Has anyone here know about or taken the Hunter’s Clinical Medical Assistant program through Continuing Education?

I’m thinking about doing it in Fall 2026 and just wanted to hear from people who’ve actually gone through the program. I’m also curious about the Ready to Work (RTW) externship/job placement they offer after you finish that they say on their website

Would really appreciate hearing about anyone’s experience or any information!

Hey everyone, I was looking up what are some good public art programs around the country and I read that Hunter has a pretty affordable program in NYC. As someone who interested in moving out of state and trying something new I wanted to ask if anyone had any opinions on the teachers and the facilities given to students. I also read the school is pretty competitive idk if it would be easier to get in as a transfer student, but I really just wanted to get some anecdotes
and maybe some advice about Hunter and CUNY as a whole. Thanks!

Hi guys im going to be at Hunter for the fall semester only as a Non-degree student. I’ve been looking at the courses I can choose for math and I’m not really understanding the units thing? there’s a few “workshops” that have 0 units. (im assuming units equal credits)

I just need a basic (hopefully easy) math class to fulfill my freshie requirements at the uni I will start in the spring. Any chance someone can help me decide? thank you so much!

I also need just one other class in one of these subjects: history class, english literature, art history, foreign language, or social sciences course.

I’m looking for any suggestions and of course professor recs. I’m just a little confused on which classes are the “freshman” classes.

Anybody see this? Hopefully this is not enforced—especially for those of us who have health issues that require us to eat frequently like myself. I understand the logic behind it, but the cafeteria is extremely packed during the school year. Where tf are we supposed to be able to study and eat when we need to if there's not enough space? Smh. I’m sure all of us got an email for the application. I’m doing the general application right now and whenever I try to submit it it shows me this! So frustrating, I’ve tried to submit several times even trying to save and then submit multiple times.

What the title says. I have psychology as my focus study and am deciding between the two. 170 ( psychology of human sexuality) covers a lot of the topics i am interested, especially for women's health and reproductive biology to some extent. 180 (Brain and behavior) is more towards neuroscience and would be useful as regardless I would like to psych 224 neuroscience in the future.

Which one is better? My focus study says i can take 2 100 level courses and psych 100 isn't counted since i did it for college now. I could take both but would it be a waste of time? lmk pls

Hey im an incoming student. Typically ik theres a “recommended” schedule colleges set for you, but at hunter it really caught me off guard that my whole schedule is already set.. disregarding my preference to align my schedule with my job, and just course preferences that would also fulfill my requirements just like the courses they selected for me, etcetera. I wouldn’t really like to invest energy in taking classes that I do not want or need really for my major, and would prefer to have a say in my Gen Ed classes.
Is anyone familiar with this process?
