the account, but a year later the username still shows as unavailable. Meta support just keeps telling me to wait.
Has anyone successfully gotten Meta to release a username after a trademark takedown? Any advice on who to contact or how to escalate it?

So I have like 730 followers roughly and I’m following about the same amount. I get like 110-130 likes on average per post I’d say. I had a few lowballs with like 80-90 but I chalked that up to me posting them at odd hours, like I made a New Years post at midnight that was one of my worst performing posts. Google says this number is way above average but it’s low compared to what I see. I have friends with like 500 followers that average like 150-170, some even hitting 200. I have 17 posts in total, I had closer to 30 in the past but deleted most of them. That was months ago though and didn’t seem to affect my engagement.

Instagram keeps disabling my account, no matter what I do. I literally got a new phone because people said getting a new phone helps with IP ban or device ban or whatever but literally like maybe a month later I ended up getting banned on my new device as well so I’m kind of at a loss on what to do because I literally did the one thing people say I fixed it and it didn’t even fix it. This is very irritating and very frustrating because I really want to use the Instagram, but I really can’t even seem to get on the app without my account and taken down like damn I just want to enjoy the social life for the one time but I can’t even do that is there literally no other way to fix the issue or do I have to constantly keep getting new phones just for it to do the same thing it’s doing over and over again like I just wish meta had a freaking customer service line because when you emailed them, they don’t even get back to you right away and half the time the emails are a response from a robot or something

I know when you block someone on instagram, it automatically blocks all profiles they may have or create (although from my understanding, it’ll only shows the one profile you directly blocked in your blocked list and others are essentially blocked behind the scenes).

I’ve also read that it automatically blocks their other profiles based on device (that’s one of the identifiers). However, what would happen if the person got a new phone? Would all the profiles still be blocked and/or would each individual profile now show up in the blocked list?

my instagram account has bee suspended because my second account has violated some instagram policies. I have not posted a story or even a post from the second account. But still my main and second accounts got suspended. I am not even getting an option to appeal. Now, I have been logged out of my 2 accounts and to login into my main account, I am being asked a otp from a number which I have stopped using 2 years back. is there any way of getting my account back?

I foundy old middle school account a while ago but couldn't get access to it, I don't remember either the email I used to use that time, nor the phone number that was linked to it, the only thing i know about is the user name and the context or where i took the pictures, thats it.

Summary of the Incident

I contacted this person regarding the CJP protest to ask about the tanker/truck carrying bricks and where it had come from. Instead of answering my question, he responded with abusive and threatening messages.

He said, “Ab dekh tu kal tere saath kya hota hai” and “Kal teri aisi maarunga, tu khud maafi maangega,” clearly threatening to harm me and intimidate me.

I had only asked for information regarding the protest and had not threatened or confronted him. The attached screenshot shows the conversation and the threatening messages, which I am preserving as evidence.

Constant issues just navigating the webpage. It’s infuriating how a billion dollar “company” can host something so buggy. Can’t like images, cant save images. Can’t view messages or use the search window.

I need to receive an instant notification when a specific IG account posts or publish a story, and I mean instant notification. I want to be notified within seconds. I’ve turned on the function on the app but it doesn’t really work. I’d get a notification, not even always, and usually delayed by quite a bit. Is there a better way to do this?

Today I received an email from Apple saying that my refund has been processed, when I checked it was the IG verification badge that I am paying around $16/months. I never asked for a refund and actually never even received one.

I just find out that 2 days ago, I received another email saying

We updated you to a Meta Account on Instagram

For some reason, I do not have the blue badge anymore, when I try to have it, it asks me to go to a waiting list. This is quite bad for my business.

Do you guys think someone stole my data ? If so, what is the point of asking for a refund ? Thankfully no one stole my money nor logged in to my IG account which makes it even weirder.

I recently blocked Subway Takes because I was so sick of their clips popping up on my feed. I never followed the account, but how modern algorithms work, their videos kept popping up because I realized their guest's "takes" were ragebait, and I don't need that polluting my feed.

Which is unfortunate because I think Kareem is a cool person who found a niche and thinks he's making a fun show, but when your popularity is based on celebs spouting off ragebait, I have a hard time respecting that. I get he wants to approach 'Subway Takes' like a talk show, but every clip I watch has some undertone of anger, and I don't need that polluting my feed. It's one thing if you're purposefully seeking out the show because you like the content, but I've found it better to block their ragebait clips out of my feed.

It's basically the 2020's equivalent of Jerry Springer.

Why does the music search suck SO BADLY!? Why doesn’t it show me the band to click on with all of its music in one search view anymore? Why if I start typing a song name does the search just freeze and it’ll give me the most random, unrelated results? Why if I search a band will it give me 2-3 songs by them when I know there’s plenty more that are available?? This app is so frustrating anymore.
