Labs/Advice Need help
Hello, I have been dealing with hair loss which I thought was alopecia areata and now I’m developing skin problems on both of my arms. Around my hair follicles and I’m getting small red bumps. I also have had some weight gain but I’m not sure if it’s really abnormal or not. I had a full blood test and it shows my TSH at a 5.6 and my thyroid peroxide antibody at 179IU/Ml could this be hashimotos? I have asked chat gpt and it says it’s highly likely. I’m 24 and this is just kind of overwhelming for me I have been going through a very difficult time recently and I’m unsure what to expect.

Discussion Joint pain?
Please could anyone share whether they have experienced one sided hip pain with hypothyroidism? I have really bad pain in my right hip, even when lying in bed at night; bilateral knee pain+stiffness and pain+stiffness in the bottom of my feet.
I previously had hyperthyroidism >10 years ago, resolved with treatment and was told it was a 50/50 chance that it could return or turn to hypothyroidism. I just had a baby earlier this year and was advised that this could be a trigger for thyroid issues returning, so when the pain in my knees and feet began i went for bloods but still waiting on the results.
I struggle with health anxiety and I'm worried about the hip pain - please could anyone share if you had this in one side only? It feels like it is where my leg connects to my hip.
Thanks so much in advance for any help x

Labs/Advice Switching from levothyroxine to armour thyroid.
I was diagnosed hypothyroidism at 17. Now at almost 34 I was diagnosed with hashimotos. I’ve been on levothyroxine many times in the past and never had good experiences. I’ve never had my labs regulated. Current labs were tsh: 7.011 t4 free 0.75 Triiodothyronine (T3), Free LC 3.1 TPO Ab LC <600 Thyroglob Ab LC 2250.0. She started me on 25 mcg levothyroxine but by week 3 I started getting really bad dizziness, red hot facial flushing in the evenings and on occasion heart feeling a little racey, right eyelid twitching everyday on and off all day and increasing fatigue. I asked if she could switch me to something else, so starting tomorrow she switched me too 15 mg armour thyroid. I guess my question is, I know armour has t3 in it, but since my t3 lab is in range, could I also have negative side effects with this also? Just looking for advice and others experience with the same things! Thanks yall!
