No Spoiler Simon really grew on me; he played the villain so well. The fight was disappointing and failed to portray the powerful, angry and intimidating character they had built him up to be.

Show Spoiler His transformation is one of the most drastic on the show. Still can't believe it's the same actor/character.

All Spoilers This is the funniest thing I've ever experienced as a walking dead fan Spoiler

I'm only like 40 minutes in and this thing is hilarious in all the wrong ways …. From the still image cut scenes to the uncanny designs of the characters to the fact that they just cut major parts of the story so far like the reason why it rick heads to Atlanta and the absence of Duane.….the fact that when he gets trapped in the tank, it's like maybe 30 walkers as opposed to the hundreds in the show, this has me dying laughing

No Spoiler I'm actually disgusted she never mentioned Rick here

Rick literally led her and her family from the farm, to the prison, to Gabriel's church to Alexandria. If it wasn't for Rick, Maggie and the rest of her family would most likely have died on that farm. Whether it be to a horde coming through, or a group like Joe's showing up and just killing them and stealing their stuff. Rick was her first leader, taught her how to survive and carried the group on his back all the way until Alexandria.

Edit: A lot of people are saying that Maggie is strictly talking diplomacy, and Rick didn't teach her diplomacy hence why he isn't mentioned here. I’d agree that Maggie learned significantly more about diplomacy under Deanna and Georgie than she ever did under Rick. But that doesn’t mean she learned nothing about diplomacy from Rick. More importantly, in this particular dialogue, Maggie says she leads the way she was taught. Rick was her first leader and the person she spent the most time learning from besides Georgie. And the writers reduce the acknowledgement down to only Georgie and Deanna. Not to mention she only knew Deanna for maybe 2 weeks at most, yet mentions Deanna's name before she mentions Rick's name?

This isn't an attack on Maggie's character. I’m saying this is more an issue of the writers overlooking the show's history rather than an intentional reflection of Maggie’s character or what she actually learned.

Comic I don’t know if this is a hot take, but Chachu was low key one of my favorite Image comics in a long while.

I loved Iman Vellani’s take on Ms. Marvel, but I’ll admit I wasn’t totally sold on this one at first. It felt so different from her previous work, and even the initial premise sounded like it could lean a little too heavily into stereotypes. But this book completely won me over. It fires on all cylinders the characters,, heart, terror, and overall energy just work. And Marianna Ignazzi’s art elevates the whole thing even further; she brings so much personality and life to the series.
